<p>In this function, QA/QC Electrical & Instrumentation Inspector will be responsible for site-based activities and monitoring and verifying installation activities for compliance with approved drawings, specifications, ITPs, and procedures of electrical & instrumentation and telecom, HVAC, fire and gas equipment i.e. cable tray, junction box, smoke & heat detector, speakers, lighting & small power, panel, motor, transformer, heat tracing systems, navigational aids, UPS, tubing, pressure, level, temperature transmitter located in Majnoon.</p>
<p>Review all project electrical & instrumentation and telecom, HVAC, fire and gas documentations such as ITP, procedure, MS, specification, data sheets, etc.</p>
<p>Support and promote project HSSE requirements within QA/QC activities and inspections.</p>
<p>QA/QC Electrical & Instrumentation Inspector reports to Site QA/QC Lead and has a reporting line to the Quality Assurance Discipline.</p>
<h4>Roles and responsibilities</h4>

<li>Perform quality control activities in accordance with approved inspection & test plans and associated specifications and procedures.</li>
<li>Review contractor inspection and test reports.</li>
<li>Review all project electrical & instrumentation and telecom, HVAC, fire and gas documentations such as ITP, procedure, MS, specification, data sheets, etc.</li>
<li>Inspection of all project Ex certified (ATEX) electrical, instrumentation, telecom, fire and gas, HVAC equipment as per IEC 60079.</li>
<li>Inspection and testing of LV & HV, control, instrumentation, telecom’s cabling, glanding, termination, etc.</li>
<li>Inspect and monitor installation of the switchboard, distribution board, telecom cabinet, ladder rack, cable trays, heat tracing, CCTV, earthing, glanding & termination, cathodic protection.</li>
<li>Inspection of the electrical & instrumentation equipment and telecom, HVAC, fire & gas i.e. cable tray, junction box, smoke & heat detector, speakers, lighting & small power, panel, motor, transformer, heat tracing systems, navigational aids, UPS, tubing, pressure, level, temperature transmitter.</li>
<li>Join line walk and identify and close punch items.</li>
<li>Work closely and maintain ongoing communication with contractors quality control representatives.</li>
<li>Pre-installation checks, installation compliance, pre-commissioning checks and associated risks with each of these areas and ensure problem areas are identified, reported and closed out.</li>
<li>Ensure non-conformances are reported in accordance with procedures.</li>
<li>Prepare weekly quality control status reports and submit to line manager.</li>
<li>Implement QA/QC activities including contractors/sub-contractors works in accordance with approved QCP/ITPs related ITRs and procedures, method statements and other contract documents.</li>

<p><b>Job Objectives/Project context:</b></p><p><br></p><p>The project is a gas plant located in Iraq, delivered under a DBOOM (Design, Build, Own, Operate, Maintain) contract. The Construction phase and Mechanical Completion are ongoing, Commissioning to be started very sooner. An experienced reinforcement is required to support the Commissioning & Start-Up Manager, drive contractors across all disciplines and accelerate activities in fast-track mode, with no compromise on safety or quality.</p><p><br></p><p>Key Responsibilities:</p><p><br></p><p>Monitoring & driving: Ensure day-to-day monitoring of contractors’ progress across all disciplines (ICSS, mechanical, electrical, instrumentation, HVAC, utilities…).</p><p>Acceleration: Challenge contractors, identify bottlenecks, enforce priorities and push teams to meet commissioning milestones.</p><p>Methodology: ORBIT methodology is considered for this project for the follow up of (subsystems, ITR, punch lists, MC/RFCC, completion dossiers). </p><p>Documentation: To make sure of the readiness of procedure and dossier to be ready for the activities.
