Identifies innovative ways to apply HAL technology, service capability and expertise within the context of understanding the reservoir, production and facilities to design new, step-change field exploitation methodologies. Integral member of the multi-discipline Production Team comprised of a reservoir engineer, production geologist and field personnel team. Analyzes production history, well files, production equipment and decline curve analysis and nodal analysis of well performance to estimate remaining recoverable reserves, production and cost of upgrading equipment. Selects and implements production technology, service capability and expertise including completion systems comprised of tubing selection, perforating, sand control and fine migration, matrix stimulation, water control and hydraulic fracturing; artificial lift equipment comprised of sucker-rod lift, gas lift, electrical submersible pumps, subsurface hydraulic pumps, progressing-cavity pumps and plunger lift; real-time surveillance and monitoring systems and waterflooding and other enhanced recovery techniques. <h4>Qualification & training requirements</h4>
<ul>
<li>BSc in engineering degree or MSc in environment or equivalent.</li>
<li>NEBOSH Environmental Management Certificate is preferred.</li>
<li>Working knowledge of HSE-related activities and environmental monitoring programs.</li>
<li>Certified ISO 45001 and ISO 14001 or equivalent.</li>
</ul>
<h4>Experience</h4>
<ul>
<li>Five years of relevant job experience within the oil & gas industry.</li>
<li>Knowledge of HSE rules and regulations of the oil industry.</li>
<li>Has an awareness of STP sampling and soil and groundwater-related matters.</li>
<li>Knowledge in recognizing environmental issues and problems.</li>
<li>Knowledge in using the noise handheld equipment.</li>
<li>Experience in data managing and reporting.</li>
<li>Demonstrable experience in all functional aspects of environmental monitoring programs, including environmental contract of air quality monitoring, soil and groundwater monitoring, noise monitoring program, environmental reports review, AAQMS (ambient air quality system) station managing and maintaining.</li>
<li>Minimum of four years of responsible experience related to contaminated site assessment and remediation, environmental risk assessment, environmental field sampling, monitoring, instrumentation, laboratory analyses and data management.</li>
</ul>
<h4>Language proficiency, computer and software skills</h4>
<ul>
<li>MS Office: Excel – Intermediate, Word – Intermediate, PowerPoint – Intermediate.</li>
<li>English – Intermediate (verbal & written).</li>
</ul>
<h4>Skills</h4>

<li>IT skills (Excel, PowerPoint, Microsoft Office, SharePoint).</li>
<li>Presentation skills and strong reporting skills.</li>
<li>Communication skills, teamwork, and stakeholder engagement.</li>
<li>A genuine interest in and understanding of environmental issues and relevant legislation.</li>
<li>High proficiency with environmental software, e.g. Env Man as part of air quality monitoring and maintenance of environmental monitoring equipment.</li>
