<p>We are seeking an experienced Mechanical Engineer to lead the complete MEP works for a prestigious 5-Star Hotel Project in Iraq.</p><p>The successful candidate will be responsible for managing the Mechanical, Electrical, Plumbing, Fire Fighting, ELV, and BMS works from design coordination through procurement, construction, testing & commissioning, and final handover while ensuring the highest standards of quality, safety, and schedule performance. The TL is responsible for setting and maintaining the highest standards of team presentation and capability to the client, and will coordinate the direction and management of the team. The TL ensures that the team meets all operational and training standards with assistance from the training team and that the team is fully compliant with Control Risks’ standard operating procedures (SOPs) and doctrine at all times. The TL assists in mission planning for all tasks as detailed by the Operations Manager. <p>Under direct supervision from the Production Supervisor: The Production Tech specializes in working in office, field, or laboratory recording and analyzing data and writing reports. Fieldwork includes assisting geologists and engineers with electronic, sonic, or nuclear measuring instruments that indicate the potential for oil and gas; gathering and analyzing well and production data; assisting in well optimization and well failure analysis and preparing monthly performance reports for each producing well. Office work includes reporting Key Performance Indicators (KPI) for production, new completes, recompletes and workovers and preparing Weekly Production Report and Up/Down Reports; Weekly Activity Report operations and Flowback Reports for new completes and recompletes. Laboratory work includes assisting geologists and engineers with electronic, sonic, or nuclear measuring instruments that indicate the potential for oil and gas; collecting formation, mud and soil samples and preparing the samples for laboratory analysis; conducting scientific tests on samples to determine content and characteristics; recording data from tests and compiling information from reports, computer databases and other sources; recording data such as well temperatures, pressures, flow rates and watercut and comparing actual productivity to estimates.</p><p><strong>Desired Candidate Profile</strong></p>Requires a high school diploma or equivalent. Undergraduate degree preferred. Requires a minimum 3 years' experience in production operations which includes experience in oil & gas operations. Strong computer skills, particularly with Microsoft software such as Excel, Word, PowerPoint and Outlook are preferable Minimum Qualifications: Minimum qualifications may be acquired through technical schools or equivalent related experience.
