The intervention is part of a broader Ecosystem-Based Adaptation (EbA) approach to address water scarcity, land degradation, and pressures on local livelihoods.</p><br><p>As part of this effort, the project will pilot zero tillage practices on selected agricultural lands. Approximately 3–4 plots (each 3–5 Iraqi dunams) will be identified in collaboration with local farmers, who will voluntarily allocate portions of their land for demonstration purposes.</p><br><p>The selected consultant will provide specialized technical support for the design, pilot implementation, and capacity-building activities related to zero tillage practices in the targeted area. <p>The GSE Electrician Technician is responsible for performing electrical preventive, corrective, and emergency maintenance on all Ground Support Equipment across the airport. This includes 12V/24V/48V DC systems, AC electrical systems, control panels, sensors, alternators, starters, wiring harnesses, ECUs, and electrical components related to diesel/electric GSE. The candidate should be capable of independently diagnosing and repairing faults while ensuring equipment availability, operational reliability, and compliance with airport safety standards. Education: Diploma in Electrical Engineering Technology or Automotive Electrical Systems. <p>&nbsp;The Consultant will provide time-bound specialized technical expertise to support the implementation of specific Intelligence-Led Policing (ILP) capacity-building activities under the project Supporting Community Engagement and Policing in Iraq Phase II , led by the Community Engagement and Policing (CEP) unit of IOM Iraq. The objective of this project is to strengthen public trust and confidence in Iraq s security institutions by enhancing accountable, inclusive, and community-responsive policing practices in areas of return and border regions. The project focuses on two primary pillars: i) increase Iraq s security agencies legitimacy and accountability in areas of return and border areas through an increased professionalization of police and border guards and mainstream of CEP approaches across different Directorates within the MoI; and ii) strengthen the CP community outreach, especially amongst women, through the CP Women Empowerment and Protection (WEP) Action Plan, to ensure rights-based stabilization interventions that respond to the needs of communities. The required expertise in prevention-oriented Intelligence-Led Policing (ILP), intelligence development frameworks, police analytical systems, and operationalization of risk analysis methodologies is not currently available within IOM Iraq. The engagement of an external consultant is therefore required to provide specialized technical knowledge, support the development of practical tools and procedures, and strengthen the capacity of the Community Policing Directorate and relevant Ministry of Interior counterparts to establish sustainable prevention-oriented ILP approaches. <p>The Aircraft Mechanic II - Avionics performs aircraft maintenance to include inspection, operational test, repair, modification and replacement of aircraft electrical / avionics systems and components. Applies technical knowledge and skills to troubleshoot electrical / avionics discrepancies. Essential Responsibilities: • Possess in-depth knowledge of applicable maintenance/technical manuals and publications, and special tools and test equipment.
