<p>This role aims to provide environmental technical support to the MFD. This role has a strong emphasis on environmental compliance and emergency response. <h4>Duties and responsibilities</h4>

<h4>Overview</h4>
<p>The Delivery Coordinator will serve as the primary integrator between the construction and commissioning teams across multiple projects, ensuring smooth and efficient coordination of all interfaces. These projects include, but are not limited to, tie-ins, power projects, oil and gas projects and facilities. The role involves close collaboration with the client's project and operations team to ensure project alignment, successful completion and handover.</p>
<h4>Key responsibilities</h4>

<li><strong>Construction & mechanical completion</strong><br>
Act as the liaison between the construction and commissioning teams to ensure a seamless transition from mechanical completion to commissioning.<br>
Oversee and track the mechanical completion status and ensure all relevant documentation is provided to the commissioning team.<br>
Facilitate the timely handover of systems from construction to commissioning, ensuring all pre-commissioning activities are completed as per the agreed schedule.<br>

Ensure that all interface-related activities (tie-ins, utilities, etc.) are communicated and planned in coordination with the client's project and operations team.<br>
Maintain a comprehensive interface register to track and manage all critical points of interaction between construction and commissioning teams.</li>
<li><strong>Commissioning support</strong><br>
Work closely with the commissioning team to support requirements for pre-commissioning and commissioning activities in line with schedule.<br>
Monitor the readiness of sub-systems, systems and equipment for commissioning, ensuring any potential bottlenecks are communicated and addressed promptly.<br>
Ensure that commissioning requirements remain a focus during construction phases in line with schedule requirements to avoid delays or rework during the pre-commissioning and commissioning stages.<br>
Support and facilitate start-up readiness and assurance including pre-start-up audits and checks (i.e. TIV, PSSR, SUOP, PSUA, SOF, VCR) where applicable.<br>
Support and facilitate communication and coordination with commissioning and operational readiness to ensure a smooth transition through commissioning, ready for start-up (RFSU), start-up and handover; ensuring a collaborated approach with client's project and operations teams.</li>

The role will be responsible for the management and coordination of the Wells QAQC team. The emphasis of this position is to ensure the growing demand for QAQC is met and managers are informed, along with the development of local workforce. The Iraq Joint Office was established in April 2026 as a shared platform through which the three National Societies coordinate and strengthen their partnership with the Iraqi Red Crescent Society. The Joint Office represents a commitment to greater collaboration, coherence and effectiveness in supporting humanitarian action by Iraqi Red Crescent Society. While the employment contract is initially held by Danish Red Cross as part of a rotating management arrangement among the participating National Societies, the Country Manager serves as the senior leader and representative of the Joint Office as a whole. The role provides strategic leadership across all Joint Office activities and represents the collective engagement of Danish Red Cross, German Red Cross and Norwegian Red Cross in Iraq. Working closely with the IRCS, the Country Manager will ensure that support is coordinated, principled, needs-based and aligned with the priorities across a range of thematic areas. About the Context Iraq continues its transition from conflict towards recovery and development while facing significant humanitarian, economic, environmental and governance challenges. You combine strategic vision with strong operational management skills and have the ability to unite diverse stakeholders around a common purpose. Required Experience and Qualifications</p><ul><li>Relevant university degree in international development, humanitarian action, public health, social sciences, management or a related field.</li><li>Minimum 8 years of progressively responsible experience in humanitarian and/or development programming.</li><li>Significant leadership experience in complex international settings.</li><li>Proven experience managing partnerships, programmes, budgets and teams.</li><li>Experience working with institutional donors and donor compliance requirements.</li><li>Demonstrated ability to represent organisations externally and engage effectively with senior stakeholders.</li><li>Experience supporting organisational development and capacity strengthening.</li><li>Strong financial management and strategic planning skills.</li><li>Excellent written and spoken English.</li></ul><p>Desirable Experience and Skills</p><ul><li>Previous experience in the Middle East and North Africa region.</li><li>Previous experience working with the Red Cross Red Crescent Movement.</li><li>Experience in health & PSS, DRM, cash-based-assistance, climate adaptation.</li><li>Arabic language skills.</li><li>Hostile Environment Awareness Training (HEAT) or equivalent.</li></ul><p></p></section>
