<p>KBR is seeking motivated Iraqi national graduates to join the IFMS project at Majnoon Oil Field as Technology Development Associates. This is an entry-level position that provides a structured development pathway into the disciplines of Information Management (IM), Information Technology (IT), Digital Solutions, Cyber Security, Applications, Data Management, Operational Technology, and SAP.</p>

<p>The Superintendent Power is responsible for leading, supervising, and coordinating all electrical power generation, distribution, and maintenance activities across the Majnoon Oil Field. This role ensures safe, reliable, and compliant operation of electrical systems supporting production facilities, camps, utilities, and critical infrastructure. Superintendent provides technical leadership, oversees site execution, and ensures alignment with KBR standards and client requirements.</p>

<section><p class="heading jdMain">Job Description</p><p class="heading">Roles & Responsibilities</p><div class="paragraph"><p>We are recruiting for a Site NDT QC Inspector with the following details</p><br><p>Location: Basra, Iraq </p><p>Work Scheme : Rotational 28 days ON and 28 days OFF </p><p>Planned Start Date : Sept 2026 </p><p>Duration : 2 years, extendable </p><br><p>Missions:</p><ul><li><p>The QC NDT Inspector is responsible for supervising, coordinating, and controlling all Non-Destructive Testing (NDT) activities performed by Contractors and Subcontractors within the Project – CPF2 Package. </p></li><li><p>He ensures that all NDT activities are executed in full compliance with project specifications, approved procedures, international codes, and contractual requirements. </p></li><li><p>The position reports directly to the CPF2 Site QC Superintendent and works closely with QC Welding PVV, QC Welding Structural, QC Piping, QC Mechanical, QC Civil/Structural, and Contractor/Subcontractor NDT teams. </p></li></ul></div></section><section><p class="heading">Desired Candidate Profile</p><p class="paragraph"></p><ul><li><p>Minimum 10 years of experience in <strong><u>NDT QC </u></strong>on major Oil & Gas EPC projects.</p></li><li><p>Strong experience with piping, pressure vessels, and structural NDT.</p></li><li><p>Experience on CPF, refinery, or large industrial facilities strongly preferred.</p></li><li><p>Technical competencies:</p></li><li><p>Strong knowledge of NDT methods and acceptance criteria; PCN Level 2/3 certification will be evaluated as a significant asset</p></li><li><p>Strong understanding of ASME, API, AWS, ISO 9712, and project specifications.</p></li><li><p>Ability to interpret NDT reports, weld maps, and technical drawings.</p></li><li><p>Knowledge of weld repair cycles and re-inspection requirements.</p></li><li><p>Understanding of NCR, deviation, and concession processes.</p></li><li><p>Familiarity with digital QC systems (Aconex, SharePoint, SmartPlant, etc.) is a plus.</p></li></ul><p></p></section>
<p><h4>Job description</h4>
<p>The superintendent is responsible for leading, coordinating, and supervising all site construction activities across oil & gas and water infrastructure projects within the Majnoon oil field. This role ensures safe execution, compliance with project specifications, alignment with KBR standards, and delivery of work packages on schedule. The superintendent acts as the primary interface between field crews, subcontractors, and project management, ensuring operational discipline and high-quality workmanship.</p>
<h4>Accountability / expectations</h4>
<ul>
<li>Direct and supervise daily construction activities for oil & gas facilities, pipelines, water treatment systems, and associated civil works.</li>
<li>Manage multi-disciplinary site teams including civil, mechanical, piping, electrical, and water project crews.</li>
<li>Coordinate work fronts, manpower allocation, equipment usage, and material availability to maintain progress.</li>
<li>Ensure all work is executed in accordance with IFC drawings, project specifications, and KBR procedures.</li>
<li>Enforce KBR HSSE policies and site safety rules, lead by example in promoting a strong safety culture.</li>
<li>Conduct site inspections, and hazard identification activities.</li>
<li>Ensure all permits to work (PTW) are properly issued, controlled, and closed.</li>
<li>Support incident investigations and implement corrective actions.</li>
<li>Monitor construction quality and ensure compliance with project standards and client requirements.</li>
<li>Review and interpret drawings, method statements, and technical documents.</li>
<li>Raise and resolve technical queries (TQs) with engineering teams when required.</li>
<li>Ensure proper documentation of inspections, test records, and completion certificates.</li>
<li>Track daily progress, productivity, and resource utilization; report deviations promptly.</li>
<li>Prepare daily/weekly site reports, progress updates, and look-ahead plans.</li>
<li>Coordinate with planning and project controls to maintain accurate schedules and forecasts.</li>
<li>Oversee subcontractor performance, ensuring adherence to scope, quality, and safety requirements.</li>
<li>Validate subcontractor work completion for invoicing and progress measurement.</li>
<li>Resolve site-level conflicts and interface issues between contractors and disciplines.</li>
<li>Ensure timely availability of materials, tools, and equipment at work fronts.</li>
<li>Coordinate with warehouse, procurement, and logistics teams for site needs.</li>
<li>Supervise construction of water treatment units, pumping stations, pipelines, and utility networks.</li>
<li>Ensure compliance with water project standards, environmental requirements, and testing protocols.</li>
<li>Oversee hydrotesting, flushing, commissioning support, and handover documentation.</li>
</ul>
<h4>Education</h4>
<p>Bachelor’s degree or diploma in engineering (civil, mechanical, or related field).</p>
<h4>Experience</h4>
<ul>
<li>10+ years experience in oil & gas construction, experience in water infrastructure projects.</li>
<li>Strong knowledge of HSSE systems, PTW, SIMOPS, and field execution in live oilfield environments.</li>
<li>Proven leadership experience managing large site teams and subcontractors.</li>
<li>Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings and technical documents.</li>
