<h4>Job description</h4> Division: CSSP (Ratawi Hub – Iraq) Direction: PCM <h4>Situation in organization</h4> The Reporting Engineer position is within the Project Control Organization of the project reporting to the Planning & Reporting Manager. <h4>Job dimensions</h4> The Reporting Engineer is responsible for collecting, analyzing, and presenting project performance data to support decision-making and ensure transparency across all phases of the CSSP project. The role contributes to the timely and accurate delivery of internal and external reports, dashboards, and KPIs, including HSE and risk-related metrics. In addition, the Reporting Engineer is responsible for supporting project digitalization and information management initiatives, ensuring the effective governance, quality, accessibility, and integration of project information across all participating organizations. The position oversees the Information Management Assistant function and promotes the efficient use of digital collaboration platforms, reporting systems, document management tools, and data-sharing solutions to enhance project execution and stakeholder alignment. The role acts as a focal point between Project Controls, Engineering, Construction, HSE, Contractors, and Company stakeholders to ensure consistency, traceability, and reliability of project data and information throughout the project lifecycle. Iraq Common Seawater Supply Project (CSSP) intends to provide treated seawater to the oil fields in southern Iraq (for injection). The WIP will be located on the west side of the Khor Al Zubair, upstream of the port of Umm Qasr. The major components of the WIP include seawater intake and outfall structures, material offloading facility, seawater clarification, filtration and deoxygenating processes, shipping pumps, a fuel gas pipeline, power generation, utilities and non-process. The budget of the WIP is circa $3 billion. <section>Job DescriptionRoles & Responsibilities<div class="paragraph">Role objectivesThe project will be implemented in the four southern governorates of Muthanna, Qadisiya, Missan and Thi Qar in Iraq. The overall Smallholder Agriculture Revitalization Project (SARP) aims at assisting rural people overcome poverty and achieve food security through remunerative, sustainable and resilient livelihoods. It consists of two main components namely; (1) Climate Resilient Investments; and (2) Agriculture & Livelihood Diversification. The first component includes two sub components; (1.1) modernization/rehabilitation of Irrigation Infrastructure schemes and (1.2) Knowledge Management and Institutional strengthening. The first sub-component (1.1.) aims at addressing the growing scarcity of irrigation water. The Project s overall objective is to contribute to the revitalization of agriculture while building resilience to climate change in the Southern Governorates in Iraq. The Project has the three following specific objectives: Water Management - Increase water availability and irrigation efficiency to sustain water supply for agricultural production in the selected governorates Climate Change - Mitigate the impact of climate change namely the reduction in precipitation and increasing water scarcity by supporting irrigated agricultural production Agriculture - Enhance the profitability of the supported small farms/agri-businesses in order to contribute to the improvement of the income of the rural vulnerable farmers our client will be responsible for the design and rehabilitation works of the irrigation infrastructure schemes such as the lining of dried up water canals, supply and lay out of closed irrigation systems and rehabilitation of pumping stations. Purpose and Scope of Assignment Under the overall guidance of the Project Manager and the direct supervision of the Lead Civil Engineer, the Civil Engineer is required to perform the following specific duties and responsibilities ensuring their effectiveness, transparency, and integrity: Coordination, Delivery, and Performance: Plan, supervise, and manage the implementation of SARP rehabilitation and/or construction works, ensuring alignment with project requirements, timelines, and budgets. Responsible for preparing the bill of quantities, as-built and construction drawings Responsible for day-to-day coordination with the contractors and suppliers according to the needs and requirements on site; Inspects and report on contractor s works in progress ensuring that the contractor meets UNOPS quality standards; Provide support and guidance to the contractor and assists in resolving site problems, as necessary; Assist in the preparation of project plans, detailed schedules, and progress reports, and contribute to project closure activities and documentation. <section>Job DescriptionRoles & Responsibilities<div class="paragraph">WH tax review, reporting and compliance in accordance with laws and regulations of tax offices in KRG and Federal Tax Authority. Make Tax reconciliations within the system and with vendors and dealers. Prepare required letters to vendors and tax office in KRG and Federal tax authority along with supporting documents. - Compliance with tax law and instruction in relation to WH Tax. - Maintain and update Tax data sheets detailed analysis like split of invoices and payments on daily basis, applying of cleared open items in the excel sheet to ensure clean net payable lists for Tax reporting - Tax data/record preparation for data migration/transfer from one ERP to other. - Maintain withholding tax balances on general ledger and assuring accurate accounting treatment and correct account mapping with vendors, and availability of accurate supplier tax balances. - Participate in preparing reports and documentation to enable the company to agree with tax authorities on a process for withholding tax of vendors, - Prepare the required documents and files for tax audit purposes. - Archive and maintain tax documents and records related to suppliers and Dealers. - Coordinate with the Accounting and Procurement departments to ensure accurate recording of suppliers tax information. Key Accountabilities Make monthly Tax Statements for Tax Offices. Timely Preparing required letters to vendors and tax office in KRG and Federal tax authority. Ensuring alignment to project goals, targets and KPIs.</li> <li>Alignment with scope, materials, plant and equipment, supporting requirements and budgets required for preparation and implementation. </li> <li>Determine the limits of system handover for defined discipline, ensuring clear scope boundaries for preparation, execution, completions and commissioning – with clear roles and responsibilities. </li> <li>Directly supervise nominated contractors and vendors during pre and execution phase of the shutdown. </li> <li>Support in reviewing and evaluating contractor performance and providing feedback for continuous improvement, whilst checking for consistency in the technical information provided by the Contractor.</li></ul>Accountabilities: <ul> <li>Identify, scope and prepare shutdown activities in line with company guide and rules. </li> <li>Ensure discipline single work list is identified, produced and managed in line with engineering updates and amendments.</li> <li>Responsible for preparation, constructability, readiness, assurance, mitigations within discipline area.
