<p><h4>Location</h4> <p>Sulaymaniyah, Iraq</p> <h4>Job summary</h4> <p>The heavy wheel motor vehicle field service representative (FSR) provides on-site technical support and advice to assigned customers.</p> <h4>Principal accountabilities</h4> <p>(Typical duties include the following, although specific duties vary by assignment or contract)</p> <ul> <li>Provide technical guidance and advice to the customer.</li> <li>Present a positive image of self and company’s services.</li> <li>Work effectively with differing customers and cultures.</li> <li>Maintain a safe work environment and ensure compliance with safety objectives and policies.</li> <li>Provide inspection support and perform repairs, sustainment maintenance, retrofits, and modifications to multiple platform vehicles.</li> <li>Conduct technical analysis of vehicle implementations, modifications and enhancements.</li> <li>Troubleshoot technical problems and issues and determine technical solutions.</li> <li>Act as local on-site representative to customer's organization.</li> <li>Document and submit company expense reports and time cards.</li> <li>Perform other qualified duties as assigned.</li> </ul> <h4>Knowledge & skills</h4> <ul> <li>Must have knowledge of database software, spreadsheet software, presentation software, and word processing software.</li> <li>Knowledgeable of U.S. military vehicle maintenance management publications and guidelines.</li> <li>Ability to interpret and use all types of engineering drawings, schematics, diagrams, and specification sheets.</li> <li>Ability to use all types of power tools, lifting devices, carrying or support equipment, including safe use of slings and chains.</li> <li>Familiar with the use and operation of TMDE (Test, Measurement and Diagnostic Equipment).</li> <li>Must be able to function with minimal supervision.</li> <li>Ability to obtain and maintain a US passport.</li> <li>Ability to obtain a secret security clearance.</li> </ul> <h4>Experience & education</h4> <ul> <li>High school diploma or GED required. Bachelor’s degree preferred.</li> <li>Class A or B CDL preferred.</li> <li>Four (4) years certified vehicle maintenance required.</li> <li>ASE level certification in vehicular and component level fault diagnostics and maintenance or military equivalent.</li> <li>Prior instructional experience delivering technical training in fault diagnostics and maintenance/repair.</li> </ul> <h4>Physical requirements/working environment</h4> <ul> <li>Must be willing and able to work in extreme temperatures.</li> <li>Capability to lift 55 lbs without assistance.</li> <li>Must be able to meet medical and physical fitness requirements to enter into and maintain deployment in accordance with customer requirements.</li> <li>Live and work in an austere environment in an active combat zone most likely under U.S. government control.</li> </ul> <h4>Travel</h4> <ul> <li>Able to travel domestically and internationally.</li> <li>Relocate to different locations within the area of responsibility (AOR) on short notice to support assignment.</li> </ul></p><p></p>
