The Lead Process Safety Engineer (LPSE) will be a member of the Central Engineering Team reporting into the Process Safety Team Lead (PSTL). The LPSE will provide deep process safety engineering expertise and judgment in service of the operation and development of the Rumaila field. The LPSE shall work closely with Projects and Area Operations to ensure efficient handover of all issues that require process safety engineering input to resolve. The incumbent is expected to assist the PSTL with the Process Safety programme for the Rumaila Operation and help champion all aspects of good Process Safety management in an aging oilfield. Essential experience and job requirements At least 15 years industry experience with 5 years in international multicultural operational roles across the full value chain of hydrocarbon and water production facilities. Experience in brownfield operations process safety engineering, reliability, modifications and strong technical leadership with influencing capabilities. An ability to work effectively with other disciplines / teams to understand and assess complex issues and develop pragmatic solutions. Proven ability in practical application of engineering standards and practices for process safety engineering. Candidate to demonstrate familiarity with all relevant industry process safety engineering codes, standards, and practices (API, ASME, ISO etc.), and relevant experience with key process safety engineering tools such as Phast, Bowtie XP, Aspen HYSYS & Flare System Analyser. The Chief Engineer will be based at one of the Amentum sites in Iraq and serve the Operations and Maintenance Support Services (OMSS) contract in support of the U.S. Department of State.The Chief Engineer is responsible for all water purification, water storage, water distribution and wastewater treatments, as well as generators, and associated power generation, transmission and distribution equipment.The Chief Engineer is also responsible for the safe operation and maintenance of power plants, generators, compressors, air conditioning systems, etc., and operates industrial machinery and equipment in various forms.The duties and responsibilities listed are representative of the nature and level of work assigned and are not necessarily all inclusive. DUTIES:<ul><li>Responsible for maintaining a safe workplace and ensuring safety is the highest priority in the workplace.</li><li>Comply with all Environmental & Safety and Quality Assurance requirements and goals.</li><li>Provide information and materials to these divisions as necessary to ensure adequate and legal documentation.</li><li>Responsible for managing, monitoring and tracking physical plant and building operations services.</li><li>Supervise and oversee the operations of the water and wastewater treatment plants to include all water quality laboratory, pumping, filtering, piping and control systems.</li><li>Ensure the viability, availability and safety of water treatment and waste distribution systems.</li><li>Maintain water well operations and water storage systems.</li><li>Manage water treatment waste stream to contractual standards.</li><li>Oversee the: Prime power and water/wastewater treatment programs; Operation, calibration, diagnostics, troubleshooting and repairs to all mechanical, electrical equipment systems and electrical/pneumatic control systems.</li><li>Preventative maintenance, condition monitoring, repair, installation and modernization of all power generation, transmission and distribution equipment on site; and Support of prime power generators made by Caterpillar, Cummins, Perkins, FG Wilson and other manufacturers, with outputs ranging from 20KW up to 160KW.</li><li>Provide daily guidance and direction to supervisors, operators, mechanics and technicians.</li><li>Perform scheduled and unscheduled inspections.</li><li>Report any malfunctions or lack of compliance with SOW to the Chief Engineer.</li><li>Assist in developing the SOW when requested, including diagrams and specifications in compliance with Overseas Building Operations (OBO), Environmental Protection Agency (EPA), Occupational Safety and Health Administration (OSHA) and National electric Code (NEC) standards.</li><li>Maintain effective, timely and respectful communication and interaction with other employees and managers and support other organizations.</li><li>Perform administrative tasks including ordering material, inventorying and scheduling work.</li><li>Manage logistics, stock levels and workflow processes.</li><li>Collect, analyze and summarize data for report preparation and submit written reports.</li><li>Maintain appropriate technical library and record keeping, which documents all procedures necessary to accomplish assigned responsibilities.</li><li>Responsible for facility custodianship of work area and management of tools, equipment and spare parts.</li><li>Take initiative to analyze situations and make frequent technical decisions based on specifications, safety and electrical codes.</li><li>Evaluate operational effectiveness and develop/maintain effective operational control mechanisms.</li><li>Responsible for allocating and managing staff resources according to changing needs</li><li>Identify problem areas and respond to mission requirements to perform task order requirements.</li><li>Plan and manage projects.</li><li>Control resources; monitor staff proficiency and qualifications; monitor the locations and activities of assets; and coordinate the flow of information to and from O&M staff and USG representatives.</li><li>Resolve physical plant and building operations issues.</li><li>Provide professional engineering guidance for all future work and technical proposals and will be responsible for drafting and presenting reports and analysis of system performance and recommendations for improvement.</li><li>Interpret all architectural, civil, structural, mechanical, electrical, plumbing, and fire system diagrams or drawings for large facilities.</li><li>Continually interface with Department of State Facility Management personnel in order to coordinate the work being completed on the equipment systems within the Utilities section and brief the customer during meetings and site surveys.</li><li>Perform additional duties and projects as assigned.</li></ul>Desired Candidate Profile<ul><li> </li></ul>

<h2 class="h5">Job description</h2> <div class="t-break" data-jb-field="description"> Title: Lead Interface Engineer Job Description Division: CSSP (Ratawi Hub – Iraq) Direction : IM Job title: Lead Interface Engineer Situation in organization Within the Project Organization, the Lead Interface Engineer is reporting to the Interface Manager Job Location(s): CPP Office (Abu Dhabi, UAE) during Detailed Engineering Phase / SITE (Iraq) during Construction Phase Job dimensions The Lead Interface Engineer shall assist the Interface Manager on the following: <ul><li>take care of the overall Management of interface and data changes between stakeholders of the Common Seawater Supply Project, and provide advice on any schedule & commercial issues arising from such interfaces and changes</li><li>ensure that Interfaces Management procedures are in place and that EPC and other contractors implement the required interface management system throughout the project duration</li></ul>The Lead Interface Engineer is anticipated to start early 2026 and will be based in Abu Dhabi (UAE). Activities The job holder shall assist the Interfaces Manager: <ul><li>with the support of the Project Management Consultant, define, implement and maintain the methodology/procedure to be applied and the corresponding database to be created, to ensure a clear and accurate identification and management of interfaces. This procedure will be as efficient and simple as possible and will be used throughout the life of the project and shall be applied by the different entities/ Contractors.</li><li>Management of interface and change data between parties, monitor and control interface and change issues, in order to resolve interface and change issues in a timely and organised manner according to the project interface and change control procedures.</li><li>Attend major interface meetings, internal and external with other entities of CSSP Project, Contractor representatives, Vendors, TotalEnergies specialists, Partner’s experts, etc. Lead interface and other technical meetings as required.</li><li>Ensure that HSE requirements are systematically considered all along the interface management process and in particular that interfaces are properly addressed during HAZID/HAZOP/PTR project audits.</li><li>Consolidate and advise the Project Director and Technical and Project Control Managers of any risks specially schedule & commercial issues arising from interfaces and changes. Shall be the coordinator of the Management of Change, providing the justification through all disciplines of the change. Ensure complete documentation of all changes, and communication of these in compliance with the processes agreed with BOC and regulatory authorities.</li><li>Preparing technical papers to support management positions for clarifications / decisions with regulatory authorities of host countries, other entities or partners.</li><li>Ensure that EPC Contractor implements required interface management system & resources and monitor throughout the project duration that EPC Contractor honours its responsibilities as defined in the project interface procedure.</li><li>Ensure the implementation of interface changes/optimisations resulting from negotiations of the external interfaces.</li><li>Together with Project Management Consultant, ensure design consistency and continuity throughout the facilities.</li><li>Avoid change orders and delays caused by interface issues; ensure timely follow-up of interface issues.</li><li>Assist the Project Management Consultant, prior to and during construction phase, by anticipating operational interfaces with other parties (clashes or conflicting program).</li><li>In case of SIMOPS (phased delivery of the plant): propose solutions and participate to definition and resolution.</li></ul>Context and environment Basrah Oil Company (BOC) is undertaking the Seawater Treatment Facilities (STF) project to provide treated seawater to the oil fields in southern Iraq (for injection). The STF will be located on the west side of the Khor Al Zubair, upstream of the port of Umm Qasr and will have the following key components: <ul><li>Site development and non-process facilities.</li><li>Ancillaries and buildings.</li><li>Seawater intake and outfall structures.</li><li>Material off-loading facility.</li><li>Seawater clarification, filtration and deoxygenating processes.</li><li>Chemical addition systems.</li><li>Shipping pumps.</li><li>Power Generation.</li><li>Utilities.</li></ul>FEED was completed (June 2016) with Phase 1 capacity of 7.5 million barrels of water per day (MMBWPD) of treated seawater, with a subsequent Phase 2 of 5 MMBWPD for a total buildout capacity of 12.5 MMBWPD. The project was placed on hold upon the completion of FEED. In 2018 BOC launched a call for tender on the FEED, but instructed bidders to reduce capacity to 5.0 MMBWPD, with provision for a future addition of 2.5 MMBWPD for a total build-out phase of 7.5 MMBWPD. Accountabilities <ul><li>Accountable for the interfaces and MoC, being internal (between units, disciplines, PMT, One Tech and Specialists) or external (between other CSSP Projects, Contractors, COMPANY, etc…). The job holder coordinates all interface and MoC matters, protecting the WI Project and COMPANY’s position with regards to all external interfaces and to internal interfaces between Contractors, and ensuring that changes are evaluated and executed for the overall benefit of the Project.</li><li>Accordingly, the job holder shall make the necessary coordination between all involved Contractors/parties and Company Teams and implement an agreed interface management procedure and methodology. She/He shall ensure the proper and timely follow-up and resolution of interfaces issues between the various involved parties documents. She/He must support the Interface Manager to ensure full control of the Management of Change process, and shall document all the changes, taking care to perform a full review with various disciplines with Project aspects to justify or reject the change.</li><li>A key aspect of interface coordination is the ability to effectively communicate, across all involved parties, all details related to an interface, including requirements, technical specifications, and potential issues. It is important that the communication channel is promptly established, the proper information is exchanged, and all involved parties acknowledge that they fully understand the interface requirements.</li><li>The nature of the development might call for a “staged” delivery of the facilities. The Chief Engineer will be based at one of the Amentum sites in Iraq and serve the Operations and Maintenance Support Services (OMSS) contract in support of the U.S. Department of State. The Chief Engineer is responsible for all water purification, water storage, water distribution and wastewater treatments, as well as generators, and associated power generation, transmission and distribution equipment. The Chief Engineer is also responsible for the safe operation and maintenance of power plants, generators, compressors, air conditioning systems, etc., and operates industrial machinery and equipment in various forms.DUTIES:<ul><li>Responsible for maintaining a safe workplace and ensuring safety is the highest priority in the workplace.</li><li>Comply with all Environmental & Safety and Quality Assurance requirements and goals. Provide information and materials to these divisions as necessary to ensure adequate and legal documentation.</li><li>Responsible for managing, monitoring and tracking physical plant and building operations services.</li><li>Supervise and oversee the operations of the water and wastewater treatment plants to include all water quality laboratory, pumping, filtering, piping and control systems.</li><li>Ensure the viability, availability and safety of water treatment and waste distribution systems.</li><li>Maintain water well operations and water storage systems.</li><li>Manage water treatment waste stream to contractual standards.</li><li>Oversee the:</li><ul><li>Prime power and water/wastewater treatment programs;</li><li>Operation, calibration, diagnostics, troubleshooting and repairs to all mechanical, electrical equipment systems and electrical/pneumatic control systems.</li><li>Preventative maintenance, condition monitoring, repair, installation and modernization of all power generation, transmission and distribution equipment on site; and</li><li>Support of prime power generators made by Caterpillar, Cummins, Perkins, FG Wilson and other manufacturers, with outputs ranging from 20KW up to 160KW.</li></ul><li>Provide daily guidance and direction to supervisors, operators, mechanics and technicians.</li><li>Perform scheduled and unscheduled inspections.</li><li>Report any malfunctions or lack of compliance with SOW to the Chief Engineer.</li><li>Assist in developing the SOW when requested, including diagrams and specifications in compliance with Overseas Building Operations (OBO), Environmental Protection Agency (EPA), Occupational Safety and Health Administration (OSHA) and National electric Code (NEC) standards.</li><li>Maintain effective, timely and respectful communication and interaction with other employees and managers and support other organizations.</li><li>Perform administrative tasks including ordering material, inventorying and scheduling work.</li><li>Manage logistics, stock levels and workflow processes.</li><li>Collect, analyze and summarize data for report preparation and submit written reports.</li><li>Maintain appropriate technical library and record keeping, which documents all procedures necessary to accomplish assigned responsibilities.</li><li>Responsible for facility custodianship of work area and management of tools, equipment and spare parts.</li><li>Take initiative to analyze situations and make frequent technical decisions based on specifications, safety and electrical codes.</li><li>Evaluate operational effectiveness and develop/maintain effective operational control mechanisms.</li><li>Responsible for allocating and managing staff resources according to changing needs</li><li>Identify problem areas and respond to mission requirements to perform task order requirements.</li><li>Plan and manage projects.</li><li>Control resources;
