The role ensures that all site activities are performed safely, in compliance with approved drawings, project specifications, international standards, and HSE requirements.</p><p><br></p><p>The E&I Engineer will coordinate closely with construction, QA/QC, engineering, commissioning teams, and subcontractors to ensure proper installation, testing, pre-commissioning, and timely project delivery while maintaining quality, safety, and schedule objectives throughout the project lifecycle.</p><p><br></p><ul><li><p>Supervise and execute all electrical installation activities including MV/LV systems, transformers, switchgear, MCCs, distribution panels, UPS systems, and associated power infrastructure in accordance with approved drawings and project specifications.<br></p></li><li><p>Monitor and control cable tray installation, cable pulling, glanding, termination, and testing activities, ensuring compliance with method statements, ITPs, and international standards.<br></p></li><li><p>Ensure proper installation of earthing and grounding systems, lightning protection systems, and hazardous area electrical equipment (Ex-rated equipment) as per project and safety requirements.<br></p></li><li><p>Supervise installation of field instrumentation including pressure, temperature, flow, and level transmitters, control valves, analyzers, junction boxes, and marshalling cabinets.</p></li></ul><br><ul><li><p>Oversee instrument tubing works, impulse line installation, supports, tagging, and identification to ensure alignment with engineering drawings and hook-up details.<br></p></li><li><p>Support loop checking, calibration, pre-commissioning, and commissioning activities in coordination with the commissioning team and client representatives.</p><br></li><li><p>Review and interpret technical documents including single line diagrams (SLDs), wiring diagrams, hook-up drawings, cable schedules, and layout drawings to ensure accurate site execution.</p></li></ul><br><ul><li><p>Coordinate with construction, QA/QC, engineering, and subcontractor teams to resolve technical issues and ensure smooth workflow and timely project execution.</p></li></ul><br><ul><li><p>Ensure all installation works are performed in compliance with project specifications, international standards (IEC, NEC, API where applicable), and contractual requirements.</p></li></ul><br><ul><li><p>Participate in inspections, raise RFIs where required, support punch list clearance, and ensure proper documentation and as-built records are maintained.</p></li></ul><br><ul><li><p>Enforce strict adherence to HSE policies, conduct risk assessments, participate in toolbox talks, and ensure safe execution of works within live plant or hazardous areas.</p></li></ul><br><ul><li><p>Monitor daily site progress, report to the Construction Manager /Project Manager, and ensure activities are completed within approved schedules and cost parameters</p></li></ul></div></section><section><p class="heading">Desired Candidate Profile</p><p class="paragraph"></p><ul><li><p>Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, or a related field</p></li><li><p>Experience working on oil and gas EPC projects</p></li><li><p>Strong understanding of oil and gas process systems and equipment, with a focus on flare gas recovery systems.</p></li><li><p>7-10 years experience in static, rotary equipment installation.</p></li><li><p>Knowledge of piping and general mechanical works.</p></li></ul><p></p></section>
