Within the Project Organization, the Lead Interface Engineer reports to the Interface Manager.</p>

<h4>Job dimensions</h4>
<p>The Lead Interface Engineer shall assist the Interface Manager on the following:</p>

<li>Take care of the overall management of interface and data changes between stakeholders of the Common Seawater Supply Project, and provide advice on any schedule and commercial issues arising from such interfaces and changes.</li>
<li>Ensure that interface management procedures are in place and that EPC and other contractors implement the required interface management system throughout the project duration.</li>

<p>The Lead Interface Engineer is anticipated to start early 2026 and will be based in Abu Dhabi (UAE).</p>

<p>The job holder shall assist the Interfaces Manager:</p>

<li>With the support of the Project Management Consultant, define, implement and maintain the methodology/procedure to be applied and the corresponding database to be created, to ensure a clear and accurate identification and management of interfaces. This procedure will be as efficient and simple as possible and will be used throughout the life of the project and shall be applied by the different entities/contractors.</li>
<li>Management of interface and change data between parties, monitor and control interface and change issues, in order to resolve interface and change issues in a timely and organised manner according to the project interface and change control procedures.</li>
<li>Attend major interface meetings, internal and external with other entities of CSSP Project, contractor representatives, vendors, TotalEnergies specialists, partner’s experts, etc. Lead interface and other technical meetings as required.</li>
<li>Ensure that HSE requirements are systematically considered all along the interface management process and in particular that interfaces are properly addressed during HAZID/HAZOP/PTR project audits.</li>
<li>Consolidate and advise the Project Director and Technical and Project Control Managers of any risks, especially schedule and commercial issues arising from interfaces and changes. Shall be the coordinator of the Management of Change, providing the justification through all disciplines of the change. Ensure complete documentation of all changes, and communication of these in compliance with the processes agreed with BOC and regulatory authorities.</li>
<li>Prepare technical papers to support management positions for clarifications or decisions with regulatory authorities of host countries, other entities or partners.</li>
<li>Ensure that EPC Contractor implements required interface management system and resources and monitor throughout the project duration that EPC Contractor honours its responsibilities as defined in the project interface procedure.</li>
<li>Ensure the implementation of interface changes/optimisations resulting from negotiations of the external interfaces.</li>
<li>Together with Project Management Consultant, ensure design consistency and continuity throughout the facilities.</li>
<li>Avoid change orders and delays caused by interface issues; ensure timely follow-up of interface issues.</li>
<li>Assist the Project Management Consultant, prior to and during construction phase, by anticipating operational interfaces with other parties (clashes or conflicting program).</li>
<li>In case of SIMOPS (phased delivery of the plant): propose solutions and participate in definition and resolution.</li>

<h4>Context and environment</h4>
<p>Basrah Oil Company (BOC) is undertaking the Seawater Treatment Facilities (STF) project to provide treated seawater to the oil fields in southern Iraq (for injection). The STF will be located on the west side of the Khor Al Zubair, upstream of the port of Umm Qasr and will have the following key components:</p>
<ul>
<li>Site development and non-process facilities.</li>
<li>Ancillaries and buildings.</li>
<li>Seawater intake and outfall structures.</li>
<li>Material off-loading facility.</li>
<li>Seawater clarification, filtration and deoxygenating processes.</li>
<li>Chemical addition systems.</li>
<li>Shipping pumps.</li>
<li>Power generation.</li>
<li>Utilities.</li>
</ul>
<p>FEED was completed (June 2016) with Phase 1 capacity of 7.5 million barrels of water per day (MMBWPD) of treated seawater, with a subsequent Phase 2 of 5 MMBWPD for a total buildout capacity of 12.5 MMBWPD. The project was placed on hold upon the completion of FEED.</p>
<p>In 2018 BOC launched a call for tender on the FEED, but instructed bidders to reduce capacity to 5.0 MMBWPD, with provision for a future addition of 2.5 MMBWPD for a total build-out phase of 7.5 MMBWPD.</p>
<h4>Accountabilities</h4>
<p>Accountable for the interfaces and management of change (MoC), being internal (between units, disciplines, PMT, One Tech and specialists) or external (between other CSSP projects, contractors, company, etc.). The job holder coordinates all interface and MoC matters, protecting the WI Project and company’s position with regards to all external interfaces and to internal interfaces between contractors, and ensuring that changes are evaluated and executed for the overall benefit of the project.</p>
<p>Accordingly, the job holder shall make the necessary coordination between all involved contractors/parties and company teams and implement an agreed interface management procedure and methodology. He/she shall ensure the proper and timely follow-up and resolution of interface issues between the various involved parties documents. He/she must support the Interface Manager to ensure full control of the Management of Change process, and shall document all the changes, taking care to perform a full review with various disciplines with project aspects to justify or reject the change.</p>
<p>A key aspect of interface coordination is the ability to effectively communicate, across all involved parties, all details related to an interface, including requirements, technical specifications, and potential issues. <p>The nature of the development might call for a “staged” delivery of the facilities. Simultaneous activities between construction activities and operations activities can occur to meet the agreed schedule.</p>

<p>Located at the Majnoon Oil Field in Iraq, this role is responsible for leading overall controller and cost recovery functions for KBR on the Integrated Field Management Service (IFMS) Contract. The F&A Manager ensures timely and accurate financial transactions review, invoice generation, and optimized cash flow.</p>
<p>The role ensures robust financial governance, accurate reporting, and strong compliance with internal controls and contractual obligations.</p>
<h4>Key responsibilities</h4>
<p><strong>Cost recovery process</strong><br>
Oversee cost recovery operations.<br>
Hold overall responsibility for the end-to-end cost recovery process, including management of payments and collections.<br>
Ensure client billings are accurate, timely and compliant with the contract.<br>
Manage working capital.</p>
<p><strong>Risk management & assurance</strong><br>
Supervise risk management and assurance operations.<br>
Lead financial risk management activities.<br>
Conduct policy and compliance audits.<br>
Ensure external compliance.<br>
Drive internal reviews and audits.<br>
Strengthen control systems.</p>
<p><strong>Internal reporting</strong><br>
Oversee accounting operations and ensure accurate financial reporting.<br>
Manage monthly and quarterly close processes.<br>

<h4>Qualifications & experience</h4>
<p>Bachelor’s degree required; a professional accounting certification is preferred.<br>
Minimum 10 years of finance experience, ideally within the oil & gas or energy sector.<br>
Leadership experience.<br>
Experience working in remote site environments or large upstream projects is beneficial.<br>

<p>The role is responsible for coordinating project risk management activities and supporting schedule integration across the project.</p>
<h4>Accountability</h4>
<p>The Schedule & Risk Coordinator is accountable for maintaining an effective Project Risk Management process, coordinating risk mitigation activities, and ensuring alignment of interface schedules and milestones across the CSSP Project. The role supports integration between WIP and Pipeline Project schedules, follows execution progress from the field, and provides reliable information to support project decision-making. The position serves as backup to the Planning Engineer when required; however, ownership of the Integrated Project Schedule, schedule development, forecasting, and baseline control remains with the Planning Engineer.</p>
<h4>Qualifications/Experience required</h4>
<ul>
<li>Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Project Management, Construction Management, Risk Management, or a related discipline.</li>
<li>Minimum 7-10 years of experience in Project Controls, Construction Planning, Risk Management, or Project Execution within major Oil & Gas, Energy, Infrastructure, or EPC projects.</li>
<li>Extensive field construction experience with direct involvement in site execution, construction sequencing, workfront planning, contractor performance monitoring, and multidisciplinary team coordination.</li>
<li>Proven experience in developing, maintaining, and challenging Project Risk Registers, risk assessments, mitigation plans, and risk management processes.</li>
<li>Demonstrated experience in schedule integration, interface management, and coordination of critical milestones across multiple contractors, stakeholders, and project packages.</li>
<li>Demonstrated ability to identify, assess, and mitigate construction, logistics, procurement, interface, and country-specific project risks.</li>
<li>Proven ability to independently challenge contractor schedules, risk assessments, mitigation strategies, and execution plans through analytical review and field verification.</li>
<li>Experience facilitating risk workshops and coordinating mitigation actions with risk owners and project stakeholders.</li>
<li>Experience working in complex multi-contractor execution environments, including large-scale brownfield and greenfield developments.</li>
<li>Ability to provide risk-based assessments and construction-driven recommendations to support project management decision-making.</li>
</ul>
<h4>Technical Skills</h4>
<ul>
<li>Strong knowledge of project risk management methodologies, quantitative and qualitative risk assessment techniques, and risk reporting systems.</li>
<li>Strong understanding of construction execution processes, construction sequencing, work packaging, site productivity, and contractor performance monitoring.</li>
<li>Strong capability to evaluate construction readiness, identify execution constraints, and assess impacts on project milestones and critical paths.</li>
<li>Proficient in Primavera P6 and schedule analysis techniques, including critical path analysis, float consumption, schedule risk assessment, and recovery planning.</li>
