<p><h4>Essential responsibilities:</h4>
<p>The aircraft mechanic II - avionics performs aircraft maintenance to include inspection, operational test, repair, modification and replacement of aircraft electrical/avionics systems and components. Applies technical knowledge and skills to troubleshoot electrical/avionics discrepancies.</p>

<li>Possess in-depth knowledge of applicable maintenance/technical manuals and publications, and special tools and test equipment. Must be familiar with operational capabilities and limitations of electrical/avionics systems.</li>

<h4>Work environment, physical demands, and mental demands:</h4>
<p>Work location is Balad Iraq. Requires sitting, standing, and walking for extended periods of time. Requires frequent climbing, bending, stooping, squatting, crawling, crouching, kneeling, lifting, carrying, balancing and reaching above shoulder level, pushing or pulling weight up to 70 pounds. Requires eye-hand coordination and manual dexterity. Must have close vision to include color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and the ability to adjust focus. Requires hearing to normal range. May require use of respirator. Requires shift work and a diversity of working conditions that range from a standard shop/hangar type environment, where there may be no physical discomfort, to an environment where inclement weather may subject individual to severe changes in temperature, direct sun, wind, rain, etc. May be required to work in areas where noise hazards are prevalent. Exposure to high intensity noise levels, extreme changes in temperature, materials identified on material safety data sheets; working on or around aircraft and machinery. <p>The Chief Medical Officer is responsible for providing medical oversight, direction, and leadership to the medical staff regarding all areas of healthcare for the project. They also provide on-site medical support and healthcare services to the client and customer work force that is comprised of US Government personnel, US nationals, foreign nationals, local/host country national employees, and a small group of Iraq military personnel at an Iraqi military base. Oversee, supervise and manage the operation of all medical services, including overall supervision of all medical personnel. Provides leadership, oversight, and accountability for the operational effectiveness of medical services delivered on project. Leads quality development and clinical governance agendas including maintaining Code of Conduct of medical practice, medical record keeping, infection control standards, emergency response. preparedness, medical staff, and patient safety at the facility. Serves as the chair of the Medical Executive Committee (MEC) which meets monthly. Ensures that meeting minutes are written and uploaded to Share Point. Provides oversight of other committees of the facility (e.g. Pharmacy & Therapeutics, Credential and Privileging, Peer Review, Infection Control). Ensure that the committees report regularly to the MEC. Ensures that monthly routine peer review of medical charts is performed, and peer review results are uploaded to Share Point. Ensures that all Focus Professional Practice Evaluations (FPPE) and Ongoing Professional Practice Evaluations (OPPE) are current. Provides direction, as appropriate to clinical case management including patient movements and referral off island in close collaboration with insurance companies and company medevac providers. Works closely with the other leaders supporting the ROBR2 project to ensure business continuity from a medical aspect. Promotes International SOS Government Medical Services, Inc. Standard Operating Procedures and Protocols. Supervises all healthcare providers including physicians, surgeons, mid-level providers and dentist. Provides strategic direction for medical staff and physician services programs to meet short- and longterm goals. Serves as the clinical leader for the organization and provides support and education for other clinical leaders. Reports on metrics to measure the impact of physician services. Participates in the development of administrative policies and approves medical practice procedures, policies, guidelines, and SOPs. Provides advice on the suitability of existing medical equipment and makes recommendations on future equipment needs. Ensures periodic review of practice management functions and reviews patient satisfaction surveys and complaints. Participates in site meetings with onsite government representatives as requested by the Project Manager. Participates in all government audits under the SOW as requested by the Project Manager. Provide medical evaluation and triage of patients. Examine and diagnose patients for illness and injury. Treat emergent, acute and chronic conditions, evaluate symptoms, offer preventative care. Prescribe and administer medication, treatment, and therapies. Order, perform, interpret test results and analyze records and reports. Provide follow-up care for patients as needed. Collect, record, and maintain accurate patient health information and histories. Liaise with other medical staff to ensure continuity of care. Ensures that all medical records are meticulously and accurately maintained. Provide medical evaluations to include annual employee physicals, medical testing and the issuance of required immunizations. Ensure the contractor workforce is compliant with applicable US and host national laws for medical clearances. Stabilize and manage medical evacuation (MEDEVAC) services for patients identified as requiring higher level evaluation or services. Provide liaison with external agencies where required to promote chain of care continuity and professional referral/patient handover. Ensure best practice in line with clinical guidelines and SOPs. Actively participates in Mass Casualty exercises and events. Completes required organizational compliance education, including assigned requirements that are client-specified, for Joint Commission Healthcare Staffing Services certification or other regulatory bodies. <p>The role of Operations Coordinator focused on inventory management, asset utilisation, procurement coordination, and logistics support across a regional operation. Liaising with client on any operational issues. Responsibilities: Locate and identify underutilised assets in the region. Monitor expendable supply stocks in each location in the region. Move excess stocks of expendables from location to location to consume excess. Set-up central expendable stock points that serve outlying locations using a hub & spoke distribution plan. Place replenishment orders for the central stock point with no purchases made at the outlying locations. We help children of all backgrounds, even in the most dangerous places, inspired by our Christian faith.<br>Come join our 31,000+ staff working in nearly 100 countries and share the joy of transforming vulnerable children’s life stories!</p><br><p><u>Employee Contract Type:</u></p><br>Local - Fixed Term Employee (Fixed Term)<p><u>Job Description:</u></p><br><p><b>Key Responsibilities</b></p><br><p><b>55% Protection Activties :</b></p><br><ul><li><p>Coordinate and communicate with other departments internally.</p><br></li><li><p>Consult technical issues with Technical Adviser(s) in and seek appropriate support whenever necessary.</p><br></li><li><p>Work closely with MEAL team.</p><br></li><li><p>Coordinate with P&C to recruit field staff ( Casuals) when necessary and follow up any issues according to P&C policy and Procedure.</p><br></li><li><p>In coordination with the Project Coordinator to work with S&C and Finance for procurement as necessary.</p><br></li><li><p>Supervise Casuals in supporting cases, case planning, case conferences and closures.</p><br></li><li><p>Attend and represent WVI at the inter-agency and coordination meetings (prottection working groups and others) as agreed with Project manager / Project Coordinator and Technical Advisor.</p><br></li><li><p>Develop monthly and weekly activity and procurement plans and implement as well as monitor to achieve expected results as planned.</p><br></li><li><p>Under the supervision of Project manager/ Project Coordinator , ensure that all planned activities are implemented on time, within the budget according to quality standards.</p><br></li><li><p>Ensures timely update the progress and any issues of field activities to Project manager / Project Coordinator and Protection and education technical adviser.</p><br></li><li><p>Support in preparation of all procurement and administrative documents required for program implementation.</p><br></li><li><p>Provide different trainings to community mobilizer, casuals and project participants in education and protection sectors.</p><br></li><li><p>Support the development and use of training materials (IEC materials, session plans, guidance tools) and ensure quality delivery and follow-up of training.</p><br></li><li><p>Ensure a context-based mechanism to be in place to hear the voices of the community for WVI project interventions.</p><br></li><li><p>Strengthen meaningful child/youth participation at the community level.</p><br></li><li><p>Assist in identifying, reporting and responding to existing and potential child protection threats at the community level.</p><br></li><li><p>Create an environment of open communication, creative thinking, and cohesive team effort.</p><br></li><li><p>Facilitate beneficiary training and coordinate with line directorates or private sector to conduct training to project beneficiaries.</p><br></li><li><p>Support Project coordinator / Manager in managing budget</p><br></li><li><p>Support in Mainstreaming and integrating GESI across all the project activities</p><br></li></ul><p><b>10% Project Management (Quality Implementation, Financial & Risk Management):</b></p><br><ul><li><p>Assist in establishing and overseeing systems to efficiently control the quality of protection initiatives, ensuring activities meet donor and community expectations.</p><br></li><li><p>Apply quality benchmarks to the project in coordination with the MEAL team to monitor and improve project performance.</p><br></li><li><p>Maintain project budgets to ensure the efficient use of resources</p><br></li><li><p>Coordinate with finance and procurement teams to ensure timely delivery of materials and resources necessary for project implementation.</p><br></li><li><p>Manage day-to-day grant activities, ensuring that project activities comply with the grant agreement and expenditures align with grant guidelines.</p><br></li><li><p>Ensure local partners fulfil their roles as per the Memorandum of Understanding (MoU), maintaining accountability and performance standards.</p><br></li><li><p>Identify potential risks in project implementation and work with relevant teams to develop mitigation strategies</p><br></li></ul><p><b>10% Coordination with local community groups/ Government Departments/ Other stake holders (Internal and External):</b></p><br><ul><li><p>When required, collaborate with the Operations Manager, Project Coordinator and Technical Advisor to represent World Vision at interagency coordination meetings. Actively participate in Protection Working Gorup, and coordination Meetings and attend relevant state-level meetings.</p><br></li><li><p>Represent WVI projects on internal World Vision Communities of Practice (CoPs) and working groups and other relevant forums.</p><br></li><li><p>Coordinate day-to-day operations and financial management of protection activities, ensuring all implemented activities align with approved project work plans. Liaise with the Project Coordinator, Project Manager and Technical Advisor to ensure smooth project execution.</p><br></li><li><p>Community and Authority Engagement:</p><br></li><li><p>Liaise with beneficiary communities, protection technical working groups, and local authorities to ensure project sites are selected according to project design requirements and community needs.</p><br></li><li><p>Coordinate with school management and the Directorate of Education to ensure smooth implementation of school-based activities</p><br></li><li><p>Assist in obtaining necessary approvals for protection activities from local authorities and relevant government departments.</p><br></li><li><p>Foster strong relationships with community groups and government departments to facilitate effective project implementation and ensure alignment with local policies and regulations.</p><br></li><li><p>Support collaboration with local partners and stakeholders to ensure the successful implementation of protection initiatives. Ensure all stakeholders are informed and engaged throughout the project lifecycle.</p><br></li></ul><p><b>10% Monitoring, Reporting and Administration:</b></p><br><ul><li><p>Draft monthly report including all required information of the updates of the activities and make sure of submitting on time.</p><br></li><li><p>Ensure project documentation is up to date and project records, photos and contracts, correspondences are filed.</p><br></li><li><p>Assist with monitoring the indicators and quality benchmarks to achieve the targets.</p><br></li><li><p>Contribute to the preparation of internal and external reports.</p><br></li><li><p>Support Project Manager/ Project Coordinator in compiling the reports through managing all the project data to be provided at any time necessary. </p><br></li><li><p>Provide inputs and/or actions to address the issue of Accountability shared by MEAL team.</p><br></li><li><p>Support project manager/ Project Coordinator to administer project budget to ensure accurate and timely budget spending.</p><br></li></ul><p><b>10% Staff Management (Learning and capacity building):</b></p><br><ul><li><p>With the support of the Manager/ Project Coordinator, develop staff planning and provide guidance and support to the field staff/ Casuals in their role/tasks.</p><br></li><li><p>Assist the Manager in recruiting of casuals as needed.</p><br></li><li><p>Keep a positive, flexible and dynamic work environment.</p><br></li><li><p>Maintain regular coordination meetings (or other if needed) to ensure good coordination within the team.</p><br></li><li><p>Ensure that the field staff clearly understand their daily tasks, project goal and expected results in short/long term</p><br></li><li><p>Build capacity of casuals through coaching, mentoring, and on-the-job training, particularly in child protection, education, facilitation, and community engagement.</p><br></li></ul><p><b>5% Others:</b></p><br><ul><li><p> Ensure that organizational security measures and directives are integrated into project.</p><br></li><li><p>Any other duties relating to the nature of the job</p><br></li><li><p>Other tasks as requested by the Line Manager and/or Response Manager.</p><br></li></ul><p><u>Applicant Types Accepted:</u></p><br>Local Applicants Only </div>
