The STF will be located on the west side of the Khor Al Zubair, upstream of the port of Umm Qasr and will have the following key components:</p><br><br><ul><li>Site development and non-process facilities.</li><li>Ancillaries and buildings.</li><li>Seawater intake and outfall structures.</li><li>Material off-loading facility.</li><li>Seawater clarification, filtration and deoxygenating processes.</li><li>Chemical addition systems.</li><li>Shipping pumps.</li><li>Power Generation.</li><li>Utilities.</li></ul><p>FEED was completed (June 2016) with Phase 1 capacity of 7.5 million barrels of water per day (MMBWPD) of treated seawater, with a subsequent Phase 2 of 5 MMBWPD for a total buildout capacity of 12.5 MMBWPD. The project was placed on hold upon the completion of FEED.</p><br><br><p>In 2018 BOC launched a call for tender on the FEED, but instructed bidders to reduce capacity to 5.0 MMBWPD, with provision for a future addition of 2.5 MMBWPD for a total build-out phase of 7.5 MMBWPD.</p><br><br><br><p><b>Accountabilities</b></p><br><br><ul><li>Accountable for the interfaces and MoC, being internal (between units, disciplines, PMT, One Tech and Specialists) or external (between other CSSP Projects, Contractors, COMPANY, etc…). The job holder coordinates all interface and MoC matters, protecting the WI Project and COMPANY’s position with regards to all external interfaces and to internal interfaces between Contractors, and ensuring that changes are evaluated and executed for the overall benefit of the Project.</li><li>Accordingly, the job holder shall make the necessary coordination between all involved Contractors/parties and Company Teams and implement an agreed interface management procedure and methodology. She/He shall ensure the proper and timely follow-up and resolution of interfaces issues between the various involved parties documents.
