<p>Under general supervision: From Surface Facilities IAM Project Manager or Project/Asset Manager, supervises the operations on the field projects for a given project or several projects in an asset. Establishes scope of work with site customer and site representative. Checks design documentation for adequacy to specific site conditions and agreed scope of work. Proposes engineering adjustments to site condition as required. Visits site before and during the project and verifies that applied project procedures by contractor will allow compliance of technical requirements and timely completion. Additional responsibilities include verifying project advance payment and contractor resource allocation; commenting and proposing adjustments to comply with project schedule and budget; verifying safety conditions at site and stop work if required; informing management and personnel of unsafe practice. Also participates in site project meetings with contractor and customer, and coordinates site inspection by QA/QC, HSE and commissioning teams in a timely matter. Develop petrophysical models for input into geological and reservoir simulation workflows.</li>
<li>Provide technical oversight during logging operations (wireline and LWD) and post-job evaluations. Oversee the acquisition, processing, and interpretation of well logging data, ensuring data integrity and quality. Ensure consistency and standardization of petrophysical workflows and data management across the asset.</li>

<p>The Operations Manager will be based at the Baghdad Embassy Compound (BEC) site in Iraq and serve the Operations and Maintenance Support Services (OMSS) contract in support of the U.S. Department of State. This position will be responsible for taking ownership of the site operational responsibilities to include directing the daily performance of the organization, planning, scheduling and training processes to meet the requirements of the contract. This position will report to the OMSS Program Manager. <p>The LCC/LCC-A site manager will be based at an Amentum site in Iraq and serve the Operations and Maintenance Support Services (OMSS) contract in support of the U.S. Department of State. This position will be responsible for supervising the LCC/LCC-A team in day-to-day operations by assigning projects, coordinating schedules, monitoring performance and quality of workers, and will report to the OMSS program manager. The duties and responsibilities listed below are representative of the nature and level of work assigned and are not necessarily all inclusive.</p>

<p>This position may be located in a war zone, in an environment with harsh and dangerous working and living conditions. While performing the duties of this job, the employee may regularly be exposed to extreme and austere desert-like environment. Temperatures can reach 120-130 degrees Fahrenheit (50-55 degrees Celsius) during the summer months. <p><strong>Job purpose</strong><br>
The physical training centre supervisor is responsible for the safe, compliant, and effective management of the female physical training and fitness facility under the KBR IFMS contract, ensuring full alignment with:</p>

<p>The role supports workforce health, wellbeing, and fatigue management while reinforcing IFMS Goal Zero, Life-Saving Rules, and KBR’s Beyond Zero safety culture.</p>
<h4>Key responsibilities</h4>
<p><strong>1. HSSE leadership & compliance</strong></p>
<ul>
<li>Demonstrate visible HSSE leadership in line with KBR Zero Harm</li>
<li>Ensure strict compliance with Life-Saving Rules, MFDS Permit to Work (PTW) and isolation requirements (where applicable), KBR and IFMS HSSE procedures</li>
<li>Develop, implement, and maintain risk assessments (RA), task risk assessments (TRA), and job safety analyses (JSA) for all fitness activities</li>
<li>Ensure emergency preparedness including first aid and AED readiness, clear emergency response procedures within the facility</li>
<li>Report and investigate incidents, near misses, unsafe acts and conditions using KBR approved reporting systems</li>
<li>Support and participate in HSSE audits, site inspections, assurance and compliance reviews</li>
</ul>
<p><strong>2. Facility operations & asset integrity</strong></p>
<ul>
<li>Manage daily operations of the physical training centre, including gymnasium, functional training spaces, games areas (inside and outside), stretching and group exercise areas, swimming and sauna areas</li>
<li>Ensure the facility is clean, hygienic, and orderly; safe, ventilated, and fit for purpose; operated within approved capacity</li>
<li>Conduct and record daily, weekly, and monthly equipment inspections</li>
<li>Coordinate planned preventive maintenance (PPM) and corrective maintenance through maintenance teams</li>
<li>Ensure fitness equipment is certified, serviceable, and used in accordance with manufacturer requirements, including pool maintenance</li>
<li>Control access and prevent misuse of equipment</li>
</ul>
<p><strong>3. Fitness programmes & user safety</strong></p>
<ul>
<li>Deliver or supervise fitness programmes suitable for shift workers, rotational personnel, and physically demanding roles</li>
<li>Conduct mandatory gym inductions for all users</li>
<li>Ensure users are briefed on safe exercise techniques and personal responsibility for fitness activities</li>
<li>Support injury prevention, mobility, and fatigue management initiatives</li>
<li>Coordinate with site ISOS medical team and KBR HSSE team for wellness, rehabilitation, or return-to-work support</li>
</ul>
<p><strong>4. Supervision & IFMS administration</strong></p>
<ul>
<li>Supervise gym attendants, fitness instructors, or subcontracted staff (if applicable)</li>
<li>Enforce discipline, behavioral standards, and professional conduct aligned with KBR Code of Conduct and KBR Values and Ethics</li>
<li>Maintain accurate records for user inductions, attendance, equipment inspections, and HSSE documentation</li>
<li>Provide input to monthly IFMS reports and KPIs including facility utilization, HSSE observations, incidents / near misses, and equipment availability</li>
<li>Deliver toolbox talks and participate in KBR HSSE meetings as required</li>
<li>Prepare fitness programs, welfare event calendars, and manage sports events</li>
</ul>
<p><strong>5. Client & stakeholder interface</strong></p>
<ul>
<li>Act as the primary interface for fitness facility matters between KBR IFMS staff, KBR HSSE and site services providers, and site medical team</li>
<li>Address client observations, workforce feedback, and corrective actions</li>
<li>Support field wellbeing campaigns and continuous improvement initiatives</li>
<li>Represent KBR IFMS in a professional and client-focused manner at all times</li>
</ul>
<h4>Qualifications & certifications</h4>
<p><strong>Essential</strong></p>
<ul>
<li>Formal qualification in physical training, sports science, physical education, or fitness instruction</li>
<li>Certified fitness instructor / personal trainer</li>
<li>Valid first aid, CPR, and AED certification or medical experience</li>
</ul>
<p><strong>Desirable</strong></p>
<ul>
<li>NEBOSH IGC / IOSH Managing Safely or equivalent</li>
<li>Experience working under KBR IFMS contracts</li>
<li>Prior experience on Majnoon or IOC operated sites</li>
<li>Mental health or wellbeing programme awareness</li>
</ul>
<h4>Experience</h4>
<ul>
<li>Minimum 3–5 years’ experience supervising a fitness or training facility</li>
<li>Experience in remote, industrial, or high-risk environments</li>
<li>Oil & gas, EPC, EPCM, or construction camp experience preferred</li>
</ul>
