<h2 class="h5">Job description</h2> <div class="t-break" data-jb-field="description"> <strong>Wells Materials &amp; Logistics Manager</strong><br> <em>Responsibility for up to 6 people</em><br> <em>Location: 28/28 Rotation in Iraq</em><br> <br> <em>Role Synopsis:</em><br> The Wells Materials &amp; Logistics Manager reports to the Well Engineering Manager (WEM). The role will be responsible for the management and coordination of the Wells Materials and Logistics team. Focal point for day-to-day logistics, services and materials support for all drilling, workover and ringless operations.<br> <br> A strong working relationship with PSCM, logistics, wells operation, QAQC and engineering teams. Plays a key role in strategic planning of equipment and services.<br> Improvement and development of M&amp;L forecasting, demand planning and tracking tools and processes to support increasing Wells department workloads.<br> <br> Key accountabilities:<ul><li>Lead the Wells M&amp;L team by example with a strong commitment to HSE, efficiency, practicality, training and mentoring of Iraqi nationals.</li><li>Develop and standardise workable Rumaila wells materials and logistics processes and plans.</li><li>Accountability for cost control and inventory reporting.</li><li>Strategic planning / demand forecasting for OCTG, tangibles and wellhead ordering.</li><li>Tracking of all OCTG &amp; Wellhead inventory and incoming shipments.</li><li>SPA for Management and QA/QC of Wells documents within Sharecat [DMS system] in relation to both RSB Receipts &amp; BOC Inspections.</li><li>Identify and system input for Wells Requisitions [Maximo] Service Orders, contract call offs.</li><li>Track all Material Shipment orders &amp; call offs placed by the department to final close.&nbsp; Cradle to grave approach.</li><li>SPA for Management and QA/QC of Wells Inventory Data, Catalogue Requests, etc. within Maximo [Enterprise Asset Management Software]</li><li>Focal CAM (Contract Administration Manager) for in country API machine shop contracts and liaise with inspection teams as required relating to operational requirements and priorities.</li></ul><br> Criteria &amp; Qualifications:<ul><li>A minimum of 15 years’ experience in delivery of PSCM &amp; Materials operations for large scale up-stream Drilling &amp; Workover operations with strong demonstration of long lead strategic planning.</li><li>Proven record of strong execution and delivery in a similar role.</li><li>Ability and experience to develop, improve, rollout and implement new processes and procedures for continuous improvement of the M&amp;L function.</li><li>Strong knowledge of transport standards and guidelines.</li><li>Strong knowledge of equipment and operations in land drilling, work over and well services operations.</li><li>Strong team player with proven experience in a similar leadership role.</li><li>A proven ability to coach, train and mentor local &amp; international staff in best industry practices.</li><li>Strong knowledge of safety and HSE requirements relating to logistics and transport in a similar Well’s environment.</li><li>Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to communicate openly at all levels.</li><li>Strong IT &amp; Inventory Management Systems skills, and ability to move and digitalise processes where identified.</li><li>Preference for knowledge of tendering, contract evaluation and acting as a contract CAM or technical SPA.</li><li>Excellent interpersonal skills.
