<p><b>Purpose for this Service:</b></p><p>The ILO is seeking a qualified event management service provider to deliver the venue, interpretation, catering, printing, media, visibility and logistical services required for the 2 events in Erbil.</p><p>High-level Event: Five Years of Social Protection Reform in the Kurdistan Region – Monday 31 August</p><p>2026, from 09:00 to 13:00.</p><p>The event marks five years of the EU-UN Joint Programme's support to social protection reform in the Kurdistan Region. The standard of delivery expected is that of a national event attended by senior government officials, the diplomatic community and senior ILO representatives.</p><p>The service provider will be responsible for ensuring the smooth organization of the event, including venue arrangements, interpretation services, catering, meeting materials, media and visibility requirements, participant support, and all related logistical coordination in line with ILO standards.</p><p>Registration opens at 08:30 hrs. The date is indicative and may be moved within the contract period by written instruction of the ILO.</p><p>• Facilitate a well-organized high-level launch event on 1 September 2026, from 09:00 to 13:00, for up to 80 participants in a four-star or five-star hotel approved by UNDSS.</p><p><br></p><p>• Provide simultaneous interpretation in Kurdish (Sorani), Arabic and English, with sufficient professional interpreters, booths/equipment and headsets for up to 80 participants, including access to interpretation channels for remote participants.</p><p>• Arrange 2-night accommodation and DSA for eligible participants travelling from Duhok, Sulaymaniyah, Halabja and Baghdad, and arrange round-trip Baghdad-Erbil-Baghdad air tickets for nine Baghdad participants.</p><p>• Provide the materials and setup required for formal validation and adoption of the Forum Terms of Reference, including printed ToR copies, an adoption/signing table and an approved branded backdrop/photo area.</p><p>High-Level Event: Launch of KRI Social Dialogue Forum – Tuesday 01 September 2026, from 09:00 to 11:00</p><p>The launch event seeks at establishing an institutional and formal arrangement for social dialogue within the Kurdistan Region of Iraq (KRI)</p><p>The service provider will be responsible for ensuring the smooth organization of the event, including venue arrangements, interpretation services, catering, meeting materials, media and visibility requirements, participant support, and all related logistical coordination in line with ILO standards.</p><p><br></p><p>• Facilitate a well-organized half-day high-level event in Erbil for up to 60 participants, in a four-star or five-star hotel approved by the United Nations Department of Safety and Security.</p><p>• Support all arrangements for simultaneous English and Kurdish (Sorani) interpretation, hybrid connection, catering, printing, media coverage, visibility materials, and accommodation for participants travelling from outside Erbil.</p><p>• Ensure logistical and technical arrangements for a half-day event are complete, tested and in place before the opening session, in accordance with ILO branding and operational requirements.</p><p><br></p><p>Event date(s) from/to:</p><p>High-level Event: Five Years of Social Protection Reform in the Kurdistan Region – Monday 31 August 2026, from 09:00 to 13:00. Designs are provided or approved by the ILO. No photograph, film or other material produced under this contract may be published or released by the service provider without the prior written approval of the ILO.</p><p>9) 9) The service provider assigns a named focal point who is present at the venue before registration starts on each event day and remains until the venue is cleared, and who is reachable by telephone from the date of signature.</p><p><strong>Desired Candidate Profile</strong></p><p><br></p>
<p>Serve as focal point for the design and development of new programmes / projects in close coordination with Senior Technical Coordinators. Analyze and assess data and outcomes on programme implementation and indicators and coordinate the preparation of regular implementation and progress reports, in coordination with project teams and Resources Management Officer (RMO) and in accordance with IOM procedures and donor requirements. Maintain up-to-date knowledge of all projects and programmes implemented by IOM Iraq. Identify new project opportunities, describe and justify project possibilities consistent with approved programmes and ongoing activities, and participate in the preparation of project proposals and budgets in coordination with relevant units. Lead on the preparation and organization of donors visits in coordination with Heads of Units, Technical and operational teams. Guide, train and supervise PSU teams members, emphasizing the capacity building and development of new team members and training on internal systems. Oversee all administrative and performance matters within the programme support team, and coordinate with IOM programmes and RMU to rationalize and streamline project administration and other financial procedures and guidelines, including monitoring the planning and expenditure of staffing budget lines. Undertakefield visits to project sites and provide ad-hoc support to field activities, field monitoring and verifications, as maybe required. Perform such otherduties as may be assigned.</p><p><strong>Desired Candidate Profile</strong></p><p>Required Qualifications and Experience Education Master s degree in Finance, Business Administration, Political Science, International Relations or a related field from an accredited academic institution with five years of relevant professional experience; or, University degree in the above fields with seven years of relevant professional experience. Accredited Universities are those listed in the UNESCO World Higher Education Database Experience Previous experience working in an international organization and knowledge of the UN is essential; Experience in project development, project management, reporting and monitoring & evaluation; Experience preparing reports, budgets, statistics and coordinate administrative activities; Experience in liaising with governmental and diplomatic authorities as well as with international institutions; Previous experience with and knowledge of foreign government funding mechanisms is essential; Experience in finance, administration, logistics and procurement and human resources, with a substantial focus on efficient and on-time management of projects; and, Previous work experience in an emergency mission is an advantage. <p>Under general autonomy and wide scope: The Well Engineering Manager functions as a technical Subject Matter Expert (SME), typically at the Country level staying abreast of current industry and PSL technological developments.</p><p>This position is accountable for the implementation of Engineering processes with respect to quality and integrity assurance. Reviews and maintains HMS processes to ensure the management system remains up-to-date with industry best practices. <p>We are seeking experienced and dynamic trainers to join our roster of trainers delivering employability and professional skills training to youth and young professionals across the MENA region. Trainers will deliver Amideast employability and professional skills curricula and facilitate engaging workshops that equip participants with the essential skills to succeed in today s job market. We are seeking trainers with experience delivering one or more of the following: Professional communication, workplace etiquette, and cross-cultural communication Emotional intelligence, interpersonal skills, and workplace relationships Giving and receiving feedback, conflict management, and difficult conversations Professional effectiveness, time management, and workplace practices Effective meetings, teamwork, and collaboration Critical thinking, problem-solving, and decision-making Leadership, people management, and performance management Digital workplace skills and collaboration Career readiness, including CV/resume writing, interview skills, job search, and career planning Placement on the trainer roster does not guarantee a minimum number of assignments or hours. Training is delivered at client premises, at Amideast facilities, or online, depending on the assignment. The trainer is not based in an Amideast office and will use office space only where it is the venue for a scheduled training session or in preparation for assignments. Travel to client training locations within the Kurdistan Region of Iraq is required for in-person assignments.
