<p><h4>Job Description</h4>
<p>The quality construction inspector will support the U.S. Department of State contract in Iraq. Under specific direction, the inspector will apply knowledge and experience of facility systems in the construction and modification of horizontal and vertical applications and support services for LCC department. They will demonstrate knowledge of setting and meeting key performance indicators, to include the verification of compliance metrics in preliminary laydown, during construction phases and then final and acceptance inspections, utilizing the framework Amentum standards, OBO and DoS policies and regulations, local and international construction codes and standards (ICCS).</p>
<p>This position will be responsible for providing oversight and collaboration of standards at construction sites, with the monitoring of construction teams, providing oversight in mechanical, electrical and plumbing functions, directing inspections and managing work requirements, utilizing skills and knowledge requiring flexibility, adaptability, and responsiveness. The duties and responsibilities listed below are representative of the nature and level of work assigned and are not necessarily all inclusive.</p>
<h4>Duties:</h4>
<ul>
<li>Provide specific support of construction techniques and improvements and facilitate verification of products and/or service support applications, recommend training, tools, and methods for sound and safe construction principles.</li>
<li>Align the quality management function with the performance needs of the product line and/or service support application.</li>
<li>Manage and maintain project portfolios, adhere to policies and procedures, the basis being ISO 9001:2015 standard requirements, understand OBO and DoS maintenance practices and policies, and USACE requirements.</li>
<li>Maintain an audit schedule, and perform audits of procedures, reporting requirements, plans, programs, and keeping records, reviewing cut sheets, horizontal and vertical building codes.</li>
<li>Conduct site inspection, verification of safety practices and procedures, material deliveries and product/materials standards.</li>
<li>Record data and analyze performance of material testing, hardness, and slump testing, project change bulletins and change orders.</li>
<li>Track deficiencies and work with management to define corrective action plans and close out deficiencies, understand CAPA principles and methods.</li>
<li>Collect and analyze data to determine performance trends on mechanical, electrical and plumbing systems and assist in-house teams in repairs, oversee and direct sub-contractors work and products, be aware of new product lines, parts and manufacturing techniques.</li>
<li>Prepare and provide daily, weekly and monthly reports to management, document progress and compliance by reporting and photographs, must obtain RSO photo badge approval.</li>
<li>Ensure quality-related training is provided by the program and sub-contractor employees.</li>
<li>Implement, maintain program instructions, plans, and SOPs. Ensure archives and libraries are reviewed and revised on a planned and scheduled timetable.</li>
</ul>
<h4>Required:</h4>
<p><strong>Minimum acceptable experience level:</strong></p>
<ul>
<li>Five (5) years’ experience in quality assurance/control in construction projects.</li>
<li>Five (5) years’ experience as a quality management professional, supporting a DoD or DoS program.</li>
<li>At least two (2) years’ international experience in challenging locations, preferably the Middle East.</li>
</ul>
<p><strong>Knowledge, skills, and abilities:</strong></p>
<ul>
<li>Knowledge of all principles and processes involved in quality construction management.</li>
<li>Ability to collect, analyze, and summarize data and to prepare clear and concise reports.</li>
<li>Experience in effectively dealing with international and headquarters staff, and sensitivity to other cultures, a basic understanding of local customs and culture and language.</li>
<li>Exercise sound judgment and make decisions independently and be able to take direction from leadership.</li>

<p><strong>Education/Certification:</strong> Certification of quality construction inspector, or eight (8) years’ related experience and/or education.</p>
<p><strong>Licenses and certifications:</strong> ISO 9001:2015 certification. Valid driver's license from home of record.</p>
<p><strong>Security vetting:</strong> Must be able to obtain and maintain a secret US government clearance. Note: US citizenship is required to obtain a secret clearance.</p>
<p><strong>Language skills:</strong> Satisfactory English proficiency to meet job requirements and to adhere and comply with safety, health, and security measures.</p>
<p><strong>Medical:</strong> Successfully complete and pass the medical and dental examinations as required by Amentum and our customer for deployment to Iraq. Must maintain physical and dental requirements for duration of deployment.</p>

<h4>Working and living conditions:</h4>
<p>This position may be located in a war zone, in an environment with harsh and dangerous working and living conditions. While performing the duties of this job, the employee may regularly be exposed to extreme and austere desert-like environment. Temperatures can reach 120-130 degrees Fahrenheit / 50-55 degrees Celsius during the summer months. Employees must be willing and able to perform regular job requirements in this austere, extreme environment, as well as willing and able to deploy to Iraq for extended periods.</p>
<p>Work schedules are a minimum of 6 days per week and 10 hours per day, while some jobs have higher daily and weekly minimums. Employees must be willing and able to perform physical activities including, but not limited to, heavy lifting and moving of items, parts, assemblies, and equipment up to the safety regulation maximum; climbing in and out of equipment; crawling; and working outdoors. This includes being able to lift and carry 40 pounds of personal protective equipment for extended periods of time and being capable of running and ‘duck & cover’ during emergencies without putting oneself or others at risk.</p></p><p></p>

<li>Draft and maintain all procedures and health documentation for the IFMS function in line with international standards and local legislation.</li>

<li>Effectively coordinate MEDIVAC procedures with insurance companies, ER companies, and management.</li>
<li>Follow up MEDIVAC cases ensuring all medical aspects are well covered, followed, and closed.</li>
<li>Manage all aspects of third-party medical services.</li>
<li>Implement and update a medical case action tracker to ensure effective close out of all cases.</li>
<li>Support the tendering process by evaluating the contractor’s health systems.</li>
<li>Support the RFCE process and ensure that all contractors are ready to mobilize.</li>
<li>Review contractor’s documentation ensuring that all are compliant with MFD standards.</li>

<h4>Qualification & training requirements</h4>

<li>MBChB - Bachelor degree in medicine or equivalent.</li>
<li>BLS or ALS or ITLS certification.</li>
<li>Professional Health Care Council registrations.</li>
</ul>
<h4>Experience</h4>
<ul>
<li>Experience in medical operations, emergency response support, healthcare administration, or related activities, preferably in industrial or remote-site environments.</li>
<li>Basic knowledge of HACCP principles and food safety requirements, with experience supporting food safety and health compliance activities being an advantage.</li>
<li>Good understanding of and demonstrable hands-on experience in all functional aspects of emergency and occupational health and hygiene including HRAs, FTW & FTR, HACCP, water and food safety, communicable disease and preventive medicine, employee support, ergonomic quick scan, health system management, external and internal communications, contractor management, emergencies and MERP management as well as expert in providing health advice and services.</li>

Facility Operations & Asset Integrity</b></p><br><br><ul><li>Manage daily operations of the Physical Training Centre, including:<ul><li>Gymnasium</li><li>Functional training spaces</li><li>Games Area’s (Inside and Outside)</li><li>Stretching and group exercise areas</li><li>Swimming and Sauna Areas</li></ul></li><li>Ensure the facility is:<ul><li>Clean, hygienic, and orderly</li><li>Safe, ventilated, and fit for purpose</li><li>Operated within approved capacity</li></ul></li><li>Conduct and record daily, weekly, and monthly equipment inspections.</li><li>Coordinate <b>planned preventive maintenance (PPM)</b> and corrective maintenance through maintenance teams.</li><li>Ensure fitness equipment is certified, serviceable, and used in accordance with manufacturer requirements, to include pool maintenance.</li><li>Control access and prevent misuse of equipment.</li></ul><br><p><b>3. Fitness Programme’s & User Safety</b></p><br><br><ul><li>Deliver or supervise fitness programme’s suitable for:<ul><li>Shift workers</li><li>Rotational personnel</li><li>Physically demanding roles</li></ul></li><li>Conduct mandatory <b>gym inductions</b> for all users.</li><li>Ensure users are briefed on:<ul><li>Safe exercise techniques</li><li>Personal responsibility for fitness activities</li></ul></li><li>Support injury prevention, mobility, and fatigue management initiatives.</li><li>Coordinate with:<ul><li>Site ISOS Medical Team</li><li>KBR HSSE team<br>for wellness, rehabilitation, or return‑to‑work support.</li></ul></li></ul><br><p><b>4. Supervision & IFMS Administration</b></p><br><br><ul><li>Supervise gym attendants, fitness instructors, or subcontracted staff (if applicable).</li><li>Enforce discipline, behavioral standards, and professional conduct aligned with:<ul><li>KBR Code of Conduct</li><li>KBR Values and Ethics</li></ul></li><li>Maintain accurate records for:<ul><li>User inductions</li><li>Attendance</li><li>Equipment inspections</li><li>HSSE documentation</li></ul></li><li>Provide input to monthly IFMS reports and KPIs including:<ul><li>Facility utilization</li><li>HSSE observations</li><li>Incidents / near misses</li><li>Equipment availability</li></ul></li><li>Deliver toolbox talks and participate in KBR HSSE meetings as required.</li><li>Prepare Fitness programs, welfare event calendars, manage sports events.</li></ul><br><p><b>5.
