<p>Facility & Safety agent is responsible for follow-up safety facilities & firefighting systems align with technicians in all transmission offices, warehouses, DCs, and shops. Assessing health, safety & environment measures to be applied in all departments in the company. Search and conduct survey for all Buildings for the existence of firefighting systems. Record any abnormal situation from HSE (health, safety & environment) angles, notify the related team leader about the cases, and take suitable action to solve any problems arising in this regard, seeking superior advice if needed. Follow up on testing the drinkable water used in the company at the governmental Health and Environment departments. The role supports integration between WIP and Pipeline Project schedules, follows execution progress from the field, and provides reliable information to support project decision-making. Wood has been awarded an Onshore Project to support an International Client operation by providing Brownfield Engineering & Design Services. The Vision of this Contract is to enhance the production & assets integrity across various locations. Team of Engineers and Designers based in Basra and Dubai supports execution of these projects. Projects under this contract focuses on Flare system revamps/re-ignition, Rehab of aging assets, BTEX emission control, Flare Gas Recovery & Replacement/upgrade of obsolete equipment, piping & systems.</p><p>Job Objectives:</p><ul><li>To always promote safe behavior</li><li>To ensure that all work is completed without compromise to quality and is delivered according to the project schedule.</li><li>To lia with the Client s Engineering, Operations and Maintenance staff as required to ensure a consistent approach to project completion.</li><li>To produce and verify piping engineering and design deliverables as and when required.</li><li>To co-ordinate with other disciplines during all stages of design development, construction, pre-commissioning, and start-up</li><li>To provide technical support to site as required</li><li>To assist in the coordination of all activities related to Piping engineering and design.</li><li>To identify any areas of concern with respect to progress and/or quality and recommend corrective actions as required.</li></ul><p><strong>Desired Candidate Profile</strong></p><p>What makes you remarkable?</p><p>At Wood, we are committed to equal opportunities and welcome all talented individuals to consider joining our team. It will take all of us working together to deliver solutions to the world s most critical challenges.</p><p>Expected:</p><ul><li>Bachelor s degree in an Engineering discipline</li><li>Minimum of 5-7 years piping design engineering experience in the oil and gas industries.</li><li>Onshore Oil and Gas related design experience.</li><li>Familiarity with International Design Guidelines and Standards.</li><li>A determination to continually improve safety in all aspects of plant design and operation.</li><li>Exposure to typical software packages (Auto Cad / PDMS / Micro station / PDS) that are used in piping engineering and design.</li><li>Extensive Brown field and green field experience in the oil and gas industry.</li><li>Proven capability in an engineering design company.</li><li>Experience of site-based project work involving field engineering and understanding of construction, commissioning, operations, or maintenance relativity is preferred.</li><li>Experience of working with multi-national and multi-cultural project teams is strongly preferred.</li><li>Commercially / contractually aware and able to manage design budgets.</li><li>A determination to continually improve safety in all aspects of plant design and operation.</li><li>Experience of participation in HAZOP & HAZID studies is essential.</li><li>Familiarity with typical software packages that are used in pipeline engineering and designing.</li></ul>
