<p><h4>Job Description</h4>
<p>The quality construction inspector will support the U.S. Department of State contract in Iraq. Under specific direction, the inspector will apply knowledge and experience of facility systems in the construction and modification of horizontal and vertical applications and support services for LCC department. They will demonstrate knowledge of setting and meeting key performance indicators, to include the verification of compliance metrics in preliminary laydown, during construction phases and then final and acceptance inspections, utilizing the framework Amentum standards, OBO and DoS policies and regulations, local and international construction codes and standards (ICCS).</p>
<p>This position will be responsible for providing oversight and collaboration of standards at construction sites, with the monitoring of construction teams, providing oversight in mechanical, electrical and plumbing functions, directing inspections and managing work requirements, utilizing skills and knowledge requiring flexibility, adaptability, and responsiveness. The duties and responsibilities listed below are representative of the nature and level of work assigned and are not necessarily all inclusive.</p>
<h4>Duties:</h4>
<ul>
<li>Provide specific support of construction techniques and improvements and facilitate verification of products and/or service support applications, recommend training, tools, and methods for sound and safe construction principles.</li>
<li>Align the quality management function with the performance needs of the product line and/or service support application.</li>
<li>Manage and maintain project portfolios, adhere to policies and procedures, the basis being ISO 9001:2015 standard requirements, understand OBO and DoS maintenance practices and policies, and USACE requirements.</li>

To witness the pre-commissioning activities performed by Contractor and ensure systems have reached the RFC status with associated punch list. To define, with Commissioning Manager, Commissioning specialist supervision/execution needs. To monitor and follow-up the execution of commissioning (including attendance to FATs at manufacturers premises) to achieve maximum productivity, minimize cost and achieve smooth handover. To prepare and supervise the material / spares / tools / first fill status during Commissioning. To ensure optimal vendor intervention planning. To be responsible for PID s conformity checks ( as commissioned documents) for all systems he is in charge of). To ensure that adequate care and maintenance/preservation and operation of equipment are carried out until handover to Field Operations. Controls Commissioning activities and identifies priorities to meet systems AOC status as per schedule for the systems he is in charge of. To ensure Vendor s recommendation for preservation procedures are applied and followed via CTR tool. To ensure Vendor s/equipment/package punch list coordination and input into ICAPS.</p><p><br></p><p><strong>Desired Candidate Profile</strong></p>Expected: 6-8 years in Commissioning / Field Operations activities.
