<p>We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced In Country/Interface Manager to be based in Basra, Iraq. Acting as the key focal point between the project team, client, local authorities, and external stakeholders, ensuring effective coordination of all project interfaces and facilitating smooth project execution within Iraq.</p><ul><li><p>Act as the in-country representative and primary point of contact with the Client and other external stakeholders.</p></li><li><p>Establish, maintain, and manage project interface registers, ensuring timely closure and resolution of interface issues.</p></li><li><p>Identify, assess, and track interface-related risks and support the implementation of mitigation measures.</p></li><li><p>Support the implementation of project security plans and procedures.</p></li><li><p>Coordinate and manage field information gathering during engineering and design phases.</p></li><li><p>Provide support to Project Management, Construction, Commissioning, and Operations teams on interface-related matters.</p></li><li><p>Monitor project developments and advise management on issues affecting HSE, schedule, quality, and cost performance.</p></li><li><p>Ensure compliance with project contracts and relevant contractual obligations.</p></li><li><p>Prepare and submit regular progress and interface reports to project leadership.</p></li></ul><p><strong>Desired Candidate Profile</strong></p><ul><li><p>Bachelor's degree in Engineering or a related technical discipline, or equivalent experience.</p></li><li><p>12-15 years of experience in engineering, construction, project engineering, or project management.</p></li><li><p>Strong understanding of engineering, procurement, and construction (EPC) processes.</p></li><li><p>Proven ability to manage stakeholder relationships and coordinate across multiple project interfaces.</p></li><li><p>Excellent communication, negotiation, leadership, and problem-solving skills.</p></li><li><p>Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications.</p></li><li><p>Fluency in Arabic and English.</p></li><li><p>Previous experience working in Iraq, particularly in Basra and the oil & gas or infrastructure sector, would be an advantage.</p></li></ul>
