<p><h4>Job description</h4>
<p>The operations manager will be based at one of the three Amentum sites in Iraq and serve the Operations and Maintenance Support Services (OMSS) contract in support of the U.S. Department of State. This position will be responsible for taking ownership of all site operational responsibilities to include directing the daily performance of the organization, planning, scheduling and training processes to meet the requirements of the contract. This position will report to the OMSS program manager. The duties and responsibilities listed below are representative of the nature and level of work assigned and are not necessarily all inclusive.</p>
<h4>Duties:</h4>
<ul>
<li>Responsible for maintaining a safe workplace and ensuring that safety is the highest priority in the workplace.</li>
<li>Comply with all environmental health & safety and quality assurance requirements and goals.</li>
<li>Provide information and materials to these divisions as necessary to ensure adequate and legal documentation.</li>
<li>Act as the program manager’s principal operations representative.</li>
<li>Responsible for the management of all O&M functions, including ensuring there are qualified personnel to meet staffing requirements, and the central planning, coordination, control, and actual performance of these functions.</li>
<li>Manage the O&M and other assigned functions on site to ensure overall contract performance, which requires getting information to and from critical operating/supporting elements and directing/coordinating actions to ensure resources are fully utilized to properly perform the mission.</li>
<li>Monitor system readiness, identify problem areas, and respond to mission requirements to perform contract requirements.</li>
<li>Direct and monitor the preventive maintenance program; accept, process, coordinate, and assign work orders, projects, and large task assignments.</li>
<li>Control resources; monitor staff proficiency and qualifications; monitor staff endurance; monitor the locations and activities of assets; and coordinate the flow of information to and from O&M staff.</li>
<li>Perform additional duties and projects as assigned.</li>
</ul>
<h4>Required:</h4>
<p><strong>Minimum acceptable experience level:</strong><br>
Ten (10) years’ O&M experience compatible with program requirements.</p>

<p><strong>Education:</strong> A high school diploma or GED. A bachelor’s degree in business management, political science, organizational effectiveness or similar discipline leading to a broad management background is preferred.</p>
<p><strong>Passport, licenses and certifications:</strong> As part of pre-contingency requirements, by the time the visa process starts, candidates must possess a valid passport with a minimum of 18 months remaining to expiration date with 8 blank pages. Valid drivers’ license.</p>
<p><strong>Security vetting:</strong> Must be able to obtain and maintain a secret US government clearance. Note: US citizenship is required to obtain a secret clearance.</p>
<p><strong>Language skills:</strong> Satisfactory English proficiency to meet job requirements and to adhere and comply with safety, health, and security measures.</p>
<p><strong>Medical:</strong> Successfully complete and pass the medical and dental examinations as required by Amentum and our customer for deployment to Iraq. Must maintain physical and dental requirements for duration of deployment.</p>

<p>The Fire Fighter will be primarily based at BEC that serve the Life Support Services contract in support of the State Department. The Fire Fighter will be responsible for utilizing resources to accomplish operational requirements and will report to their assigned Crew Chief or Assistant Site Chief. <p>The Fuel Coordinator will be based at the U.S. Embassy Compound in Baghdad, Iraq and serve the Base Life Support Services (BLiSS) contract in support of the U.S. Department of State. The duties and responsibilities listed below are representative of the nature and level of work assigned and are not necessarily all inclusive.</p><p>DUTIES:</p><ul><li>Responsible for maintaining a safe workplace and ensuring that safety is the highest priority in the workplace.</li><li>Comply with all Environmental Health & Safety and Quality Assurance requirements and goals.</li><li>Provide information and materials to these divisions as necessary to ensure adequate and legal documentation.</li><li>Ensures data accuracy and update of equipment inventory database.</li><li>Ensure that related data processing activities meet the requirements.</li><li>Process excess turn-in documentation for all controlled and non-controlled excess equipment and materials.</li><li>Review, reconcile, adjust and process all inventory transactions.</li><li>Process Survey Reports for all missing equipment.</li><li>Process and coordinate Equipment Transfers.</li><li>Perform positive verbal and written communication skills with all internal and external customers.</li><li>Assist in a broad scope of direct and indirect support activities involving customer owned equipment as necessary to complete assigned tasks.</li><li>Perform additional duties and projects as assigned.</li></ul></div></section><section><p class="heading">Desired Candidate Profile</p><p class="paragraph"></p><ul><li>Minimum of 3 years experience supporting a DOD or DOS program Exposure, at least two (2) years of international experience.</li><li>Prior proven experience in Property Disposal operations with Defense Reutilization Management Operations (DRMO), Hazmat experience.</li><li>Experience operating heavy equipment to include up to a 30K Forklift, Extended reach Forklift, Material Handler, Grappler (Excavator), Front End Loader and Material Shredders.</li><li>Experience with cutting torches to include Plasma cutters.</li><li>Commitment to maintaining a high performance team which delivers customer service excellence.</li><li>Knowledge of principles and processes involved in supporting contract responsibilities at an overseas facility.</li><li>Ability to work in a fast-paced environment that requires handling multiple tasks at a given time and rapidly adapting to changing priorities and schedules.</li><li>Cross-cultural sensitivity with an international perspective.</li><li>Excellent organizational and time management skills.</li><li>Computer skills, specifically in Microsoft Word and Excel.</li><li>Ability to become an active and functioning member of a team.</li><li>Ability to be innovative and be an agent for change.</li><li>Expert communication skills to facilitate and disseminate information.</li><li>A high school diploma or GED (General Education Diploma), Bachelor s Degree in related field fifteen (15) yeas of related experience.</li><li>As part of pre-contingency requirements, by the time the visa process starts , candidates must possess a valid passport with a minimum of 18 months remaining to expiration date with 8 blank pages.</li><li>Valid drivers license</li><li>Already possess a US Government issued security clearance or be able to obtain a favorable US Government clearance prior to being hired is required for the position. Must maintain eligibility at the required certification or clearance level for the duration of the contract.</li><li>Satisfactory English proficiency to meet job requirements and to adhere and comply with safety, health, and security measures.</li><li>Successfully complete and pass the medical and drug examinations as required by Amentum and our customer for deployment to Iraq. Must maintain physical and drug requirements for duration of deployment.</li><li>Previous out of home country experience and previous work experience in harsh environmental conditions are a plus.</li><li>Department of State experience.</li><li>Five to seven years of international experience in challenging locations, preferably working in the Middle East, with a working knowledge of customs and cultural differences.</li><li>Experience working with Amentum-PAE.</li><li>Knowledge of the principles and processes involved in Quality Control Management.</li><li>Successful management of multiple sites in geographically dispersed locations.</li><li>Ability to collect, analyze and summarize data and to prepare clear and concise reports.</li><li>Experience in effectively dealing with international and headquarters staff, and sensitivity to other cultures.</li><li>Exercise sound judgment and make decisions independently.</li><li>Excellent organizational and time management skills, with the ability to handle multiple tasks and administrative details in a fast paced and constantly changing environment.</li><li>Expert communication skills to facilitate and disseminate information.</li></ul><p></p></section>
