<p><br></p><p>Role Purpose Zain Iraq is actively recruiting to hire a Growth and Engagement Expert - Digital Platforms owns the operational execution of Zain s marketing technology and engagement stack, and all of the acquisition and lifecycle activity that runs on it. The role is responsible for turning platform investment into commercial output: designing and launching trigger-based lifecycle journeys, running acquisition campaigns across digital properties, and moving the numbers that matter monthly active users, retention, and direct monetization. This is an execution ownership role; it owns the engagement stack and the campaign activity running through it.</p><p>Responsibilities • Own the day-to-day operation, configuration and administration of customer engagement stack across digital platforms. • Exploit the full capability of the engagement stack, comprehensively activating its functionality. • Maintain integration health between engagement, attribution and analytics platforms, escalating breaks that affect campaign targeting or measurement. • Manage platform and vendor relationships operationally, including support escalation and awareness of upcoming capability. • Design, build and launch personalized, trigger-based lifecycle journeys across owned channels. • Own the engagement calendar across digital platforms, sequencing activity to avoid message fatigue and channel conflict. • Build and maintain audience segments for targeting, using the audience data and definitions provided by the analytics team. • Run onboarding, activation, retention, reactivation, and win-back programs, and iterate them on performance rather than on assumptions. • Own the acquisition strategy for digital platforms, setting channel priorities, targets and budget logic against acquisition cost and quality of acquired users. • Hold paid media performance to account, working through internal coordination and agency partners, and directing budget reallocation on attribution evidence. • Own app store optimization, including metadata, creative, and store conversion performance. • Use attribution data to assess channel and campaign performance, and act on what it shows. • Own the growth targets for digital platforms, including monthly active users, retention, churn reduction and conversion. • Identify and execute monetization opportunities across digital platforms, from campaign-led conversion through to offer promotion. • Maintain an experiment backlog with defined success criteria and run tests to settle questions. • Report campaign and channel performance in commercial terms, with the recommendation for the next cycle attached. • Work with the analytics team to align campaign measurement to the platform measurement framework. • Work with product owners and the product designers so that in-product engagement requirements are specified and built rather than worked around. • Coordinate with wider marketing functions so campaign activity stays consistent with brand standards.</p><p><strong>Desired Candidate Profile</strong></p><ul><li>Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business, Communications, Statistics, or a related discipline.</li><li>5+ years of experience in Growth Marketing, CRM, Lifecycle Marketing, and Digital Acquisition for mobile apps and web platforms.</li><li>Proven expertise in marketing automation, customer segmentation, customer journeys, paid acquisition, mobile attribution, and App Store Optimization (ASO).</li><li>Strong hands-on experience with platforms such as MoEngage, Braze, CleverTap, Adjust, AppsFlyer, Google Ads, Meta Ads, and TikTok Ads.</li><li>Demonstrated ability to drive user growth through data-driven experimentation, budget optimization, and performance analysis using key metrics such as CPA, LTV, and ROI.</li><li>Excellent campaign planning, creative briefing, and commercial decision-making skills, with experience in high-volume consumer businesses such as telecom, fintech, or e-commerce.</li></ul>
<p>The Fuel Coordinator will be based at the U.S. Embassy Compound in Baghdad, Iraq and serve the Base Life Support Services (BLiSS) contract in support of the U.S. Department of State.
