<p>The Reporting Engineer position is within the Project Control Organization of the project reporting to the Planning & Reporting Manager.</p>
<h4>Job dimensions</h4>
<p>The Reporting Engineer is responsible for collecting, analyzing, and presenting project performance data to support decision-making and ensure transparency across all phases of the CSSP project. The role contributes to the timely and accurate delivery of internal and external reports, dashboards, and KPIs, including HSE and risk-related metrics.</p>
<p>In addition, the Reporting Engineer is responsible for supporting project digitalization and information management initiatives, ensuring the effective governance, quality, accessibility, and integration of project information across all participating organizations. <p>The role acts as a focal point between Project Controls, Engineering, Construction, HSE, Contractors, and Company stakeholders to ensure consistency, traceability, and reliability of project data and information throughout the project lifecycle.</p>
<p>Iraq Common Seawater Supply Project (CSSP) intends to provide treated seawater to the oil fields in southern Iraq (for injection). CSSP is composed of water pipelines which are part of Basra Oil Company (BOC) scope of work, and the Water Infrastructure Project (WIP), previously named STF (Seawater Treatment Facilities). The WIP will be located on the west side of the Khor Al Zubair, upstream of the port of Umm Qasr.</p>
<p>The major components of the WIP include seawater intake and outfall structures, material offloading facility, seawater clarification, filtration and deoxygenating processes, shipping pumps, a fuel gas pipeline, power generation, utilities and non-process.</p>
<p>The budget of the WIP is circa $3 billion.</p>
<p>The Reporting Engineer is expected to commence duties in the 3rd quarter of 2026 and will be based in Basra.</p>
<h4>Activities</h4>

<h3>Key Responsibilities</h3>
<p>Define, maintain and enforce governance standards, delivery methodology and best practices for the RPA program across both the UiPath and Blue Prism platforms; act as the accountable owner of program quality and compliance.</p>
<p>Lead the discovery and assessment of candidate business processes across departments; run feasibility studies (technical, financial, operational) to determine which processes are suitable for automation.</p>
<p>Engage business stakeholders to elicit, document and validate detailed business and functional requirements, translating them into Process Definition Documents (PDDs) that the delivery team can build from.</p>
<p>Own and approve the business-fit and architectural soundness of proposed automation solutions, ensuring designs produced by the RPA Developer meet business intent, governance standards and scalability requirements.</p>
<p>Maintain the automation pipeline and roadmap, balancing business value, complexity and capacity to sequence delivery in line with organizational priorities.</p>
<p>Build ROI models and business cases for proposed automations, and track realized benefits (time saved, cost avoided, error reduction) against forecast after go-live.</p>
<p>Act as the primary liaison between the Business Excellence Team, IT, and business-unit stakeholders throughout the automation lifecycle, from intake to post-implementation review.</p>
<p>Provide regular status, pipeline and benefits-realization reporting to the Business Excellence Team Manager and relevant governance forums.</p><p><strong>Desired Candidate Profile</strong></p><h3>Education, Experience & Skills</h3>

<p>Experienced ELV Engineer to join our QA/QC department, focusing on quality control for extra-low voltage (ELV) and weak current systems in high-rise tower construction project for the Main Contractor. The ideal candidate should have a strong background in site quality inspections for specialized systems, testing & commissioning experience, and the ability to maintain high professionalism and execution capability under intense work and tight schedules.</p><p>Conduct quality inspections throughout all stages of ELV installation works during construction and post-completion phases. Verify site construction quality and compliance against approved drawings, schematic diagrams, and technical specifications. Identify quality deviations, installation defects, interference risks, and non-conformities; track corrective actions to closure. Supervise material receiving inspections (MIR); ensure compliance with approved material submittals and samples in terms of specification, brand, grade, and certification standards. Lead and participate in pre-commissioning inspections, system testing acceptance, and defect rectification processes. Witness and verify multi-system integration testing. Prepare and maintain punch lists for ELV systems; track the rectification status of each defect with photographic and technical records until closure. Review as-built drawings and O&M manuals for completeness and accuracy; ensure compliance with delivery standards. Coordinate with sub-contractors, specialized system vendors, consultants, and the client to complete final acceptance and handover sign-off processes. Maintain the quality documentation system, including quality inspection plans, checklists, and method statements Prepare daily and weekly quality reports to inform management of quality status and critical issues Manage the material submittal log and document version control; ensure the latest drawings are used on site Coordinate multi-disciplinary interfaces at the field level, specifically managing boundaries between ELV systems, LV power supplies, and Mechanical interfaces (HVAC dampers, fire pumps, elevators, etc.) to resolve technical interface issues during installation.
