These include world-class licensed process technologies, differentiated advisory services, deep technical domain expertise, energy transition solutions, high-end design and engineering capabilities, and smart solutions to optimize planned and operating assets."</b></p><br><br><br><br><p><b>JOB DESCRIPTION - Construction Supervisor – Civil</b></p><br><br><p><b>Company : KBR Iraq</b></p><br><br><p><b>Iraqi Nationals Preferred</b></p><br><br><br><p>KBR is looking for <b><span>Civil Construction Supervisor</span></b> for 28/28 rotation to be based in Iraq.</p><br><br><br><p><b><span>Accountabilities/Expectations:</span></b></p><br><br><br><ul><li>Single Point Responsible for the safe execution of the defined work scope in the plant area.</li><li>Understand and be responsible for managing the site safety rules for the defined plant area.</li><li>Will understand and be responsible for the scope to be executed including all the interfaces and safety requirements.</li><li>The work scope can be a complete new multi discipline area or a single discipline scope passing through numerous operational areas. Clear Communication and understanding between operations and the construction team is paramount. The scope is managed, controlled and risk assessed by the Permit to work.</li><li>Can be the responsible for managing a dedicated contractor work force in the area or be part of integrated team managing a combined resourced <span>construction/commissioning</span> team.</li><li>Participate in site safety audits regarding work execution, permits, work site standards and workforce knowledge of the work.</li><li>Ensure a fully briefed workforce and operational staff including valid permits and risk assessments.</li><li>Ensure accurate progress reporting of physical scope completion not based on man-hour estimate.</li><li>Ensure raising technical queries associated with site design/ operational changes.</li><li>Ensure planning mobilization of vendors to ensure minimal NPT for these expensive personnel.</li><li>Responsible for minimizing NPT of work execution by ensuring, scope preparation is completed before mobilization of main work force, material is on site, design scopes are approved and are understood is on site, surveys have been completed to confirm proposed execution is doable</li><li>Timely approval of construction work packs and associated Safety Certificates as AE.</li><li>Participate in jointly walk downs of systems for handover to commissioning and Operations.</li><li>Support to commissioning department for functional commissioning.</li><li>Ensure all action items as stipulated by Interface and SIMOPs MOUs with external entities and internal disciplines.</li></ul><br><p>E<b><span>ducation</span></b></p><br><br><ul><li>Bachelors or Diploma degree., i.e. Civil</li></ul><br><p><b><span>Experience and Skill set</span></b></p><br><br><br><ul><li>Minimum 5 years’ experience in Oil and Gas related projects</li><li>Minimum 3 years’ experience in Oil and Gas Project Delivery in a multidiscipline workforce</li><li>Strong leadership and teambuilding skills</li><li>Supervisory experience</li><li>Fluent English skills</li></ul><br><br><br><br><br> </div>

This role ensures safe, reliable, and compliant operation of electrical systems supporting production facilities, camps, utilities, and critical infrastructure. Superintendent provides technical leadership, oversees site execution, and ensures alignment with KBR standards, client requirements.</p><br><br><br><p><b>Accountability / Expectations</b></p><br><br><ul><li>Oversee daily operation, maintenance, and troubleshooting of power generation units, HV/LV distribution networks, switchgear, transformers, MCCs, and protection systems.</li><li>Ensure electrical systems operate within design parameters, safety limits, and reliability targets.</li><li>Lead fault investigations, root‑cause analysis, and corrective action implementation.</li><li>Manage preventive and predictive maintenance programs to minimize downtime and extend asset life.</li><li>Provide expert guidance on electrical engineering standards, power system design, and safe work practices.</li><li>Ensure full compliance with KBR HSSE, electrical regulations, and international codes.</li><li>Review and approve electrical work permits, isolation plans, energization procedures, and switching operations.</li><li>Maintain accurate documentation, single line diagrams, load studies, and equipment records.</li><li>Coordinate electrical construction, installation, commissioning, and upgrade activities across the field.</li><li>Interface with engineering, construction, commissioning, and operations teams to ensure technical alignment.</li><li>Verify contractor performance, quality of workmanship, and adherence to specifications.</li><li>Support integration of new facilities into the existing power network.</li><li>Supervise electrical supervisors, technicians, and contractors across multiple site locations.</li><li>Ensure competency development, training, and mentoring of Iraqi national workforce.</li><li>Promote a strong safety culture and enforce compliance with electrical safety rules and LOTO procedures.</li><li>Liaise with Operations, Maintenance, HSSE, and Planning departments to ensure seamless power support for field activities.</li><li>Monitor power system performance, load demand, and energy efficiency opportunities.</li><li>Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly reports on electrical system status, outages, and maintenance KPIs.</li></ul><br><p><b>Education</b></p><br><br><p>Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering</p><br><br><br><p><b>Experience</b></p><br><br><p>10+ years experience in electrical power systems within oil & gas, petrochemical, or heavy industrial environments.</p><br><br><br><ul><li>Strong knowledge of HV/LV systems, generators, protection relays, SCADA, and industrial electrical equipment.</li><li>Proven experience in site‑based leadership roles (Superintendent, Supervisor, Lead Engineer).</li><li>Demonstrated ability to manage multi disciplinary teams in remote field environments.</li></ul><br><br><br><br> </div>
