<p>Job specification:
The postholder plays a critical role in the readiness of Canines. He/She is the lead in overseeing canine operations, and ensuring K9 readiness, compliance with MOI K9 Training & Evaluation Directorate and aviation security standards, and effective deployment of K9 teams to check points for screening and patrols where required. The post holder works directly for the Head of the K9 Unit in managing the daily operations, canine logistics, and closely with the K9 Training Team in ensuring that all handlers and K9s are fully trained, certified and operationally effective. He/She works with the Unit Veterinarian in overseeing canine welfare, daily nutrition and daily kenneling activities. Finally, to support the Head of K9 Unit in liaising with regulatory authorities and ensuring compliance with the MOI Directorate of Training & Evaluation with Veterinary and Technical compliance standards required for certification, through drills, exercises and evaluations.
Key Areas of Responsibility:
a) Operational Oversight :
• Supervise daily activities of K9 handlers and dogs across EDD and NDD teams.

<p>Job Specification
• Act as the primary liaison and first point of contact for ATC, RFF, Ground Handling Agents, Airlines, Engineering, and external stakeholders on all airside operational matters during the shift, escalating to the Head of Airside Operations where required.
• Ensure strict enforcement of Airside Driving Regulations (ADR), Apron Discipline, and all active Airside Driving Permits (ADP) and Airside Vehicle Permits (AVP) throughout the shift; direct shift inspectors to act on violations and authorize the issuance of Non-Compliance Notices (NCN).

The Field Doctor also participates in HSE inspections, safety and health activities, and contributes to the implementation of occupational health and hygiene programs.</p><br><br><br><p>The position works closely with site management, HSE teams, and contractors to support medical coverage, emergency response capability, and overall workforce health and safety within the field environment.</p><br><br><br>Duties and responsibilities<br><ul><li>To implement the primary health care program for all personnel and to deliver hygiene quality assurance on behalf of IFMS in the Majnoon Oil Filed.</li><li>To ensure effective management of all medical operations in MFD for primary occupational health, emergency & trauma care</li><li>Draft and maintain all procedures and health documentation for the IFMS function in line with international standards and local legislation. </li><li>Ensure effective implementation health requirements in MFD for both staff and contractors. </li><li>Prepare activity plans to accomplish all work required by the field procedures and ensure sufficient manpower utilization for work execution.</li><li>Ensure GLMS systems are maintained with up to date FTW information.</li><li>HRA follow up with SMEs and relevant parties to ensure that all control measures are implemented and maintained and reviewed periodically.</li><li>Implementing an FTW program by giving the required advice and ensure that all employees in the field are physically and mentally fit their work requirements and support business based on outcomes of fitness to Work assessment plan.</li><li>Set and implement the RTW policy in accordance with IFMS standards and local legislation and provide the required support to all staff and contractors.</li><li>Provide guidance and enable the emergency and OH training for medical staff and other BOC assignees as well as our medical service providers.</li><li>Support the implementation of the Facilities HACCP PROGRAM within the field through monthly inspections and follow up of action for both facilities and contractors.</li><li>Ensure continuous communication internally with departments, external client, government and private health institutes to provide effective support for the business.</li><li>Ensure the effective implementation of MERP including bridging requirements for contractors.</li><li>Effective coordination of MEDIVAC Procedures with insurance companies, ER Companies and Management.</li><li>Follow up MEDIVAC cases and ensuring all medical aspects are well covered, followed and closed.</li><li>Manage all aspect of 3rd party Medical Services.</li><li>Implement and update a medical case action tracker to ensure effective close out of all cases</li><li>Support the tendering process by evaluating the contractor’s health systems.</li><li>Support the RFCE process and ensure that all contractors are ready to mobilize.</li><li>Review contractor’s documentations ensuring that all are in compliant with MFD standards.</li></ul>Qualification & Training requirements<ul><li>MBChB - Bachelor degree in medicine or equivalent.</li><li>BLS or ALS or ITLS.</li><li>Professional Health Care Council Registrations</li></ul><br>Experience <ul><li>Experience in medical operations, emergency response support, healthcare administration, or related activities, preferably in industrial or remote-site environments.</li><li>Basic knowledge of HACCP principles and food safety requirements, with experience supporting food safety and health compliance activities being an advantage.</li><li>Good understanding of and demonstrable hands-on experience in all functional aspects of emergency and occupational health & hygiene including HRAs, FTW&FTR, HACCP, water and food safety, communicable disease and preventive medicine, employees support, Ergonomic Quick scan, health system management, external and internal communications, contractor’s management, emergencies and MERP managements as well as exert in providing health advices and services. </li></ul><br>Language Proficiency, Computer and Software Skills<br><ul><li>*MS Office: Excel-intermediate, Word – Intermediate, Power Point – Intermediate.</li><li>Proficient in English – (verbal & written). </li></ul><br>Skills<br><ul><li> Skill in conducting fitness to work program.</li><li>Managerial & team management skills</li><li>Knowledge to provide advice and support business based on outcomes of fitness to work assessment plan.</li><li>Skilled in contributing to the planning and implementation of healthcare requirements within business.</li><li>skilled to deliver technical meeting minutes, proposals, inspections and audits.</li><li>Good presentation skills in both English and Arabic, enable the delivery of training, technical presentations, awareness sessions to expatriates, local staff and community.</li><li>In-depth knowledge in social impacts, and the enablement of the SP team.</li><li>Experience in training in the field of OH.</li><li>Control the medical emergency requirements OH training for medics and other SOC assignees as well as medical providers.</li><li>Possess a strong drive towards solving problems that could delay works, especially in volatile location such as Iraq.</li><li>Determined to provide maximum support in the field to all contractors and subcontractors to deliver the work on time.</li><li>Have high ability to work efficiently in high risk and low security areas.</li><li>Delivering tasks in time despite difficulties in logistics, social etc.</li><li>Have experience to deal with local community in the onsite to deliver high support in the social impact area.</li><li>Show high drive to change work approaches for the team, by changing work scope, area, times, and rotations to suite specific time of the project and works.</li><li>Have high ability to construct and develop the field health team and put documents and procedures in place.</li><li>Ability to generate new ways of integrating the team with other departments.</li><li><span>Participate efficiently in improving the company reputation through stakeholder management.</span></li></ul><br><br><br> </div>
