<h4>Job scope</h4>
<p>The HVAC mechanical supervisor is responsible for supervising day-to-day heating, ventilation, and air-conditioning activities across Majnoon Oil Field projects. The role ensures safe, reliable, and compliant operation of HVAC systems in accordance with KBR standards, client specifications, and Iraq oil & gas regulatory requirements. The supervisor oversees HVAC technicians, executes maintenance plans, and supports project works including upgrades, shutdowns, and new installations.</p>
<h4>Accountability / expectations</h4>
<ul>
<li>Supervise HVAC technicians and ensure daily tasks are completed safely, efficiently, and in compliance with KBR HSSE requirements.</li>
<li>Execute preventive, corrective, and predictive maintenance programs for chillers, package units, split units, ventilation systems, and industrial cooling equipment.</li>
<li>Perform technical troubleshooting, root-cause analysis, and diagnostics on mechanical and electrical HVAC components.</li>
<li>Ensure adherence to KBR HSSE policies, client standards, and relevant international codes.</li>
<li>Review and support preparation of HVAC work permits, job hazard analyses, and method statements.</li>
<li>Coordinate with operations, electrical, instrumentation, and projects teams to support field activities and shutdown schedules.</li>
<li>Monitor contractor activities, ensuring quality workmanship and compliance with specifications.</li>
<li>Maintain accurate documentation including maintenance logs, equipment history, spare-parts records, and inspection reports.</li>
<li>Assist project engineering teams with HVAC design reviews, material requisitions, and technical evaluations.</li>
<li>Track inventory levels and ensure availability of critical spares and consumables.</li>
