Assists in supervising other technicians and prioritizes and/or assigns work when needed. Possesses advanced diagnostic/troubleshooting knowledge and skills. Performs advanced function testing to verify equipment readiness after maintenance. Must be proficient in understanding/interpreting mechanical schematics/drawings/prints. Ability to identify correct parts and locate them in a system search to enable accurate procurement of spares. Ensures adherence, accurate input, and maintenance of data into Halliburton's system of record. This role is responsible for following specific and detailed work processes within the Halliburton Management System (HMS) during daily job activities. Responsible for mentoring junior technicians. Responsible for ensuring duties are performed in a safe, efficient, and effective manner. Participate and advise in developing plans for major shutdowns, construction or alteration projects where mechanical inspections will be critical to the accomplishment of the work; (8). Become personally involved in all repairs during shutdowns to insure a trouble-free start-up. <p>Overview ***This position is physically located in Balad, Iraq*** Under the supervision of the Firefighter Crew Chiefs, the Firefighter responds to multiple-types of emergencies operating as a firefighter. Maintains vehicles, equipment, tools, and protective clothing in a serviceable condition. Extinguish fires and takes precautions to prevent fire rekindling. Operates pumps, foam generators, turrets, nozzles, and other firefighting tools and equipment. Exercises caution to avoid personal injury and property damage and comply with strict health and safety standards. At the site of a fire protects and preserves evidence indicating the cause of the fire. Properly wears personal protective clothing. Conducts and take part in frequent reoccurring proficiency training, OJT and maintains required certifications. Performs other duties as assigned.
