<p>Overview ***This position will be physically located in Iraq in support of LOGCAP.*** Under supervision of the Waste Services Manager, the Waste Management Supervisor supervises and coordinates all activities of a Non-Hazardous Waste Management Operation which includes wastewater treatment plant operations and black and gray water collection and disposal. The Supervisors oversees all personnel engaged in operation, maintenance, and repair of all Sewage and Black Water Waste Management activities at a 24 / 7 facility. Responsibilities This position description is subject to change at any time as needed to meet the requirements of the program or company. + Directs activities of workers engaged in tasks such as black and gray water collection, and dust abatement. + Assists workers in repairing facilities and equipment, applying general knowledge of wastewater collection and disposal safety procedures, and using hand tools. + Maintains personnel records. + Trains workers in performance of duties and safety procedures. + Inspects facilities and other equipment to detect need for maintenance and repair. + Performs other duties as described. Qualifications + Minimum Qualifications: Education/Certifications: One year related experience may be substituted for one year of education, if degree is required. + Must be a U.S. Citizen + High school diploma or equivalent required. Indoor and/or outdoor environment with very adverse and harsh conditions (i.e., hot, dry, dusty, desert environment with average temperatures of 30 degrees in the winter and 130 degrees in the summer months). + Includes some industrial production environment conditions as well. + Physical Requirements: + Medium work. Exerting up to 50 pounds of force occasionally, and/or up to 30 pounds of force frequently, and/or up to 10 pounds of force constantly to move objects. + Work may require heavy lifting, stooping, climbing, prolonged standing, prolonged sitting, and working with or in areas where a potential could exist for exposure to physical, chemical, or biological agents. <p>Oversee and coordinate all facilities-related functions for the camp operations in Basra, ensuring safe, reliable, and cost-effective support services. Lead cross-functional teams in camp operations, catering, transportation planning, and facilities maintenance to deliver high-quality services that meet project requirements and client expectations.</p>
<h4>Key responsibilities</h4>
<ul>
<li>Lead and manage daily operations of camp facilities, including housing, dining/catering, transportation services, security infrastructure, utilities, and maintenance programs.</li>
<li>Develop and implement preventative maintenance plans and safety protocols to maintain a safe, compliant, and efficient camp environment.</li>
<li>Plan, schedule, and optimize staffing, rosters, and workloads for camp operations, catering, transportation, and facilities maintenance teams.</li>
<li>Manage vendor relationships and contractor performance for facilities services, ensuring adherence to scope, budget, and timeline.</li>
<li>Monitor and control facility budgets, forecast resource needs, and drive cost-saving initiatives without compromising quality.</li>
<li>Ensure compliance with local regulations, health and safety standards, and project-specific security requirements.</li>
<li>Coordinate with site leadership, procurement, and logistics to align facilities services with project milestones and client expectations.</li>
<li>Prepare and present regular reports on facilities performance, maintenance status, incidents, and improvement plans.</li>
<li>Lead continuous improvement efforts, implementing best practices in camp operations and facilities management.</li>
<li>Respond to emergencies and oversee crisis management and contingency planning as required.</li>

<h4>Qualifications</h4>

Demonstrated ability to develop budgets, manage contracts, and optimize operations under tight deadlines.</p>
