Under broad supervision, applies specialist knowledge or skills to solve complicated and unique challenges, or directs the daily activities of a business, technical, or functional support team. Establishes priority for completing prescribed tasks. Uses judgment to interpret internal and external concerns and create best practices. May direct resources, prioritize work, and guide less experienced team members. Rely on experience, interpersonal skills, and a thorough knowledge of the industry to complete tasks in accordance with policies, processes, and corporate strategy.</p><br><br><br><p><b>Responsibilities</b></p><br><br><ul><li>Principle advisor to the Program Director (Projects) / Project Director on all security related matters and information.</li><li>Development of the overall security strategy to mitigate security risks.</li><li>Lead the project crisis management team.</li><li>Creating emergency response plans.</li><li>Develop, implement, and test emergency evacuation procedures.</li><li>Maintain Persons on Board, ISOS evacuation manifest lists, and Iraq plans database.</li><li>Create reports for management of country specific security status.</li><li>Manage all aspects of contracted Private Security Companies in line with contracted services.</li><li>Implementing security compliance of sub-contractors.</li><li>Conducting security audits.</li><li>Security coordination of daily movements for contracted private security companies and fleet of soft skin vehicles.</li><li>Monitor Sub-contractor IVMS system, reporting Bi-weekly data output.</li><li>Maintain Sub-contractor annual security training program.</li><li>Security consultant and focal point of contact for all other KBR Projects within Iraq.</li><li>Provide and maintain Security / Hotel Risk Assessments.</li><li>Liaising with other KBR projects POC based at and outside Rumaila oil field on security-related matters.</li><li>Ensure regular security TBTs conducted.</li><li>Maintaining a professional, courteous and strong relationship with client security management.</li><li>Providing input to KBR Security Management documentation and plans.</li><li>Undertake interdepartmental liaison to ensure effective communication between staff on matters of EPCM security standards.</li><li>Assist with assurance audits of EPCM security projects both on Rumaila Oilfield and outside to ensure that EPCM security standards are implemented and maintained.</li><li>Assist with any other tasks, as required by the Regional EMEA Security Manager.</li></ul><br><p><b>Experience</b></p><br><br><ul><li>Proven ability with international projects working in high-risk environments and contexts and operating in unsecured environments.</li><li>High level of experience, ready to learn developing security related technical tools guidelines and systems as well as able to work under minimal supervision.</li><li>Understanding of principles and code of conduct associated with a specific sector and/or sub-sector of work.</li><li>Effective and clear communicator, ability to collaborate across teams and geographies and Initiates and skilled in interdisciplinary problem solving.</li><li>Ability to gain a precise understanding of the various local, regional, country, and international policies, operational positions, and interactions, providing clear dynamic briefings and analysis of given and unfolding security and political situations when they occur.</li><li>Strong assessment, evaluation, analysis, and strategic planning and project management skills.</li><li>Excellent interpersonal skills with demonstrated ability to manage and work under stressful conditions.</li><li>Understanding of the local political, contextual, and ethical issues.</li><li>Previous experience interacting with local government agencies, and other foreign agencies to implement security strategies and procedures relating to S&amp;S matters.</li><li>Oil &amp; gas experience preferred.</li><li>Full clean driving license.</li></ul><br><p><b>Technical Skills/Knowledge</b></p><br><br><ul><li>Operational management</li><li>Risk Management &amp; Risk Assessments</li><li>The ability to communicate effectively at all levels and be able to verbally brief and articulate.</li><li>Meticulous organizational and time-keeping skills.</li><li>Ability to function effectively with limited supervision and in high pressure situations.</li><li>Ability to work in a high pressure and demanding environment.</li><li>Ability to work cohesively and communicate successfully in multi-cultural teams whilst being aware of and sensitive to cultural differences.</li><li>Computer Literacy.</li><li>English first language</li><li>Proficient in Microsoft Office programs and related software.</li></ul><br><p><b>Qualifications/Certifications Requirements</b></p><br><br><p><b>Essential </b></p><br><br><ul><li>Undergraduate degree with ten years of security experience in corporate security, law enforcement or military.</li><li>Degree may be substituted with 13+ years of security, military or law enforcement experience, 3+ of which should be in management.&nbsp;</li></ul><br><p><b>Desirable </b></p><br><br><ul><li>Military Veteran preferred – Ex military Warrant Officer or SNCO.</li></ul><br><br><br> </div>

<h2 class="h5">Job description</h2> <div class="t-break" data-jb-field="description"> <p><strong>Tasks and Responsibilities</strong></p><br><ul><li>To be able to deputise for the Logistics Manager.</li><li>Maintain the HRMS Iraq equipment database in conjunction with the Equipment support team.</li><li>Maintain the armoury holdings and ensure full compliance with GoI regulation and Control Risks SoPs.</li><li>Ensure the general security of the armoury and its contents, including control and containment, also daily/weekly/monthly checks of the holdings.</li><li>Issue ammunition and maintain the stack tally cards records for ammunition in the ammunition bunker.</li><li>Maintain the Equipment Table account and advise the Regional Logistics Manager of any changes or discrepancies to the Control Risks equipment holdings.</li><li>Issue/receipt items onto the main equipment holding account and issue/receipt to sub-units/personnel as required.</li><li>Perform daily/weekly/monthly checks in accordance with Control Risks SOP’s.</li><li>Maintain sub department stock inventory and stock levels in accordance with Control Risks SOP’s.</li><li>Knowledge of facility management and generator systems.</li><li>Sub-contractor engagement and management</li><li>Be prepared to undertake any reasonable task requested in the day-to-day management of the regional logistics department.</li></ul> </div>
