<p>Assist the Reservations Manager in managing the daily operations of the Reservations Department.<br>
Supervise and support Reservations Agents in handling individual, group, corporate, and travel-agent reservations.<br>
Ensure all reservations are accurately entered, updated, confirmed, modified, and cancelled in the hotel system.<br>
Monitor room availability, rates, restrictions, and inventory to maximize occupancy and revenue.<br>

<p>The operations manager will be based at the Baghdad Embassy Compound (BEC) site in Iraq and serve the operations and maintenance support services (OMSS) contract in support of the U.S. Department of State. This position will be responsible for taking ownership of the site operational responsibilities to include directing the daily performance of the organization, planning, scheduling, and training processes to meet the requirements of the contract. This position will report to the OMSS program manager. <p>The operations manager will be based at one of the three Amentum sites in Iraq and serve the Operations and Maintenance Support Services (OMSS) contract in support of the U.S. Department of State. At least two (2) years international experience in challenging locations, preferably the Middle East.</p><p>Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:</p><ul><li>Knowledge of ALL principles and processes involved in Quality Construction Management.</li><li>Ability to collect, analyze, and summarize data and to prepare clear and concise reports.</li><li>Experience in effectively dealing with international and headquarters staff, and sensitivity to other cultures, a basic understanding of local customs and culture and language.</li><li>Exercise sound judgment and make decisions independently and be able to take direction from leadership.</li><li>Ability to work in a fast-paced environment that requires handling multiple tasks at a given time and rapidly adapting to changing priorities and schedules, at multiple sites and projects.</li><li>Must have excellent people skills, organizational and time management abilities.</li><li>Expert computer skills, specifically in Microsoft Word, PowerPoint, and Excel.</li><li>Ability to become an active and functioning member of a team.</li><li>Ability to be innovative and be an agent for change.</li></ul><p>Education/Certification:</p><p>Certification of Quality Construction Inspector, or ten (8) years related experience and/or education. Licenses and Certifications: ISO 9001:2015 certification. Valid drivers license from Home of Record.</p><p>Security Vetting: Must be able to obtain and maintain a Secret US Government Clearance. Note: US Citizenship is required to obtain a Secret Clearance.</p><p>Language Skills: Satisfactory English proficiency to meet job requirements and to adhere and comply with safety, health, and security measures.</p><p>Medical: Successfully complete and pass the medical and dental examinations as required by Amentum and our customer for deployment to Iraq. Must maintain physical and dental requirements for duration of deployment.</p>
