<p>The IT & Telecom Lead / Construction Supervisor – Telecommunications is responsible for overseeing all telecommunications construction activities across greenfield and brownfield scopes within the Majnoon Oil Field. The role ensures safe execution, technical integrity, compliance with international standards, and alignment with project cost and schedule objectives. This position provides leadership to telecom technicians and contractors while coordinating closely with Engineering, HSE, Construction, and Contracts & Procurement teams.</p>
<h4>Accountability / expectations</h4>

<p>The post holder is responsible for the daily veterinary care to the K9 Head of Section /Kennel Master of the Airport Canine Explosives & Narcotics Detection Unit. Ensure that K9 Teams are healthy and fit to perform their operational duties efficiently and safely. This is a key Iraqi national role and includes managing the full parameters of the veterinary programs to ensure that the Explosive & Narcotics Detection Canines are ‘Fit for Purpose’ and capable of performing their operational delivery. The incumbent should also possess the ability to forge relationships with peers and stakeholders (primarily the MOI K9 Veterinary and Licensing Directorate). The postholder plays a critical role in the readiness of Canines.
Key Areas of Responsibility:
a) Veterinary Care: Monitor health, nutrition, veterinary care and psychological well-being of all canines.
b) Conduct Physical Examinations: Perform thorough physical exams to assess the overall health of dogs.
c) Diagnose Illnesses and Injuries: Identify and diagnose health issues through various laboratory tests, such as blood tests, urinalysis, biopsies, X-rays, MRI and ultrasounds.
d) Administer Vaccinations: Provide necessary vaccinations to protect dogs from infectious diseases.
e) Perform Surgeries: Conduct surgeries, including routine procedures like spaying and neutering, as well as emergency surgeries
f) Prescribe Medications: Recommend & prescribe medications for treating illnesses and managing chronic conditions.
g) Provide Preventive Care: Offer advice on proper nutrition, exercise, and grooming to maintain dogs' health.
h) Canine Feeding: Ensure that all canines are fed twice daily with the correct amount and quality of foodstuffs required for them to perform their duties. Coordinate with procurement for replenishment and upgrades.
i) Educate K9 Handlers & Kennel Assistants: Guide handlers and Kennel Assistants in how to care for their dogs, including preventive healthcare, parasite control, dietary recommendations & emergency care.
j) Maintain Medical Records: Keep detailed records of each dog's medical history, treatments, and progress.
k) Handle Emergencies: Respond to urgent health issues and provide immediate critical care, stabilization and perform life-saving procedures.
l) Collaborate with Specialists: Work with other veterinary specialists when advanced care or specific expertise is needed.
m) Communication Skills: Proficiency in communicating with K9 Handlers & Kennel Assistants, explaining diagnoses, treatment options, and preventive care measures.
n) MOI Veterinary & Licensing: Liaise closely with the MOI Veterinary & Licensing Department to ensure that all new canines are properly processed and meet the government & agency detection standards for EDDs and NDDs.</p><p>Education:

Experience:
• Applicant must have veterinary experience – either military, police or civilian.

<h4>Working and living conditions</h4>
<p>This position may be located in a war zone, in an environment with harsh and dangerous working and living conditions. While performing the duties of this job, the employee may regularly be exposed to extreme and austere desert-like environment. Temperatures can reach 120-130 degrees Fahrenheit/50-55 degrees Celsius during the summer months. Employees must be willing and able to perform regular job requirements in this austere, extreme environment, as well as willing and able to deploy to Iraq for extended periods. Work schedules are a minimum of 6 days per week and 10 hours per day, while some jobs have higher daily and weekly minimums. Employees must be willing and able to perform physical activities including, but not limited to, heavy lifting and moving of items, parts, assemblies, and equipment up to the safety regulation maximum; climbing in and out of equipment; crawling; and working outdoors. <p>The Operations Manager will be based at the Baghdad Embassy Compound (BEC) site in Iraq and serve the Operations and Maintenance Support Services (OMSS) contract in support of the U.S. Department of State. This position will be responsible for taking ownership of the site operational responsibilities to include directing the daily performance of the organization, planning, scheduling and training processes to meet the requirements of the contract. This position will report to the OMSS Program Manager. <p>The UH-60 Aircraft Mechanic AM-II performs the full range of military tactical aircraft maintenance and maintains repairs and troubleshoots malfunctions in aircraft structure, landing gear, flight surfaces and controls, anti-icing, pneudraulic, engines, auxiliary power unit, and ventilation and heating systems. Remove and install aircraft subsystem assemblies and components such as engines, rotors, transmissions, mechanical flight controls and their components. Service and lubricate aircraft and subsystems. Safely prepare aircraft for inspections and maintenance checks and services. Perform scheduled inspections and assist in performing special inspections. Perform limited maintenance operational checks and diagnoses and troubleshoots aircraft systems using special tools and test equipment as required. <p><h4>Purpose and scope:</h4>
<p>Supervise the maintenance cycle to ensure satisfactory completion of the program objectives.</p>
<h4>Essential responsibilities:</h4>
<ul>
<li>Supervise all maintenance operations for assigned equipment in accordance with applicable PWS, company policies, OSHA, DOT, ANSI, ASME and applicable military regulations.</li>
<li>Supervise shop foreman and mechanics to include vacation planning, discipline, conducting performance evaluations, and training.</li>
<li>Establish job priorities and estimate down time.</li>
<li>Coordinate workflow for downed equipment waiting for parts to minimize backlog of work and cost to customer division.</li>
<li>Provide direct support to internal and external customers to ensure compliance, tracking efficiency, burn rates, equipment usage and maximizing cost avoidance measures.</li>
<li>Supervise the recovery operations of MHE, VE, CE, heavy and light vehicle maintenance throughout assigned area of operation.</li>
<li>Coordinate the proper administration, maintenance and distribution of approved publications, warranty documentation, and LDD and ECOD documentation.</li>
<li>Provide input to management for forecasting and monitoring of the stock levels for required service and repair parts and petroleum.</li>
<li>Responsible for the accurate and timely submission of all required plans and reports.</li>
<li>Maintain effective lines of formal and informal communication amongst all levels of management and the customer as required.</li>
<li>Coordinate collection and preparation of activity reports.</li>
<li>Supervise and coordinate all maintenance activities required per the preventive maintenance program.</li>
<li>Provide for and enforce guidelines to ensure the health, safety, and welfare of all assigned employees.</li>
<li>Act as the point of contact for all maintenance issues in the absence of the Maintenance Manager.</li>
<li>Monitor team development and ensure the execution of performance evaluations in accordance with DI policy.</li>
<li>Conduct site visits to establish professional relationships with maintenance teams, site personnel, and the customer as needed.</li>

<li>Knowledge of MHE, heavy truck and/or heavy equipment.</li>
<li>Knowledge of equipment parts acquisition, warranty, LDD, and ECOD submissions.</li>
<li>Must possess knowledge of DOT, OSHA, ANSI, ASME, military regulations, standards and OEM requirements.</li>
<li>Knowledge of diagnostics and ability to conduct technical research.</li>
