<p>SRD Center is seeking a qualified Quantitative Research / Statistics / Sampling Expert to support a mixed-methods research assignment focusing on migration dynamics, potential migration, information needs, migration intentions, and related socio-economic factors in Iraq. The assignment will involve face-to-face quantitative interviews with potential migrants, internally displaced persons and other relevant respondent groups. Approximately 1,000 1,200 interviews will be conducted using a Computer-Assisted Personal Interviewing (CAPI) system. <p>SRD Center is recruiting qualified Enumerators / Interviewers to support a large-scale field research assignment in Baghdad and Basra. The assignment will involve face-to-face quantitative interviews with potential migrants, internally displaced persons and other relevant respondent groups. Approximately 1,000 1,200 interviews will be conducted using a Computer-Assisted Personal Interviewing (CAPI) system. Enumerators will receive training on the questionnaire, sampling procedures, interviewing techniques, research ethics, informed consent, data protection, and use of the electronic data collection platform before beginning fieldwork.</p><p>Tasks: Enumerators / Interviewers will be responsible for:</p><ul><li>Participate fully in mandatory enumerator training.</li><li>Participate in questionnaire pre-testing and pilot interviews.</li><li>Become familiar with the questionnaire, respondent selection procedures, and survey methodology.</li><li>Conduct face-to-face interviews with selected respondents in assigned locations.</li><li>Administer questionnaires electronically using smartphones, tablets, or other CAPI devices.</li><li>Follow the sampling and respondent-selection procedures provided by the research team.</li><li>Explain the purpose of the research clearly and professionally to potential respondents.</li><li>Obtain informed consent before conducting interviews.</li><li>Ensure respondent privacy, confidentiality, and respectful treatment.</li><li>Accurately record respondents' answers without interpretation or alteration.</li><li>Ensure that all mandatory questions are completed correctly.</li><li>Review completed questionnaires before submission.</li><li>Upload survey data according to established procedures.</li><li>Maintain regular communication with the Field Coordinator/Supervisor.</li><li>Immediately report difficulties, refusals, safety concerns, or technical problems.</li><li>Participate in daily briefings and debriefings when required.</li><li>Respond to quality-control questions or requests for clarification from supervisors.</li><li>Follow all data protection, ethical, safeguarding, and confidentiality procedures.</li><li>Achieve agreed daily interview targets while maintaining data quality.</li><li>Perform other reasonable field research tasks assigned by the Field Coordinator.</li></ul><p><strong>Desired Candidate Profile</strong></p><h2>Qualifications:</h2><p>Candidates should have:</p><ul><li>Diploma, university degree, or current university studies in social sciences, statistics, economics, business, development studies, sociology, or another relevant area.
