<p><h4>Job description</h4>
<p>The operations manager will be based at one of the three Amentum sites in Iraq and serve the Operations and Maintenance Support Services (OMSS) contract in support of the U.S. Department of State. This position will be responsible for taking ownership of all site operational responsibilities to include directing the daily performance of the organization, planning, scheduling and training processes to meet the requirements of the contract. This position will report to the OMSS program manager. <p>EPP III, Generator (3 - 150KW) and HVAC Technician SWA (Bahrain, UAE, Saudia Arabia, Kuwait, Jordan, Iraq) Perform troubleshooting, diagnostics, maintenance, and services on all types of military and commercial generators and HVAC systems used by the U.S. Army to include the 150kW EPP III generators.</p><p>MEANINGFUL WORK AND PERSONAL IMPACT As a Generator and HVAC Mechanic, the work you ll do at GDIT will be impactful to the mission of the Worldwide Field Support contract for the U.S. Army. You ll play a crucial role in providing on-site technical and maintenance assistance, analyzing complex technical problems, and providing training to site operations and maintenance personnel.</p><p>Perform maintenance and sustainment support on 3kW to 150kW, 500 0hz generators involving installation and removal of generators from fixed and mobile locations, troubleshoots and repair alternating current (AC) systems, direct current (DC) systems, electronic control systems and other program logic controls, electrical wiring and accessories. Troubleshoot and repair HVAC, Chillers, and Environmental Control Units some are standalone units and others are mounted on trailers and vehicles. Maintain all types of commercial power generation equipment; military spec generators and Uninterrupted Power Systems (UPS). Operate a Load bank during testing Fabricate wire harnesses and solder terminals. Some work will be in a generator shop environment, and some work will be in a field environment.
