<p>The Program Officer is primarily responsible for supporting the implementation and day-to-day coordination of Amideast/Iraq's donor-funded education and English language programs. <p>Job specification:
The postholder plays a critical role in the readiness of Canines. He/She is the lead in overseeing canine operations, and ensuring K9 readiness, compliance with MOI K9 Training & Evaluation Directorate and aviation security standards, and effective deployment of K9 teams to check points for screening and patrols where required. <p>We are seeking a Product Development Specialist to support the growth and expansion of our beverage portfolio through in-country, market-driven product development and innovation. The role will focus on identifying local market trends and consumer demands, developing product concepts tailored to the local market, and working closely with in-country co-packers to support product development and production. The role will also coordinate cross-functional teams and support the successful launch of new and improved products. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of local consumer trends, market dynamics, product positioning, and the commercial aspects of bringing beverage products from concept to market. </p><br><ul><li><p>Identify and evaluate new product opportunities based on market trends, consumer preferences, competitor activities, and business growth objectives.</p></li><li><p>Develop product concepts and business cases, including target customers, market positioning, pricing considerations, expected demand, and commercial potential.</p></li><li><p>Manage the product development process from initial idea generation through product launch and market introduction.</p></li><li><p>Conduct market research and competitor analysis to identify gaps, opportunities, and areas for product differentiation.</p></li><li><p>Work closely with Marketing, Sales, Production, Quality, and Procurement teams to ensure successful development and launch of new products.</p></li><li><p>Develop product roadmaps and support the continuous improvement of the existing product portfolio.</p></li><li><p>Analyze product performance, customer feedback, and market response to recommend improvements and future product strategies.</p></li><li><p>Support packaging, branding, and product positioning decisions in coordination with Marketing teams.</p></li><li><p>Monitor market trends, consumer behavior, and emerging beverage categories to identify opportunities for innovation.</p></li><li><p>Coordinate product trials, market testing, and customer feedback activities before full-scale launch.</p></li><li><p>Support pricing strategies and cost evaluations to ensure products achieve commercial and profitability targets.</p></li><li><p>Prepare product development reports, market analysis, launch plans, and performance reviews.</p></li><li><p>Collaborate with Sales teams to provide product knowledge, competitive insights, and launch support.</p></li></ul><p><strong>Desired Candidate Profile</strong></p><ul><li><p>Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or a related</p></li><li><p> field.Minimum of 7–10 years of experience in product development, category management, brand management, FMCG, or a related commercial role. </p></li><li><p>Experience launching new FMCG products in Iraq or regional markets. </p></li><li><p>Knowledge of beverage categories, consumer preferences, and retail market dynamics. </p></li><li><p>Strong communication and presentation skills. Strong understanding of market research, consumer behavior, and product lifecycle management. </p></li><li><p>Proven track record of successfully launching new beverage products from concept to market.</p></li><li><p>Fluency in Arabic and English (written and spoken). </p></li><li><p>Strong analytical, organizational, and cross-functional communication skills.</p></li></ul>
