<h4>Accountability / expectations</h4>

<p>The Project Controls Lead will oversee the work of the Project Cost Engineer, Project Planner/Scheduler, Document Controller and Project Estimator. Implements the Fire Chief’s comprehensive firefighting program at the assigned installation to ensure compliance with AR 420-1, Army Facilities Management, Chapter 25, Fire and Emergency Services, Local work instructions, and National Fire Protection Association (NFPA) Guidelines. <p><h4>Duties</h4>
<p>Responsible for maintaining a safe workplace and ensuring that safety is the highest priority in the workplace.</p>
<p>Comply with all Environmental Health & Safety and Quality Assurance requirements and goals.</p>
<p>Provide information and materials to these divisions as necessary to ensure adequate and legal documentation.</p>
<p>Ensure data accuracy and update of equipment inventory database.</p>
<p>Ensure that related data processing activities meet the requirements.</p>
<p>Process excess turn-in documentation for all controlled and non-controlled excess equipment and materials.</p>
<p>Review, reconcile, adjust and process all inventory transactions.</p>
<p>Process Survey Reports for all missing equipment.</p>
<p>Process and coordinate equipment transfers.</p>
<p>Perform positive verbal and written communication skills with all internal and external customers.</p>
<p>Assist in a broad scope of direct and indirect support activities involving customer owned equipment as necessary to complete assigned tasks.</p>
<p>Perform additional duties and projects as assigned.</p>
<h4>Required</h4>
<p><strong>Minimum acceptable experience level:</strong> Minimum of 3 years’ experience supporting a DOD or DOS program exposure, at least two (2) years’ of international experience.</p>
<p><strong>Knowledge, skills, and abilities:</strong></p>

<li>Prior proven experience in property disposal operations with Defense Reutilization Management Operations (DRMO), Hazmat experience.</li>
<li>Experience operating heavy equipment to include up to a 30K forklift, extended reach forklift, material handler, grappler (excavator), front end loader and material shredders.</li>
<li>Experience with cutting torches to include plasma cutters.</li>

<p><strong>Education:</strong> A high school diploma or GED (General Education Diploma).</p>
<p><strong>Passport, licenses and certifications:</strong></p>

<li>As part of pre-contingency requirements, by the time the visa process starts, candidates must possess a valid passport with a minimum of 18 months remaining to expiration date with 8 blank pages.</li>
<li>Valid drivers’ license.</li>

<p><strong>Security vetting:</strong> Already possess a US Government issued security clearance or be able to obtain a favorable US Government clearance prior to being hired is required for the position. Must maintain eligibility at the required certification or clearance level for the duration of the contract.</p>
<p><strong>Language skills:</strong> Satisfactory English proficiency to meet job requirements and to adhere and comply with safety, health, and security measures.</p>
<p><strong>Medical:</strong> Successfully complete and pass the medical and drug examinations as required by the employer and customer for deployment to Iraq. Must maintain physical and drug requirements for duration of deployment.</p>
<h4>Desired</h4>
<ul>
<li>Previous out of home country experience and previous work experience in harsh environmental conditions are a plus.</li>
<li>Department of State experience.</li>
<li>Five to seven years’ of international experience in challenging locations, preferably working in the Middle East, with a working knowledge of customs and cultural differences.</li>
<li>Experience working with the employer.</li>
</ul>
