Vendor and Partner Evaluation Evaluate AI vendors, cloud AI services, local models, open source frameworks, and specialized fintech AI solutions. Run structured vendor assessments covering technical fit, security, data residency, cost, integration effort, support, and long term sustainability. Team Enablement and Knowledge Sharing Mentor engineers, analysts, product owners, and business teams on practical AI usage. <section>Job DescriptionRoles & Responsibilities<div class="paragraph"> It seeks to address critical challenges related to water scarcity, climate change, and agricultural productivity through targeted infrastructure and capacity-building interventions. The project focuses on three key objectives: 1. Water Management: Improve water availability and increase irrigation efficiency to ensure sustainable water supply for agricultural production in the targeted governorates. 2. Climate Change Adaptation: Reduce the impacts of climate change, particularly declining rainfall and increasing water scarcity, by supporting more resilient and efficient irrigated agriculture systems. 3. Agricultural Development: Enhance the productivity and profitability of smallholder farmers and agri-businesses, contributing to improved livelihoods and economic opportunities for vulnerable rural communities. As part of its implementation responsibilities, OUR CLIENT will oversee the design and rehabilitation of irrigation infrastructure, including the lining of water canals, installation of closed irrigation systems, and rehabilitation of pumping stations. The project is expected to be implemented by a team of approximately five personnel and has an estimated budget of USD 12 million. 2. Purpose and Scope of Assignment The HSSE Field Monitor will report directly to the HSSE Senior Analyst / Project Manager and will work in close coordination with Site Engineers and other project team members. The primary function of the HSSE Field Monitor is to support the implementation and monitoring of health, safety, social and environmental measures at project field sites, ensuring that all activities are conducted in compliance with applicable HSSE standards, OUR CLIENT policies, and international best practices. The HSSE Field Monitor shall carry out routine field-level inspections, observation of work activities, reporting of hazards and incidents, and support to awareness-raising efforts among workers and contractors on construction or development project sites. Specific Duties and Responsibilities More specifically, the HSSE Field Monitor will be responsible for the following tasks: Conduct daily site inspections to monitor compliance with HSSE requirements and identify hazards or non-conformities. Observe and report unsafe acts or conditions to the HSSE Analyst or Project Manager and follow up on corrective actions. Support the implementation of Contractor Health and Safety Plans as well as Social and Environmental Management Plans at the field level. Assist in the identification, documentation, and reporting and investigation of incidents, accidents, and near-misses, including gathering witness statements and photographic evidence. Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of HSSE inspections, checklists, and field monitoring reports. Conduct regular field inspections to verify that the contractor is distributing appropriate PPE to all workers in accordance with the project's HSSE requirements and ESMP provisions, and monitor workers' correct and consistent use of PPE on site at all times, documenting any non-compliance and issuing corrective action requests to the contractor accordingly. Support the induction of new workers, contractors, and visitors on site-specific HSSE rules, emergency procedures and safe work practices. Monitor environmental compliance at site level, including waste management, Noise and dust control, water management, and protection of surrounding communities. Assist in the implementation of the CCRM by receiving and logging community grievances at field level and escalating to the relevant team members. Support stakeholder engagement activities and community consultations related to HSSE matters. <h2 class="h5">Job description</h2> <div class="t-break" data-jb-field="description"> Overview ***This position will be physically located in Iraq in support of LOGCAP.*** Under the supervision of the Fire Chief, the Deputy Fire Chief responsible for Fire Station daily operations to ensure personnel are well-trained and capable to perform their duties effectively and on short notice. Select and guide firefighters to perform as expected when called upon and will continually assess their readiness and performance. This assessment will maintain daily awareness of fire inspections, fire services, inspection and testing of fire protection and alarm systems, firefighter training, and fire drills. Responsibilities This position description is subject to change at any time as needed to meet the requirements of the program or company. + Manage installation FES to include maintaining operating instructions, Master Plan, Standards of Coverage, manpower, equipment and supplies. + Develop and implement plans to cover for reduced operational capabilities; response, staffing, pollution prevention, safety of personnel, operational risk + Manage compliance self-inspection program IAW Army Installation Command checklist ensuring requirements contained in Amy Regulation 420-1. + Performance Work Statement, DoDI 6055.6 are continually maintained. + Manage and participate in the development and implementation of goals, objectives, policies, and priorities for assigned programs; recommend and administer policies and procedures; oversee and participate in the development of new fire ordinances. + Provide 24/7 FES to the installation. Services include on-scene incident management, aircraft rescue and firefighting, structural firefighting, response to hazardous materials, technical rescue to include auto extrication and confined space rescue and emergency medical services support. + Monitor and evaluate the efficiency and effectiveness of service delivery methods and procedures; recommend, within company policy, appropriate service and staffing levels. + Plan, direct, coordinate, and review the work plan for fire service staff; assign work activities, projects, and programs; review and evaluate work products, methods, and procedures. + Meet with staff to identify and resolve problems. + Select, train, motivate, and evaluate fire service personnel. + Provide or coordinate staff training. + Work with employees to correct deficiencies. + Implement discipline and termination procedures. + Ensure that equipment, safety clothing, apparatus, and supplies are specified, purchased, received, distributed in an effective and consistent + Performs Job Duties as assigned. Qualifications + Minimum Qualifications: Education/Certifications: One year related experience may be substituted for one year of education, if degree is required. + An Associate’s or higher degree in fire technology (Preferred) + Must be a U.S Citizen + Active or ability to obtain a Secret Clearance + Must be CAC eligible and/or able to obtain a Common Access Card (CAC) + Licenses/Certifications: + Fire Officer IV, Fire Instructor II, Fire Instructor III, Fire Inspector II; HAZMAT Incident Commander, Airport Fire Fighter certifications required + Must meet training and certification requirements outlined in DOD 6055.06 + Required to have IFSAC or ProBoard certification + Experience: + Ten years fire protection experience + Five years supervisory experience in related position + Supervisory/ Budget Responsibilities: + Review programs of the Assistant Fire Chief of Operations/Training. Respond and direct F&ES personnel at emergencies. + Manages large department with multiple fire stations geographically dispersed and large number of personnel. + Manages significant annual budget and also vehicle replacement programming and facility improvement planning. + Skills: + Must have experience directing firefighting operations to include fighting aircraft and structural fires, performing rescue services, and responding to hazardous + materials incidents, medical emergencies, and confined space rescues. + Knowledge of the chemistry of fire, preventive maintenance and operations of firefighting and rescue equipment, physical and chemical properties of combustible materials and building structures and their component systems. + Experienced in managing fire prevention and protection plans and programs. + Previous knowledge to act for the Fire Chief during his absence. + Assumes complete charge of operations in absence of Fire Chief at crashes, fires, emergency situations, and at other times. + Directs activities and personnel, transmitting instructions to Assistant Chiefs on the scene or other personnel as to the procedures to be followed contingent on complexity of the incident type. + Must also have experience at management of self-inspection and compliance measurement programs + Working Conditions: + Must be capable of working in an extreme weather conditions with temperatures exceeding 120 degrees Fahrenheit. Indoor and/or outdoor environment with very adverse and harsh conditions (i.e., hot, dry, duty, desert environment with average temperatures of 30 degrees in the winter and 130 degrees in the summer months). + Includes some industrial production environment conditions as well. Work is performed in a standard office with frequent travel to various locations to attend meetings and/or perform Department activities in responding to emergency scenes, disasters, or critical incidents; the employee occasionally works near moving mechanical parts; occasionally exposed to outside weather conditions and wet and/or humid conditions; occasionally works in high, precarious places; occasionally exposed to fumes or airborne particles, toxic or caustic chemicals, extreme heat, risk of electrical shock, risk of radiation, and vibration; the noise level in the work environment is usually moderate; however, the noise level is occasionally very loud due to sirens, etc., wear protective apparel including goggles, face protector, aprons, safety shoes, and self-contained breathing apparatus; incumbents may be required to work extended hours including evenings and weekends. + Physical Requirements: + Light work. <h2 class="h5">Job description</h2> <div class="t-break" data-jb-field="description"> Position: Wells QAQC Team Leader Department: Wells Location: Basra, Iraq Duration: 12 months renewable Rotation: 28/28 Role Synopsis             The QAQC Team Leader reports to the Well Engineering Manager. The role will be responsible for the management and coordination of the Wells QAQC team. The emphasis of this position is to ensure the growing demand for QAQC is met and managers are informed, along with the development of local workforce. This role is integral to our strategy of building and maintaining robust technical and management standards and furthering the commitment to advancing Iraq’s technical infrastructure and expertise to an international level of excellence. The functions to be managed by this position include but are not limited to: QAQC of local machine shops, all premium connections, make up and pressure testing of critical well components, fabrication and other sub-contractor systems and process, failure investigation for the contractor’s equipment, QMS audit for service suppliers, coordination of TPI’s and Support operational requirements where required. Technical evaluation of QAQC criteria for Wells related tenders. Key roles and responsibilities include: o            Proactively Lead the QAQC Team by example with a strong commitment to HSSE, efficiency, practicality, and training of skillsets to Iraqi nationals. o            Help develop, implement and maintain the minimum standards for all Wells local and international contractors. o            Track and document QA Team and their daily activities and site visits including daily reporting. o            Manage and supervise local 3rd party inspection contractors during Drill Stem & BHA inspection (DS-1 cat 4 & 3-5). o            Manage the development of tiered multi-level QAQC check lists and verification tools. o            Ensure contractor delivery to international and contract standards by managing scheduled tiered multi-level field, facility and procedure & data QAQC audits. o            Schedule follow up reviews and tracking of QAQC action items to close. o            Manage and maintain NCR Log and close out actions with the Wells Team o            Perform trouble shooting, root cause analysis and incident investigation reports. o            Plan, deliver and assess periodic formal training on specialist subjects and quality control measures to Iraqi staff. o            Assign responsibilities and tasks to expat and national team members dependent on skill sets, experience, and knowledge. o            To liaise and facilitate feedback on QAQC and technical issues with the Wells department and PSCM managers. o            Review Tender documents for quality compliance. o            Arrange and facilitate contractor performance improvement meetings as and when required. o            To champion the application of new technology, international standards (API, ISO, IADC) and best practices as appropriate. o            Ensure on-going QAQC audits are tracked, reports are on T drive and actions are closed out. o            Review all QAQC reports and issue to relevant manager. o            Contract account manager (CAM) for local and international TPI contracts. This includes the coordination and management of these TPI contracts. o            Work closely with Integrity and Audit TLs to support the requirements of the Wells organisation. o            Technical focal point for OCTG, tubing refurbishment and local API machine shop contracts. Technical input to wellhead contracts. o            Coordinate and liaise with TPI teams (both local and international). o            Lead preparation and technical evaluation of QAQC criteria for Wells tenders. Provide support to PSCM/discipline engineers for preparation, execution and management of tenders and contracts. o            Provide additional technical input and support to various wells teams when required. Leadership and Behavioural Traits              o            Strong leadership skills, demonstrated in the leadership of operating teams. o            Lead by example with a hands-on approach with regular rig and vendor visits. o            A proven ability to coach, train and mentor local & international staff in best industry practices. o            A strong team player with self-motivation skills and the ability to work independently is essential. o            Proactively practises and passes on values for Safety, Respect, Excellence, Courage and One Team: including Code of Conduct. o            Informed Judgment: Uses good practice and sound judgement to deliver safe and competitive operations. Criteria & Qualifications     o            Proven record of strong execution and delivery in a similar role. o            A minimum of 15yrs oil industry experience in different roles, including minimum 5yrs in supervisor or management position. Experience working within Wells teams would be considered beneficial. o            Strong knowledge of QAQC and management systems. o            Strong knowledge of DS-1 and its implementation and use. o            Sound Knowledge of NDT processes and types. (MPI, UT, LPI etc) o            Strong knowledge of API standards and implementation. o            Familiar with surface wellhead systems. Strong knowledge preferred. o            IRCA lead auditor qualification. o            Excellent interpersonal skills. Fluent in English language written and spoken with strong communication skills is essential. o            Must be computer literate and have ability to operate MS Office applications. o            Educated to at least first-degree level (or equivalent) in Engineering, or related disciplines. o            Maintains a high standard of business integrity, professional behaviour and confidentiality. o            Experience of working in Middle East land-based environments is preferred. o            A flexible approach to daily work and tasks is essential.
