The role is accountable for providing Quality and inspection resources, systems, and processes to support Pre-order and Post order, Procurement activities for various projects:</p><br><ul> <li>Promotion of both the WOOD &amp; Client Core values.</li> <li>Prepare and review bid documentation and give input to the tender team regarding scope, and planning.</li> <li>Provide technical input to the procurement group and evaluation of RFQs and Material requestions.</li> <li>Review and provide input into technical bid evaluations.</li> <li>Support in reviewing project technical queries and specification deviation requests.</li> <li>Review company specifications, project documents, and scope of work requirements.</li> <li>Check and review the documents of the I&amp;C equipment including transmitters, valves, and control systems.</li> <li>Check and review the Electrical documents of the HV and LV electrical equipment.</li> <li>Check and review supplier/vendor-related project documentation including ITPs and procedures,</li> <li>Interface with other disciplines, vendors, and the E&amp;I engineering team.</li> <li>Assist package engineers with the E&amp;I activities in the design of equipment, component, and process systems.</li> <li>Participate in the KOM &amp; PIM and all the post-orders meetings.</li> <li>Establish appropriate call-off arrangements with 3rd party inspection agencies.</li> <li>Assign competent, qualified, and appropriately experienced inspectors to inspection assignments.</li> <li>Coordinate vendor's/suppliers’ product/material inspection activities.</li> <li>Prepare and provide inspection package documents and deliver them to third-party inspectors.</li> <li>Plan and participate in external/internal projects and vendors/ suppliers’ inspections.</li> <li>Manage and raise vendors’ inspection requests and maintain the inspection assignment register.</li> <li>Participate in Mechanical completion walkdown and FAT, completing ITR, recording punch(s) and follow-up for its closure.</li> <li>Ensure fabrication carried out in the manufacturer facilities meets the specifications, international codes, and standards.&nbsp;</li> <li>Review inspection outputs and highlight areas of concern.</li> <li>Report inspection queries, deficiencies &amp; punch list items, and NCRs identified by inspectors Report&nbsp;</li> <li>Facilitate the recall, quarantine, and replacement of defective products/materials.</li> <li>Support lead QA/QC for corrective actions by approving new actions and verifying action closure.</li> <li>Support in carrying out root cause analysis of project nonconformities.</li> <li>Ensure the closure of Quality requirements for project closeout and provide input to project lessons learned.</li> <li>Control all quality documentation during &amp; upon completion of the Project.</li> <li>Upload the inspection reports and releases to the document management system.</li> <li>Check and review the E&amp;I vendor manufacturing records books (MRB).</li> <li>Review and approve 3rd-party inspection invoices.</li> <li>Liaise with the Client Quality representative as appropriate.</li> <li>Capture client feedback and monitor resulting improvement actions.</li> <li>Conduct all activities safely and efficiently and follow the company’s HSE policies and procedures.</li></ul><br>Qualifications:<br><p><strong>What makes you remarkable?&nbsp;</strong></p><br><p>At Wood, we are committed to equal opportunities and welcome all talented individuals to consider joining our team.
