<li>Responsible for the day-to-day plant optimisation.</li>
<li>Identifies production vulnerabilities and optimization opportunities to support production forecast and grow IPC.</li>
<li>Responsible for ensuring robust plant monitoring routines are completed with all deviations acted on and ensuring system is fit for purpose.</li>
<li>Support investigations (e.g. 5 Whys) for all process safety incidents, production losses and product quality issues over defined limits.</li>
<li>Drive clear prioritisation of vulnerabilities so action is focused in the right areas.</li>
<li>Actively lead and ensure participation in continuous improvement projects on your sites and promote the benefit of the CI philosophy to engage the site teams in this process.</li>
</ul>
<h4>Experience, qualifications & key skills</h4>
<ul>
<li>Above 10 years experience in O&G industry (preferable with IOC’s direct or contract)</li>
<li>Technical degree in chemical engineering or allied engineering subject.</li>
<li>Previous experience in asset engineering / operations engineering role</li>
<li>Practical / operational exposure to production facilities</li>
<li>Excellent communication, interpersonal and coaching skills</li>
<li>Strong bias for being proactive and getting results</li>
<li>Excellent IT skills – office suite, document management, applications for CMMS and change management.</li>
<li>Contribute to an environment in which all team members are respected regardless of their individual differences and are motivated to improve both their individual and team contributions to achieve desired business results</li>
<li>Skilled in behaviour change management</li>

<section><p class="heading jdMain">Job Description</p><p class="heading">Roles & Responsibilities</p><div class="paragraph"><p>Under general supervision from the Production Manager, The Production Supervisor works in a multi-discipline Asset Operations Team to develop potentially large and challenging unconventional plays and mature oil and gas fields. Identifies innovative ways to apply HAL technology, service capability and expertise within the context of understanding the reservoir, production and facilities to design new, step-change field exploitation methodologies. Integral member of the multi-discipline Production Team comprised of a reservoir engineer, production geologist and field personnel team. Analyzes production history, well files, production equipment and decline curve analysis and nodal analysis of well performance to estimate remaining recoverable reserves, production and cost of upgrading equipment. Selects and implements production technology, service capability and expertise including completion systems comprised of tubing selection, perforating, sand control and fine migration, matrix stimulation, water control and hydraulic fracturing; artificial lift equipment comprised of sucker-rod lift, gas lift, electrical submersible pumps, subsurface hydraulic pumps, progressing-cavity pumps and plunger lift; real-time surveillance and monitoring systems and waterflooding and other enhanced recovery techniques. Uses decline curve analysis and nodal analysis to identify workovers or recompletions candidates and to select and upgrade production equipment. Focuses on maintaining and increasing daily production through optimizing well performance and field operations while controlling operating costs. Performs daily field operations including optimizing well behavior, production, water disposal, chemical injection and treatment, waterflood performance and artificial lift systems. Evaluates proposed modifications to equipment or to operating procedures to improve safety, efficiency and reliability of equipment and ensures all modifications meet statutory and Company standards.
