<p><h4>Primary duties</h4>
<h4>Leadership</h4>
<p>Deputises for the MA for any station maintenance needs if MA is not available (Validation / COW / Schedule / etc).</p>
<p>Contribute to an environment in which all team members are respected regardless of their individual differences and are motivated to improve both their individual and team contributions to achieve desired business results.</p>
<p>Responsible for progression of their own coaching and development against the MC training matrix – the MA will support timely delivery of direct reports personal delivery plan.</p>
<h4>Risk / operating discipline</h4>
<p>Supports MA to ensure the safe execution and coordination of maintenance activities in support of ROO’s standards, values, and behaviours is carried out inside assigned station.</p>
<p>Ensures a zero tolerance for overdue maintenance (SCE and anomaly management) to reduce risk to production, personnel, plant, and environment.</p>
<p>Supports compliance with the standardized work management process, including deferral and risk management.</p>
<p>Ensure management of change process is understood and followed.</p>
<p>Actively contributes and promotes a culture of open safety reporting and continuous improvement including weekly SVs as per schedule.</p>
<p>Conducts daily site surveys across all onsite equipment and skids and reports any defects to support safe and reliable operations.</p>
<p>Supports MA and operations team on returning plant to safe operation post planned interventions – timely GOC paperwork closeout (ITRs), people MC1 walkdowns, PSSR sign off.</p>
<h4>People</h4>
<p>Have close oversight of contractors for managed activities and review unpriced CTRs.</p>
<p>Engages with BOC and site maintenance leads to confirm alignment on priorities and to ensure readiness and efficient safe execution.</p>
<h4>Production delivery, optimisation & excellent performance</h4>
<p>Supporting the MA to ensure effective and efficient asset maintenance, covering multi-discipline preventative (PM) and corrective (CM) maintenance activities completed within the assigned station.</p>
<p>Coordinates the delivery of the 2-week maintenance schedule.</p>
<p>Supports MA and operations team on returning plant to safe operation post planned interventions (also relevant to OE, but included here due to production impact).</p>
<p>Coordinate the support services (scaffolds / cranes / excavation / etc) for maintenance activities by initiating requests and efficiently confirming work completion. Timely removal of hired equipment on completion of work scopes.</p>
<p>Accountable to the MA for maintaining the required daily updates / progress in the O&M tracker and department-specific daily reports.</p>
<p>Supports the MA in planning and maintaining opportune outage / Maint BB for site TAR and system outages.</p>
<h4>Experience, qualifications & key skills</h4>
<p>Above 3 years experience in O&G industry (preferable with IOC’s direct or contract).</p></p><p></p>

<li>Supervise daily installation of rotating equipment, static equipment, packaged units, tanks, vessels, piping, pipeline, pumps, compressors, turbines, filters, heat exchangers, chemical dosing equipment, lifting equipment, and associated auxiliaries.</li>
<li>Monitor equipment receipt, storage, preservation, handling, lifting, positioning, levelling, alignment, grouting, bolting, coupling, lubrication, and final installation.</li>
<li>Verify equipment location, orientation, elevations, access, maintainability, foundations, anchor bolts, supports, and interfaces against approved AFC drawings and vendor documentation.</li>
<li>Supervise associated piping interfaces, including nozzle connections, strain control, flange alignment, supports, valves, temporary strainers, cleanliness, and reinstatement.</li>
<li>Ensure work fronts are properly planned and required drawings, materials, tools, lifting plans, access, permits, vendor support, and preceding works are available.</li>
<li>Monitor preservation and protection of installed equipment until handover, including periodic rotation, desiccants, lubrication, weather protection, and preservation records as applicable.</li>

<strong>Technical compliance and quality</strong>

<li>Ensure execution complies with approved AFC drawings, specifications, equipment data sheets, vendor manuals, method statements, ITPs, and applicable international standards.</li>
<li>Participate in inspection requests and witness required hold and witness points with QA/QC personnel and vendor representatives.</li>
<li>Inspect equipment installation, alignment, levelling, soft-foot, grouting, bolting, lubrication, cleanliness, guards, supports, and general workmanship.</li>
<li>Witness or review mechanical tests and checks, including hydrostatic and pneumatic tests where applicable, flushing, blowing, cleaning, leak tests, shaft alignment, rotation checks, vibration baseline checks, and functional testing.</li>
<li>Review and follow up punch items, site observations, non-conformities, concessions, and corrective actions until closure.</li>
<li>Assist in checking red-line mark-ups, inspection reports, test packs, preservation records, equipment dossiers, and as-built documentation.</li>
</ul>

<li>Monitor contractor and subcontractor manpower, supervision, productivity, work quality, and compliance with the approved construction schedule.</li>
<li>Review short-term work plans and report constraints, delays, interface issues, and recovery requirements to the mechanical superintendent or construction manager.</li>
<li>Attend daily coordination meetings, site walkthroughs, progress reviews, toolbox talks, and technical meetings as required.</li>
<li>Prepare clear daily and weekly reports covering progress, manpower, inspections, constraints, quality issues, HSE observations, and planned activities.</li>
<li>Ensure personnel assigned to specialized mechanical activities are competent and appropriately qualified.</li>

<li>Coordinate mechanical interfaces with civil, structural, piping, electrical, instrumentation, telecom, HVAC, process, package vendors, and commissioning teams.</li>
<li>Ensure foundations, embedded items, access routes, lifting provisions, maintenance clearances, utilities, piping connections, and electrical and instrumentation interfaces are ready.</li>
<li>Support systemization, mechanical completion checks, punch-listing, turnover dossier preparation, and handover by system or subsystem.</li>
<li>Participate in readiness reviews before equipment start-up and ensure outstanding construction, quality, preservation, and safety items are controlled.</li>
<li>Support pre-commissioning and commissioning activities, including vendor attendance, flushing, lubrication, solo runs, functional tests, performance checks, and troubleshooting.</li>
</ul>
<h4>HSE responsibility</h4>
<ul>
<li>Ensure mechanical works comply with project HSE requirements, approved risk assessments, method statements, permit-to-work procedures, and isolation requirements.</li>
<li>Pay particular attention to lifting and rigging, stored energy, pressure testing, rotating equipment, hot work, work at height, confined spaces, line breaking, and simultaneous operations.</li>
<li>Intervene and stop unsafe work when necessary, report unsafe acts and conditions, and verify implementation of corrective measures.</li>
<li>Participate in toolbox talks, safety walks, audits, incident investigations, and lessons-learned activities.</li>
<li>Promote strong safety culture and good housekeeping in equipment areas, workshops, laydown areas, and mechanical work fronts.</li>
</ul>
<h4>Professional experience</h4>
<ul>
<li>More than 10 years of relevant experience in mechanical construction and site supervision on large EPC/EPSCC projects in oil and gas, power generation, water treatment, utilities, or major industrial facilities.</li>
<li>Significant field experience supervising installation, alignment, testing, preservation, pre-commissioning, and handover of mechanical equipment and packages.</li>
</ul>
<h4>Experience in similar position</h4>
<ul>
<li>Previous experience as site mechanical supervisor, mechanical construction supervisor, or equivalent position on a major project.</li>
<li>Hands-on experience with rotating equipment, static equipment, piping, pipeline, packaged units, pumps, compressors, turbines, vessels, heat exchangers, tanks, lifting equipment, and associated auxiliaries.</li>
<li>Experience in large pumping stations, power generation facilities, water treatment plants, or major utility systems is preferred.</li>
<li>Experience on Middle East projects and/or remote construction sites is an advantage.</li>
</ul>
<h4>Technical skills</h4>
<ul>
<li>Strong knowledge of mechanical construction methods, equipment installation, alignment, grouting, preservation, inspection, testing, pre-commissioning, and completion processes.</li>
<li>Ability to read and interpret equipment layouts, general arrangement drawings, foundation drawings, mechanical data sheets, P&IDs, piping isometrics, vendor drawings, installation manuals, and AFC documentation.</li>
<li>Good understanding of mechanical interfaces with civil, structural, piping, electrical, instrumentation, HVAC, process, and package systems.</li>
