<p>The commercial Team Leader (TL) supports and assists the Operations Manager, Baghdad in the day-to-day management of region-wide commercial operations and specified projects. The commercial TL has a major impact on how potential clients assess the capabilities of Control Risks and as such is responsible for setting and maintaining the highest standards of team presentation and capability. The commercial TL will be supporting an international client base that spans across oil and gas, humanitarian, infrastructure, diplomatic and financial services sectors amongst others.</p><p><strong>Rotation:</strong> 8 weeks on / 4 weeks off</p><p><strong>Role tasks and responsibilities</strong></p><p><strong>Operational Responsibilities</strong></p><ul><li>Ensure that all HQ teams meet operational and training standards with assistance from the training team and that the team is fully compliant with Control Risks Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs).</li><li>Ensure the teams display client etiquette, discipline and Control Risks low-profile approach whilst maintaining a high standard of team presentation.</li><li>Responsible for the professional delivery of operational briefs to both Armed Protection Teams (APTs) and client staff when appropriate.</li><li>Understanding of Iraq s geo-political landscape and Control Risks wider operations.</li><li>Assist in the conduct of risk assessments and operational planning.</li><li>Conduct venue and route surveys, security reviews and be able to produce bespoke reports.</li><li>Plan and execute tasks to remote areas and locations outside normal area of operations.</li><li>Provide cover to the project armed protection team contingent as and when required.</li></ul><p><strong>Management Responsibilities</strong></p><ul><li>To conduct certifiable instruction in all relevant operational and medical team requirements in accordance with current Control Risks training directives, both to HQ teams as well as client dedicated teams.</li><li>Responsible for deputising in the absence of Ops Manager Baghdad and Baghdad Security Manager, assisting with the coordination of all operational activity within the region ensuring business continuity to the operations department.</li><li>Work closely with the operational management team to assist with the delivery of regional operational activities as required, including APT QA/QCs, by the organisational quality management system.</li><li>Work closely with the operational management team and regional departments to assists with all new commercial team mobilisations in support of operational requirements</li><li>To ensure that the HQ and Baghdad based dedicated teams conducts effective administration to include vehicle maintenance, equipment husbandry / accountability and reports and return.</li><li>Assist and oversee with the management of temporary staff and all IN HR administration.</li><li>Responsible for the oversight and enforcements of HSE standards across HQ and Baghdad based dedicated teams.</li></ul><p><strong>Desired Candidate Profile</strong></p><ul><li>Minimum 4 years military, armed police service or equivalent.</li><li>Minimum of 3 years Iraq APT operational experience as a Team Leader in Iraq.</li><li>Minimum of 1 years APT operational experience in Baghdad.</li><li>FREC/FPOS/AoFAQ medical qualification.</li><li>Minimum security licensing SIA (frontline) close protection qualified.</li><li>Competent and confident in the use of Microsoft Office products.</li><li>Attendance on an internationally regarded military Non-Commissioned Officer or similar organisational command and leadership course such as the British Army Section Commanders Battle Course (or higher).</li><li>Previous experience working within southern headquarters and an understanding of existing department roles.</li><li>Previous experience operating in the wider Iraq environment.</li><li>Security and risk management certification.</li><li>HSE qualification.</li><li>Certified training instructor CTTLS, PTLLS or equivalent BTEC</li></ul>
<p>The Disposal operator will be based at Amentum Baghdad Embassy Compound (BEC) in Baghdad, Iraq, and serve the Base Life Support Services contract in support of the State Department. This position will report to the Disposal Yard Manager.</p><p>The duties and responsibilities listed below are representative of the nature and level of work assigned and are not necessarily all inclusive.</p><p>DUTIES:</p><ul><li>Responsible for maintaining a safe workplace and ensuring that safety is the highest priority in the workplace.</li><li>Comply with all Environmental Health & Safety and Quality Assurance requirements and goals.</li><li>Provide information and materials to these divisions as necessary to ensure adequate and legal documentation.</li><li>Ensures data accuracy members.</li></ul><p>Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:</p><ul><li>Prior proven experience in Property Disposal operations with Defense Reutilization</li><li>Experience operating heavy equipment to include up to a 30K Forklift, Extended reach Forklift, Material Handler, Grappler (Excavator), Front End Loader and Material Shredders.</li><li>Experience with cutting torches to include Plasma cutters.</li><li>Commitment to maintaining a high-performance team which delivers customer service excellence.</li><li>Knowledge of principles and processes involved in supporting contract <p>Remove and install aircraft subsystem assemblies and components such as engines, rotors, transmissions, mechanical flight controls and their components.<br>
Service and lubricate aircraft and subsystems.<br>
Safely prepare aircraft for inspections and maintenance checks and services.<br>
Perform scheduled inspections and assist in performing special inspections.<br>
Perform limited maintenance operational checks and diagnose and troubleshoot aircraft systems using special tools and test equipment as required.<br>
Use and perform operator maintenance on tools, special tools, and aircraft ground support equipment.<br>
Apply comprehensive technical expertise to solve moderate to complex problems by interpreting technical documentation such as aircraft technical manuals, maintenance information and action messages, and all technical guidance provided through government official representatives.<br>
Maintain and repair aircraft components including but not limited to flight controls, engines, hydraulics, pneumatics, fuel systems, and mechanical components.<br>
Apply technical knowledge of airframe and power plant systems in determining equipment malfunctions and use required expertise in restoring equipment condition and/or operation.<br>
Participate in maintenance test flights and operation checks as required.<br>

<h4>Minimum requirements</h4>
<p>High school diploma or equivalent required.<br>
Three (3) or more years aviation maintenance experience within the past five (5) years on the (MDS)-UH60.<br>
OR FAA A&P license AND two (2) years of aviation maintenance experience within the past five (5) years on the (MDS)-UH60.<br>
U.S. military technical school or specialized training course is desired; certification of education level is required.<br>
Must be in possession of a valid U.S. passport valid for 2 years at the time of hiring and be able to travel internationally.<br>
Must be able to obtain and maintain facility public trust NAC-I. <strong>Note: US citizenship is required for facility public trust NAC-I at this work location.</strong><br>
Must be able to clear CENTCOM MOD physical requirements for deployment training (will be required to attend CRC (DIDC)).<br>
Must be able to obtain Iraq visa.</p>
<h4>Knowledge and skills</h4>
<p>Thorough knowledge of aircraft mechanical component troubleshooting, repair procedures, and replacement of parts.<br>
Broad knowledge of aircraft sheet metal/structural modifications and repair.<br>
Basic knowledge of electrical theory and a thorough knowledge of aircraft unique tools such as test equipment, torque wrenches, dial indicators, micrometers, sheet metal brakes, and shears.<br>
Working knowledge of technical publications and logistics information systems.<br>
Able to prioritize workloads to maintain schedules on assigned projects and may be required to lead teams through more complex aircraft relevant tasks.<br>
Participate in maintenance test flights and operation checks as required.<br>
Possess the level of experience to inspect all required aeronautical type maintenance to be performed by mechanics.<br>
