<p>The IT HCS & VMware Platform Supervisor is responsible for supervising the operation, administration, governance, and continuous improvement of the Huawei Cloud Stack (HCS) platform and related private or hybrid cloud services across the IT data center environment.</p>
<p>The role leads HCS platform support activities to ensure secure, available, scalable, and recoverable cloud services, while coordinating with infrastructure, network, security, application, vendor, and service management teams to meet business continuity and operational requirements.</p>
<h4>Duties and responsibilities</h4>

<li>Supervise daily administration of Huawei Cloud Stack services including ManageOne, FusionCompute, resource pools, projects or tenants, compute, storage, virtual networking, identity and access, monitoring, and platform health.</li>

<p>This position serves as an independent team player or assists the design lead on assigned projects or performs simple to difficult detail design engineering assignments, evaluates, selects, and applies engineering methods, techniques, procedures, and criteria to a broad set of complex assignments.</p>
<h4>Job details</h4>
<li>Coordinate with design lead and engineering lead while execution of scope of work in line with defined schedule and milestones.</li>
<li>Produce electrical design and instrumentation design deliverables such as power layout, substation layout, grounding layouts, cable tray layouts, cable trench layouts, lighting layouts, installation details, bulk material MTOs, SLDs, cable block diagram, loop drawings, termination diagram, hook up drawings, instrumentation and electrical installation drawings, electrical schematics, control system architecture drawings and interconnection diagrams as a minimum with discipline design team.</li>
<li>Develop and coordinate design documents with other disciplines, and/or other KBR offices located across, customers and field engineering team.</li>
<li>Produce 2D drawings in AutoCAD, MicroStation or equivalent software and coordinate within design team and inter discipline.</li>
<li>Ensure that electrical and instrumentation systems design comply with all applicable installation codes, design guidelines, regulations, and standards.</li>
<li>Coordinate and participate in activities associated with material procurement such as vendor drawing review of electrical equipment, bulk materials estimation, and other discipline packages.</li>
<li>Maintain quality deliverables and documents per quality procedures.</li>
<li>Produce design deliverables efficiently by acquiring the latest trends and techniques in the market and by implementing the latest 3D/2D tools.</li>
<h4>Minimum requirements</h4>
<li>Diploma in electrical engineering from an accredited college or university with a minimum of 5-8 years of experience in electrical engineering and design activities in EPC or consultancy firm.</li>
<li>Advanced knowledge and application of international codes and standards such as IEC, BSI, IEEE/ANSI, NFPA and industrial standards.</li>
<li>Ability to manage and work with fellow team members with minimal supervision from seniors.</li>
<li>Knowledge of electrical system, instrumentation and control system engineering and design of LNG, petrochemical, oil & gas, ammonia and industrial facilities for complete engineering cycle such as conceptual design, basic engineering, FEED and EPC.</li>
<li>Good written and oral communication skills.</li>
<li>3D software skills like PDMS, S3D, E3D and 2D software skills like AutoCAD, MicroStation, review software like Navisworks, SPR, lighting software tools are preferable.</li>
