<p>The commercial Team Leader (TL) supports and assists the Regional Security and Operations Manager (RSOM), Southern Iraq in the day-to-day management of region-wide commercial operations and specified projects. The commercial TL has a major impact on how potential clients assess the capabilities of Control Risks and as such is responsible for setting and maintaining the highest standards of team presentation and capability. The commercial TL will be supporting an international client base that spans across oilfield services, seismic exploration, infrastructure, diplomatic and financial services sectors. Responsible for the professional delivery of operational briefs to both Armed Protection Teams (APTs) and client staff when appropriate. Conduct venue and route surveys, security reviews and be able to produce bespoke reports. Plan and execute tasks to remote areas and locations outside normal area of operations. Provide cover to the project armed protection team contingent as and when required. Management Responsibilities To conduct certifiable instruction in all relevant operational and medical team requirements in accordance with current Control Risks training directives. Responsible for deputising in the absence of DOM South, assisting with the coordination of all operational activity within the region ensuring business continuity to the operations department. Work closely with the operational management team to assist with the delivery of regional operational activities as required, including APT QA/QCs, by the organisational quality management system. Work closely with the operational management team and regional departments to assists with all new commercial team mobilisations in support of operational requirements To ensure that the HQ teams conducts effective administration to include vehicle maintenance, equipment husbandry / accountability and reports and return. <p><h4>Job description</h4>
<p>The operations manager will be based at one of the three Amentum sites in Iraq and serve the Operations and Maintenance Support Services (OMSS) contract in support of the U.S. Department of State. This position will be responsible for taking ownership of all site operational responsibilities to include directing the daily performance of the organization, planning, scheduling and training processes to meet the requirements of the contract. This position will report to the OMSS program manager. The duties and responsibilities listed below are representative of the nature and level of work assigned and are not necessarily all inclusive.</p>
<h4>Duties:</h4>
<ul>
<li>Responsible for maintaining a safe workplace and ensuring that safety is the highest priority in the workplace.</li>
<li>Comply with all environmental health & safety and quality assurance requirements and goals.</li>
<li>Provide information and materials to these divisions as necessary to ensure adequate and legal documentation.</li>
<li>Act as the program manager’s principal operations representative.</li>
<li>Responsible for the management of all O&M functions, including ensuring there are qualified personnel to meet staffing requirements, and the central planning, coordination, control, and actual performance of these functions.</li>
<li>Manage the O&M and other assigned functions on site to ensure overall contract performance, which requires getting information to and from critical operating/supporting elements and directing/coordinating actions to ensure resources are fully utilized to properly perform the mission.</li>
<li>Monitor system readiness, identify problem areas, and respond to mission requirements to perform contract requirements.</li>
<li>Direct and monitor the preventive maintenance program; accept, process, coordinate, and assign work orders, projects, and large task assignments.</li>
<li>Control resources; monitor staff proficiency and qualifications; monitor staff endurance; monitor the locations and activities of assets; and coordinate the flow of information to and from O&M staff.</li>
<li>Perform additional duties and projects as assigned.</li>

<h4>Required:</h4>

Ten (10) years’ O&M experience compatible with program requirements.</p>

<p><strong>Passport, licenses and certifications:</strong> As part of pre-contingency requirements, by the time the visa process starts, candidates must possess a valid passport with a minimum of 18 months remaining to expiration date with 8 blank pages. Valid drivers’ license.</p>
<p><strong>Security vetting:</strong> Must be able to obtain and maintain a secret US government clearance. Note: US citizenship is required to obtain a secret clearance.</p>
