Design and develop electrical systems to the required specifications, focusing on economy, safety, reliability and quality. Invent new approaches to problems, and prepare or modify drawings, specifications, calculations, charts and graphs. Is responsible for the counterfeit review and inspection of all electronic parts or end items, components, parts, or assemblies that contain electronic parts to determine their authenticity. Researches and validates electrical certifications to meet ARCENT electrical requirements. Electrical Inspector inspects, analyzes, and assesses all cases of suspected counterfeit material and develops inspection packet. Ensures compliance with requisite contractual, US Government, DoD, U.S. Army, local and safety, regulations, codes, policies, guidelines and instructions. <section><p class="heading jdMain">Job Description</p><p class="heading">Roles & Responsibilities</p><div class="paragraph"><p> It seeks to address critical challenges related to water scarcity, climate change, and agricultural productivity through targeted infrastructure and capacity-building interventions. The project focuses on three key objectives: 1. Water Management: Improve water availability and increase irrigation efficiency to ensure sustainable water supply for agricultural production in the targeted governorates. 2. Climate Change Adaptation: Reduce the impacts of climate change, particularly declining rainfall and increasing water scarcity, by supporting more resilient and efficient irrigated agriculture systems. 3. Agricultural Development: Enhance the productivity and profitability of smallholder farmers and agri-businesses, contributing to improved livelihoods and economic opportunities for vulnerable rural communities. As part of its implementation responsibilities, OUR CLIENT will oversee the design and rehabilitation of irrigation infrastructure, including the lining of water canals, installation of closed irrigation systems, and rehabilitation of pumping stations. The project is expected to be implemented by a team of approximately five personnel and has an estimated budget of USD 12 million. 2. Purpose and Scope of Assignment The HSSE Field Monitor will report directly to the HSSE Senior Analyst / Project Manager and will work in close coordination with Site Engineers and other project team members. The primary function of the HSSE Field Monitor is to support the implementation and monitoring of health, safety, social and environmental measures at project field sites, ensuring that all activities are conducted in compliance with applicable HSSE standards, OUR CLIENT policies, and international best practices. The HSSE Field Monitor shall carry out routine field-level inspections, observation of work activities, reporting of hazards and incidents, and support to awareness-raising efforts among workers and contractors on construction or development project sites. Specific Duties and Responsibilities More specifically, the HSSE Field Monitor will be responsible for the following tasks: Conduct daily site inspections to monitor compliance with HSSE requirements and identify hazards or non-conformities. Observe and report unsafe acts or conditions to the HSSE Analyst or Project Manager and follow up on corrective actions. Support the implementation of Contractor Health and Safety Plans as well as Social and Environmental Management Plans at the field level. Assist in the identification, documentation, and reporting and investigation of incidents, accidents, and near-misses, including gathering witness statements and photographic evidence. Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of HSSE inspections, checklists, and field monitoring reports. Conduct regular field inspections to verify that the contractor is distributing appropriate PPE to all workers in accordance with the project's HSSE requirements and ESMP provisions, and monitor workers' correct and consistent use of PPE on site at all times, documenting any non-compliance and issuing corrective action requests to the contractor accordingly. Support the induction of new workers, contractors, and visitors on site-specific HSSE rules, emergency procedures and safe work practices. Monitor environmental compliance at site level, including waste management, Noise and dust control, water management, and protection of surrounding communities. Assist in the implementation of the CCRM by receiving and logging community grievances at field level and escalating to the relevant team members. Support stakeholder engagement activities and community consultations related to HSSE matters. Participate in HSSE toolbox talks, safety meetings, and training sessions organized for field workers and contractors. Report any social concerns or issues affecting local communities or vulnerable groups near project sites to the HSSE Analyst. Ensure all Health and Safety signage, barriers, and demarcations are correctly installed and maintained on site. Contribute to the preparation of weekly and monthly HSSE field monitoring reports. <p>Determine, review and establish the local and international policies, standards and specifications required for mechanical engineering work related to building construction and refurbishment, water supply stations and water wells, water supply networks for the project in Iraq. Carry out inspections of the water supply facilities to be constructed, assess the current situation of the mechanical systems, and design suitable upgrades/replacement of existing mechanical systems to meet the local and international standards and specifications applicable, and in consultation with all stakeholders. And or, propose, design the replacements and new installations. Prepare and/or review detailed mechanical engineering design documentation including drawings, specifications and scope of work reports to be included in water supply facilities construction tender documents. Prepare quality control and quality assurance documentation related to mechanical engineering work for new water supply facilities. and rehabilitation works. Assist the PM, Deputy PM, Water Supply Engineer and the QA/QC Engineer in the preparation of bidding documents for the new water supply facilities. Supervise on-site works carried out by contractors closely on a day to day basis to ensure quality of the works is monitored and controlled as per specification requirements. Prepare and submit progress reports to the Project Manager/Deputy PM at intervals agreed upon. Ensure safety and health of everyone involved in the project and general public by identifying risks and threats, planning, implementing and maintaining internationally acceptable safety standards in all aspects, at all stages of the project. Ensure all design and construction of water supply facilities and mechanical works is carried out in accordance with and in compliance with industry standards and international best practice energy efficiency principles, standards, guidelines and specification. Provide expert advice to all stakeholders including contractors, PM/Deputy PM, project staff , clients and donor agencies on Mechanical engineering related water supply facilities works where required. Preparing Mechanical drawing package including for new and or rehabilitation works. Preparing Mechanical SOW (scope of work) with technical specification including water wells, pump stations, water supply networks and related works, plumbing and fire protection systems. Designing and preparing a package of water supply and sanitation systems for small and medium scale projects. Using S-pipe and D-pipe or any other relevant and applicable software Create and review technical drawings, plans, and specifications using computer software and prepare design packages in line with client`s design planning manual and design reviewers instructions. Coordinate while required, with design reviewers and incorporate their comments if any. Perform detailed documentation to track project development and design process Ensure project timeline is met and project stays within budget Support the project team in the evaluation and endorsement of objectives and goals of contractor plans, including staffing and budgeting, milestone descriptions, risk management strategies, detailed schedules and scope descriptions, and work breakdown structures Check to assure all materials and /equipment have been tested, submitted and approved. Review all submittals to insure compliance with the plans and specification Inspect all material, equipment and mechanical tools delivered, at the time of receipt, to ensure compliance with submittals, and specifications. <p>The Operations Manager will be based at the Baghdad Embassy Compound (BEC) site in Iraq and serve the Operations and Maintenance Support Services (OMSS) contract in support of the U.S. Department of State. <p>The Program Property Manager will be based at an Amentum site in Iraq and serve both the Operations and Maintenance Support Services (OMSS) and the Baghdad Life Support Services (BLiSS) contract in support of the U.S. Department of State. This position will be responsible for ensuring that Government property is properly identified and tracked from acquisition to disposition. The property Manager will collaborate with and report to the Program Logistics Manager to schedule and resolve inventory discrepancies. The duties and responsibilities listed below are representative of the nature and level of work assigned and are not necessarily all inclusive.</p>
<p>DUTIES:</p>
<ul>
<li>Provide information and materials to these divisions as necessary to ensure adequate and legal documentation.</li>
<li>Ensure Property Department compliance with Property Management and Control Procedures.</li>
<li>Conduct random compliance audits on all sites/departments in Iraq.</li>
<li>Develop and execute corrective action plans for audit deficiencies and inventory accountable property.</li>
<li>Mentor lower-level Property Staff and custodians in proper process and procedures as they relate to Government Property.</li>
<li>Identify problem areas and recommends viable solutions.</li>
<li>Perform physical inventories of Government Furnished Property (GFP) and Contractor Acquired Property (CAP), as directed by the Property Management and Control Procedures and or the Logistics and Property Manager.</li>
<li>Ensure Government Property Identification numbers (GP) are properly assigned, prepare required schedule, and assist with identifying Lost, Damaged, & Destroyed property as well as excessive consumption.</li>
<li>Work closely with Property Custodians to ensure overall accountability of assets.</li>
<li>Track and record movement of all types of Government property. This includes movement from one point to another within a contractor s facility, movement between facilities, for any purpose, and protection during movement.</li>
<li>Conduct country-wide Property Training on yearly basis as well as establishes training plan for new hire employees and refresher training.</li>
<li>Ensure compliance with Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR), Statement of Work (SOW) and Standard Operating Procedures (SOP).</li>
