Implements the Fire Chief s comprehensive firefighting program at the assigned installation to ensure compliance with AR 420-1, Army Facilities Management, Chapter 25, Fire and Emergency Services, Local work instructions, and National Fire Protection Association (NFPA) Guidelines.</p><p>This position description is subject to change at any time as needed to meet the requirements of the program or company. <p><h4>Purpose and scope:</h4>
<p>The site manager has overall responsibility for cost, schedule and technical performance of the operation. Accountable for production, supply, production control/planning and quality management aspects of operation. Acts as primary point of contact for customers at the work site level.</p>
<h4>Essential responsibilities:</h4>
<li>Provides direction and leadership to all site assigned personnel.</li>
<li>Prepares and submits site labor/non-labor budgets, forecast estimated costs and control subcontractors.</li>
<li>Controls service contracts in support of site operations.</li>
<li>Manages all department managers/staff assigned to site operations.</li>
<li>Manages and coordinates research and investigations into business problems.</li>
<li>Provides guidance and assistance relative to operating problems and projects.</li>
<li>Performs all other position related duties as assigned or requested.</li>
<h4>Minimum position knowledge, skills, and abilities required:</h4>
<li>Bachelor's degree or equivalent combination of academic, technical or military training and experience.</li>
<li>Proven experience working with foreign labor workforce.</li>
<li>Possess 5 or more years of diverse management experience including experience in vehicle maintenance, facilities maintenance or logistics management.</li>
<li>Possess excellent communication, analytical, project management and supervisory skills.</li>
<li>Desktop computer skills are essential with proficiency in full range of Microsoft Office products and should be capable of preparing management level reports and presentations.</li>
<li>Position may require occasional travel.</li>
<li>Possess a valid state issued driver’s license.</li>
<h4>Work environment, physical demands, and mental demands:</h4>
<p>Typical office environment with no unusual hazards, occasional lifting to 20 pounds, constant sitting while using the computer terminal, constant use of sight abilities while reviewing documents, constant use of speech/hearing abilities for communication and constant mental alertness. Must possess planning/organizing skills and must be able to work under deadlines. Position requires routine travel to site operating locations.</p>
