<h4>Job purpose</h4>
<p>Support the client’s finance function at Majnoon Oil Field by making sure costs are recorded accurately, contractor and supplier invoices are properly verified, and cost reports are complete, timely and fully supported. Day-to-day work is assigned and supervised by the BOC Finance Department at Majnoon Field Division.</p>
<h4>Job responsibilities</h4>

<li>Record accounting entries in client’s systems and maintain correct cost centre coding.</li>
<li>Prepare monthly cost reports, accruals and variance analysis against budget, and explain significant variances.</li>
<li>Support cost analysis of operator and contractor cost submissions as directed by the client’s finance supervisor.</li>
<li>Reconcile manpower timesheets and hours submitted.</li>
<li>Perform vendor reconciliations and support petty cash control in line with client’s financial rules.</li>
<li>Follow client’s procedures, instructions and approval routes.</li>
<li>Submit monthly timesheets approved by the client’s supervisor.</li>

<h4>Technical qualification & skills</h4>

<p>The Project Engineer is responsible for assisting the Engineering Manager in coordinating and providing any engineering support within the organization such as Safety Data Sheets (SDS) or Integrated Project Management (IPM). Support can be sustaining in nature like InTouch helpdesk tickets, or of a development nature like new standards, new InTouch contents or projects. Effectively assist the Engineering Manager in a way that provides quality, cost effective and efficient support to the field when requested. Day to day engineering support (helpdesk tickets), field operations, and/or Integrated Project Management (IPM), marketing support for engineering or technical issues involving rigs assessment, equipment or systems design review, calculations, upgrades. Rig upgrades, major repairs, refurbishment and shipyard or construction site projects. Preparation or review of work scopes, specifications, budgets, schedules and contracts including management of the Roving PM resources needed for inspections, assessments, audits, preparation or execution and support of major maintenance operations. Studies and follow up with manufacturers of new drilling systems or equipment. Review and revision of existing and preparation of new standards, best practices, procedures for Rig Equipment Systems in liaison with the Field Support Equipment, Maintenance, QHSE groups. Maintenance and development of InTouch, promoting paperless archiving and providing better information access (technical library including standards, procedures, CAD drawings, MOM, certification, projects, repairs history files, etc.). Progressive transfer of all the hard copies archiving system into an electronic format. Follow up and/or development of new concepts, systems that will improve QHSE and performance of Operations. Participation in hardware and QHSE-MS audits, to confirm compliance with OFS and SDS policies, standards and procedures, condition assessment, amendment or issuance of standards, procedures as required, review of rig CAD as built drawings set and issuance of Corrective Actions Plans. Audit of engineering firms, construction or reparation sites or yard within our geographical areas of work, maintaining a list of approved contractors in the field of work of the technical group, insuring the availability of resources as they may be required, to provide an efficient support.</p><p><strong>Desired Candidate Profile</strong></p><p>ALS Project Manager with a minimum of 5 years of project management experience. Attend the worksite on the initial issue of the permit, participate in toolbox talks, and authorize the work to start. Perform regular monitoring checks during each shift, particularly within the first hour of the permit's issuance.</p>
<h4>Energy isolation and safety controls</h4>
<p>Approve the design of energy isolation and oversee the implementation of energy isolation measures prior to the issuance of work permits. Confirm that energy isolation is in place before task initiation and demonstrate the isolation to the PA. Confirm positive isolation for hot work and confined space entry tasks. Liaise with the station SAEP to ensure that all work with electrical content is reviewed, and all associated electrical certificates and risk assessments are in place. Authorise sanction to test on agreed isolations and points. Maintain the station isolation register, monitoring work scopes and removing isolation when required or transferring to LTI.</p>
<h4>Permit closure and worksite safety</h4>
<p>Close permits by signing to confirm that work is completed, ensuring that the worksite is left safe, clean, and tidy. Ensure that energy isolation is removed after work completion and the cancellation of the permit.</p>
<h4>Shift handover</h4>
<p>Conduct a thorough handover regarding ongoing tasks during shift changes with the oncoming AA, ensuring continuity and safety.</p>
<h4>SIMOPS coordination</h4>
<p>Ensure that work can proceed safely with no significant impact from or to SIMOPS.</p>
<h4>Daily meetings and continuous improvement</h4>
<p>Attend daily permit/SIMOPS meetings to provide detailed work scopes to support the site manager (SM). Capture any lessons learned from the CoW process within WorkSafe and conduct self-verification audits.</p></p><p></p>

This is an exciting opportunity for a committed professional who is passionate about influencing change, driving high-quality project implementation, and ensuring impactful partnerships in alignment with Tearfund's Country Strategy.</p><p>To coordinate and manage Tearfund's portfolio within a consortium project and manage Tearfund's partner, in coordination with the Programme Quality Director (PQD), ensuring effective design, assessment and monitoring of partner projects in support of the delivery of Tearfund's Strategy for Iraq while ensuring projects reflect Tearfund Quality Standard commitments.</p><p><br></p><p><strong>Desired Candidate Profile</strong></p><ul><li>A University Degree in a relevant discipline (e.g., Development, Social Sciences, Gender Studies, Economics, Business, or other discipline relating to Livelihoods and resilience or a humanitarian-related field).</li><li>A minimum of 5 years experience in a similar role, specifically in managing Public Private Partnership.</li><li>Very strong experience in resilience and livelihoods programming at both strategic and operational levels</li><li>Demonstrated experience in integrating gender and diversity issues into programmes</li><li>Project cycle management experience, including strategic planning, budgeting, reporting, monitoring & evaluation</li><li>Demonstrated experience in partnership management and providing support to partner organisations.</li><li>Proven ability to coordinate project implementation and track deliverables against work plans.</li><li>Experience in managing documentation, budgets, and project data to ensure high-quality reporting.</li><li>Experience in delivering training or mentoring colleagues or partners in good project practices.</li><li>Prior experience with international humanitarian organizations</li></ul><p>The ideal candidate should also have:</p><ul><li>Strong coordination, influencing, and relationship-building skills for working with staff and partners.</li><li>Strong interest in Gender and Women's Economic Empowerment programs</li><li>Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, capable of addressing programmatic challenges.</li><li>Ability to communicate ideas in a culturally-sensitive manner and conducive to their practical application especially in similar contexts</li><li>Ability to adapt and work within a multicultural, multilingual and multidisciplinary environment</li><li>Excellent report writing and facilitation skills.</li><li>Excellent written and verbal communication skills in Arabic and English.</li><li>Ability to work in a fast-moving environment and comfortable with constant change.</li><li>Strong organisational and administrative skills.</li><li>Strong IT skills (Google Workspace, Excel, etc.).</li><li>Excellent interpersonal and negotiation skills.</li><li>Fluent in spoken and written Arabic</li><li>Excellent spoken and written English</li><li>Very good interpersonal and negotiation skills</li><li>Mentoring and coaching skills</li></ul>
