<p>The post holder is responsible for the delivery of Aviation security training programs through courses and workshops, ensuring that all aviation security staff are well-trained and capable of performing their duties efficiently and safely. Additionally, ensuring that other airport workers and stakeholders receive requisite security training and briefings in accordance with mandated international security standards.
All training must be compliant with the Regulatory requirements of ICAO Document 8973 Aviation Security and the ICAA National Civil Aviation Security Training Program (NCASTP).
A solid knowledge of performance management tools, techniques, and utilizing ‘state of the art’ technology, is vital, along with the ability to forge relationships with peers and customers.
Key Areas of Responsibility:

e) Examinations: Ensure that all courses and examinations are delivered to the standard, content and required level of knowledge; that examination results are properly evaluated & appropriate remedial action initiated where necessary.
f) Course Certification: Issue course certificates to successful candidates after course completion.
