<p>The Mechanical &amp; Rotating QC Inspector is responsible for monitoring, supervising, and controlling all Quality Control activities related to mechanical static and rotating equipment within the AGUP2 Project CPF2 Package. He ensures that all contractual, technical, and quality requirements are properly implemented by the Contractor and Subcontractors during Construction, Pre-commissioning, and Commissioning phases. The position reports directly to the CPF2 Site QC Superintendent and works closely with Construction, Commissioning, QC disciplines, Vendors, and Contractor/Subcontractor teams .</p><p><strong>MAIN MISSIONS/RESPONSIBILITIES</strong></p><p><strong>Daily Inspection &amp; <p>Role &amp; responsibilities Lead and coordinate Civil, Mechanical/Piping, and E&amp;I Quantity Surveyors. Review BOQs, contracts, scope of work, drawings, specifications, and measurement rules. Establish quantity tracking, measurement, and progress-certification procedures. Verify quantities using approved IFC drawings, field measurements, material records, and inspection documents. Review subcontractors monthly progress claims and payment applications. Certify only completed, measurable, and contractually payable work. Prepare measurement sheets, quantity take-offs, progress certificates, and payment recommendations. Reconcile BOQ quantities against IFC, installed, and as-built quantities. Evaluate variations, additional works, new rates, and subcontractor claims. Maintain variation, claim, and quantity-change registers. Coordinate with Construction, Engineering, Planning, Cost Control, QA/QC, Contracts, and Procurement teams.
