Implements innovative solutions, technology advances, and methods to effectively deal with working out of sequence. Supports Lead Engineer in monitoring quality activities, drives and participates in squad checking, recommends improvements, and takes action where required. Assist Project Team in project documentation such as proposals, estimates, budgets and schedules Manage Offshore Structural design and any design changes within budget and schedule. Prepare and participate in weekly Offshore Structural meetings, prepare progress reports and follow required checking procedures. Review and advice on layouts, site preparation, etc., during technical evaluation stage of bidder’s proposals to assess technical capability and ensure compliance with project specifications Execute verification, studies and detail design following best engineering practices and optimization in term of cost, construction simplicity, operability and maintainability, HSSE. Determines technical issues, defines alternate solutions, establishes pros/cons for multiple solutions, and makes recommendations through official project documents such as technical queries, technical deviations, etc. Creates final documentation incorporating all relevant information and pursues customer approval.<br><br>Quality Assurance<br><br>Responsible for working within the provisions and guidelines of the Quality Assurance systems.<br><br>Safety<br><br>Responsible for personal safety safe working practices. Understand and follow OH&S procedures. Promoting health, safety and environmental awareness. <br><br>Industry Specific Experience<br><br>Vast experience in detail design in conceptual studies, FEED and detailed design of substructure, deck and bridges. Must have experience in Oil and Gas Industry experience in green-field and brown-field projects. <p>* Responsible for supervision of construction/installation works of relevant engineering disciplines executed by contractors to ensure Department's assigned projects are constructed in accordance with the approved Scope of Work, approved engineering design, approved Engineering Standards and Specifications followed, QHSE standards & specifications, in a timely manner to meet scheduled deadlines.* Review and provide comments on construction method statements, earthwork method statements, material submittals, commissioning procedures from start of construction of projects till completion and handover to end users.<br>* Responsible as performing authority for Permit to Work by the Contractors.* Responsible to take to lead and direct earthworks and geotechnical activities for major capital projects.<br>* Responsible to Provide technical assurances to all aspects of earthworks, from excavation, subgrade preparation to fill material selection and compaction.* Responsible to Interpret soil classification and geotechnical reports.<br>* Responsible to develop and monitor dewatering plan.* Assist and monitor the third-party field geotechnical engineer during construction project earthworks.<br>* Actively participate in construction meetings with consultants and contractors.* Coordinate with and promote teamwork amongst stakeholders, co-workers and external organizations. Job Summary and Purpose<br>Ensure that the Safety Management System is maintained up to date and ensure the safe operations / practices on the vessels that meet the Flag State regulations, legislations and Company requirements. As well as ensure the security of vessels by keeping abreast of security issues, intelligence, compliance with procedures, advising vessels on development and counter strategies.<br>Systems Management: <br>Implement the NSQL Management System for Continuous Improvement in line with the marine and shipping industry requirements, as well as the best practices. Implement the Company International Quality System Standards and maintain the policies and procedures for Quality and Environment certification (ISO 9001, 14001, OHSAS 45001). Maintain NSQL IMS to ensure that the updates are promptly made, using the Company ‘SMS Update System’ and within the ‘Management of Change’ process. Support process optimization initiatives and continuous improvement programs. Coordinate All NCR Meetings and Close out Follow ups. Coordinate Supplier NCR and support SCM for Vendor development and Evaluation. Quality, safety, and environmental objectives. Ability to lead initiatives for continual improvement based on data, audit outcomes, and management review inputs. Ability to support and guide departments in implementing changes to processes, documentation, and controls. Ensures changes are communicated, approved, and recorded within the system Ability to support definition of requirements for process‑supporting IT solutions. Confident in advising departments, process owners, and management on IMS topics and requirements.<br><br>You Can Help Us With These Qualifications<br><br>5–7 years of experience in IMS or QA/QC roles within Rotating Equipment / Oil & Gas / Turbomachinery industry. Hands-on experience with inspection, repair, and overhaul of rotating and turbo machinery. Minimum 3 years of experience in management systems or auditing. Strong knowledge of API standards is relevant to rotating equipment. Experience preparing ITPs, QCPs, and QA/QC dossiers. Strong computer skills (Excel, Word, Power Point; Power BI is an advantage).
