The application requires a Business Development Officer to expand its hotel partner network, develop commercial relationships, promote adoption, and generate sustainable booking growth.</p><p>The position requires strong experience in Software as a Service (SaaS) sales and business development, with the ability to explain digital products, demonstrate their business value, and convert prospects into active partners.</p><p>The Business Development Officer will manage the business development cycle, from market research and lead generation through presentations, negotiations, partner onboarding, and account development.</p><p>The officer will focus on securing productive partnerships and increasing actual use of Baz Booking, with performance assessed through partner activation, bookings, and commercial results.</p><p>Duties and Responsibilities</p><p><strong>A. This role merges tactical convoy and movement tracking responsibilities with theater-level logistics integration, enabling effective planning, distribution, and accountability of personnel, equipment, and materiel across all operational nodes.</p><br><p><b>How a Transportation Coordinator will make an impact:</b></p><br><ul><li>Monitors all transportation movements and scheduled distribution activities.</li><li>Supports analysis, planning, and coordination of daily provisioning, maintenance, and repair activities.</li><li>Conducts convoy briefings, staging area management, and safety briefings.</li><li>Inputs, validates, and closes movement data in TC-AIMS II, MTS, BCS3, and other systems.</li><li>Tracks convoys and retrieves reports from Movement Control Teams (MCTs).</li><li>Maintains historical transportation and movement records.</li><li>Creates circulation overlays and supports route planning.</li><li>Analyzes freight cost performance and assists with sourcing transportation carriers.</li><li>Ensures HAZMAT documentation, certification, and regulatory compliance.</li><li>Uses LIS systems including GCSS-Army, LOADOUT, IGC, and JCM.</li><li>Creates and manages Transportation Movement Requests (TMRs).</li><li>Supports intermodal operations including distribution, retrograde, and container management.</li><li>Ensures convoy security coordination and link-up with MCTs.</li><li>Leads cargo truck convoys ensuring mission readiness, safety, and accountability.</li><li>Supports blocking, bracing, packing, crating, and tie-down operations.</li><li>Maintains compliance with DTR 4500.9-R, ISO, and host-nation requirements.</li><li>Participates in movement boards and multinational coordination meetings.</li><li>Maintains in-transit visibility (ITV) using RFID and DoD systems.</li></ul>What you'll need to succeed:<ul><li>HS Diploma or equivalent and 6 years related experience (or military experience in lieu of education).</li><li>Working Knowledge of transportation, distribution, warehouse operations, and inventory management.</li><li>Experience in convoy operations, movement control, and transportation documentation.</li><li>Proficiency with LIS systems including LOADOUT, IGC, JCM, GCSS-Army, TC-AIMS II, and MTS.</li><li>Knowledge of HAZMAT certification and handling requirements.</li><li>Experience with MHE (4K, 6K, 10K, 12K, 14K forklifts and 100K container handlers).</li><li>Understanding of intermodal operations and sustainment logistics.</li><li>Strong communication, analytical, and problem-solving skills.</li><li>Ability to work in austere or deployed environments.</li><li>Active U.S. SECRET clearance.</li><li>Valid U.S. passport (minimum 2 years validity, 4 blank pages).</li><li>Ability to pass CRC requirements and work a 48-hour workweek.</li><li><b>Willingness to deploy to Iraq, Kuwait, Jordan, Saudi Arabia, Bahrain, Qatar, UAE, or other assigned areas.</b></li><li>Valid US and Host Nation driver’s license.</li></ul>Certifications:<ul><li>HAZMAT / HAZCOM certification (required or obtainable after hire).</li><li>Theater-required certifications (AT, OPSEC, Cyber, etc.).</li><li>Forklift certification for required MHE equipment.</li></ul><b>Working Environment</b><p>Work is conducted in outdoor, warehouse, or operational environments with potential exposure to physical, chemical, and environmental hazards. This is not, however, a guarantee of compensation or salary.
