May assist in specific on-the-job training, guidance, and orientation for newly assigned or lower seniority employees. Responsible for care of Government equipment, tools, property and materials to assure that they are properly maintained and safeguarded. Performs specific tasks in accordance with verbal and/or written instructions and observes safety, fire, health, and work rules. Coordinates with members of other activities to insure quality and timely and efficient accomplishment of assigned duties. Familiar with a variety of the field’s concepts, practices and procedures. Leads and directs the work of cooks and other workers engaged in preparing and cooking foodstuffs. Performs other duties and assignments as required. Qualifications + Minimum Qualifications: Education/Certifications: One-year related experience may be substituted for one year of education, if degree is required. + Undergraduate Degree + ServSafe Certification or Food Service Certification approved under ANSI-CFP accredited programs and/or approved under the Tri Service Food Code guidelines. + OCN Qualifications/Experience Requirements: + Undergraduate Degree + One-year related experience may be substituted for one year of education, if degree is required, but must have a high school diploma or equivalent. + Must provide a copy of the diploma. + ServSafe Certification or Food Service Certification approved under ANSI-CFP accredited programs and/or approved under the Tri Service Food Code guidelines + Minimum of 5 years of experience in as a Sous Chef and a minimum of 2 years in Leadership Must be able to read write and speak English fluently. + Skills: + Must read, write, and speak English fluently + Working Conditions: + Must be capable of working in an extreme weather conditions with temperatures exceeding 120 degrees Fahrenheit. + Indoor and/or outdoor environment with very adverse and harsh conditions (i.e., hot, dry, dusty, desert environment with average temperatures of 30 degrees in the winter and 130 degrees in the summer months). + Includes some industrial production environment conditions as well + Physical Requirements: + Light work. Exerting up to 20 pounds of force occasionally, and/or up to 10 pounds of force frequently, and/or a negligible amount of force constantly to move objects. If the use of arm and/or leg controls requires exertion of forces greater than that for sedentary work and the worker sits most of the time, the job is rated for light work. + Employee use of personal protective equipment (PPE) is required for some situations. Must be knowledgeable of laws governing the application of controlled and non-controlled pesticides and herbicides. Coordinates work/inspections with facility managers/occupants. Researches materials, and prepares necessary documents. Responds to emergency service calls during regular hours or after-duty on-call hours. At a minimum, must have either a commercial/non-commercial or Department of Defense certified applicator license. Primary certification must be for Industrial, Institutional, and Household Pest Control. Other certifications can come from the following (listed in the preferred order): Ornamental and Turf Pest Control, Wood-Destroying Organisms Pest Control, Aquatic Pest Control, Public Health Pest Control: GROUND, and Right-of-Way Pest Control. + Applicants are required to have three (3) years of Pest Control experience, be knowledgeable of laws governing the application of controlled and non-controlled pesticides and herbicides with enough experience to obtain a Department of Defense certified applicator license if classes become available to the Task Order Iraq OCN Vector employees. + Primary certification must be for Industrial, Institutional, and Household Pest Control. All deliverables shall be submitted electronically in editable Microsoft Office formats (Word, Excel and PowerPoint, as applicable) and PDF. Final reports and policy documents shall be submitted in both editable and PDF versions, together with all supporting datasets, analytical tables, presentations, and source files. Position: Principal Well Engineer <br> Department: Wells<br> Location: Basra, Iraq<br> Duration: 12 months renewable <br> Rotation: 28/28<br> <br> <strong>Role synopsis</strong> <br> <br> The Principal Well Engineer reports to the Well Engineering Manager (WEM). The role will be responsible for supplying well engineering and well operation support across the Wells department. Responsibilities include the development and implementation of a bespoke Wells Management System (WMS), engineering and management of integrated well engineering projects across the drilling, workover and well services functions as well as providing peer review and guidance to the wider WE community.<br> <br> The individual shall have a broad experience base across drilling, workover and well services with a main experience base in one or more of these areas.
